I made the above recipe,I didn't have keshar, next time I will prepare with keshar,one thing I want to share that the taste of the Firni was so fabulous that my family member ate all,yesteday was my sister's marriage anniversary so they also came, when I offered the sweet desert to them they loved that so much ...& finally they finished all..I got only half teaspoon..I want to thank you people,with lot of hard work u prepare video ....I make my family happy with your recipe...really u people are just awesome. ..I don't have enough words..Thank you .I wish you gt all things you want....
My mum uses Kewra Water for Agar Agar Pudding (water , sugar, lemon juice and tender coconut water and also the Cream cut into slices and when in season , it’s Palm Apple 😋😋😋) and She adds Rose water for her Phirni and she mixes Semolina and Ground almonds instead of rice and Lastly After pouring into the cups , She sprinkles some chopped Pistachios , Almonds , and Kish Mish .

I made this yesterday and it turned out so tasty and similar to the phirni we get from shops. And I kept it in fridge for around 1 to 2 hours but some cups that were in it for the whole day taste so good today. They definitely taste richer after 12+ hours of cooling. My grandmother used to heat a small ladle then add toast the saffron strands after switching off the heat. She would remove the saffron strands to another very small bowl after a 30 secs . She would then just crush the saffron with her hand. It would crumble and become a powder. This she added to the dish. She said you won't get saffron strands in your mouth and it is distributed evenly throughout the dish.

My grandmother used to heat a small ladle then add toast the saffron strands after switching off the heat. She would remove the saffron strands to another very small bowl after a 30 secs . She would then just crush the saffron with her hand. It would crumble and become a powder. This she added to the dish. She said you won't get saffron strands in your mouth and it is distributed evenly throughout the dish.
