Hi, thank you for explaining! I've got a new calculator and while Tax+ seems to be fine, Tax- is producing strange results. The instructions don't say anything about how to address this, do you know why it may be? Tax is set at 20% but when I input 100 Tax- the result produced is 83.33

The answer is correct. 83.33 plus 20% tax is 100. So if you had 100 which was inclusive of tax, the calculator needs to work out the original amount plus 20% tax to make 100. Think of it this way: 100 minus 20% is 80 but 80 plus 20% is not equal to 100. That equals 96.
