Glad I have an auto-stick, no bushing! And living in San Diego, with traffic, no fatigue on my left leg. I had a 4-speed for ever and did love it. Good video.

Hey, really nice thinking to put that bushing in the freezer. Well done!

Good process using everyday tools in ones garage. Back when I was 17 worked in an auto machine shop as part of a high school work program. One of my jobs in the shop was i did all the valve jobs on many different type of motors having valves. On vw head when i install the new chrome-moly valve seats. I would put the heads in our break room oven at 400F. Then just before installing the seat, I would chill it with freon, then apply high strength green Loctite. The seat tap in and would never come out. Now this was back in 1972 the Loctite of today may different color.. But same trick using temp with tight fitting parts.

Slades VW Beetle thanks for sharing that. I really appreciated. You and Jim have been a great support to my channel. I do this because I love working with Classic VW and love to share with everyone a thing or two. I enjoy watching your videos too. Thanks Slades.
