hey man absolutely love this video series idea, really appreciate this as been looking for aesthetic base design videos for ideas in kenshi id quite literally couldnt have gotten someone better goddam the amount of ideas I got from you just to gain more enjoyment from the game was insane, keep it up also just a tip would love timestamps to see the sections of progress, keep it up man love the work
@@HeroInHisHead Cant wait, also just as an idea try a more vertical city maybe? if you can, compact verticality ive always wanted to see on kenshi base building, I havent even built a base yet lmao just training first
oooh if you went behind that station house theres a iron deposit and round to the left you can go up the hill and there is a little outlook above the station house and a hill that has a little plateau on and one entrance hill theres only two sort of large ways too wall off then the only entrance is that station house area usually i block the big ways off with walls and stuff then funnel them up the small passage but if you block that off you could have a nice little primitive style entrance i always use that place as a big city location as its right next to the hub and i like to stick wind turbines all janky on the cliff edge so it looks like theve been salvaged even though theyve fallen i might build up the big rock at the look out to see if i can with the f12 menu, would be a cool lookout to put one random dude on a chair with a turret maybe and a bed
Always enjoy watching your bases come together, thanks for the videos! Learned a few things of my own over time thanks to them; now my bases come together much better! I had an idea of making a skeleton base inspired somewhat by UWE and its 'Second Empire Remnant' faction, but I know very little about skeletons thanks to my Shek preference. Maybe you could cook something up in that vein instead?
I drop a new base video every other Friday and have 2 ahead already made. But you just gave me my next. So it'll be about a month and a half but it's coming.
I always wanted to build inside of the volcano crater close by tinfist base, I've entered but I haven't figured out how to enter and get out easily, I was trying with a chair
Are the buildings placed with f12 player's property? Im looking to use this tool to somehow make the walls actually stop enemies from clipping. If you have any suggestions, how do i do that?
Yes they are owned by the player faction. Before using the Shift F12 menu. Place down and build a small shack. This will created a boundary where everything tha is placed in it is owned by the player. From there you can place at your discretion. And when you're done or need to test anything simply save a reload and it will update all navmeshing so nothing can be clipped through by NPCs.
Hiver? Mountains? They are evolving! :D
great video, since I saw the youtube shorts I waited for these guides
Im glad you enjoyed it! I drop a new build video every other Friday now.

usually i block the big ways off with walls and stuff then funnel them up the small passage but if you block that off you could have a nice little primitive style entrance
