As a gay man, I have to say, the story of “i’m just buying a place and my best mate is coming to live with me. But he will be renting from me!” Feels and sounds ALL TOO familiar! I wish them well. 😁😄🙈
Yep. My well-tuned gaydar was going off. Straight guys aren't so beautifully groomed. I suppose they had to invent this 'renting' story for the programme.
@@muskndusk nah. Kirstie and Phil find houses for gay couples on the program quite frequently and they don’t hide the relationship. The UK is more gay-friendly than North America. Note this pair want separate front doors, kitchens and bathrooms, as well as bedrooms and living areas. They may be gay, but they’re not a couple.
@@Bandomeme Good point. I had no idea we were more gay-friendly than the US. When I was on the goth scene, I was a bit of a gay idol - superfeminine with very long black hair. The gays were so much more sociable than straights.
That’s a fair comment, Cairo. I grew up in a classic 2-bed plus box room, two rooms downstairs, not anywhere near as large as the houses we were able to buy in North America. Last time I visited the old neighborhood that (small) house had even been divided into two apartments!
I know it’s called location location location but I don’t get why he cares that much. So what it’s a pedestrian route out of cheltenham can’t you just close the double glazing and have done with it?
For the first time, i can't finish watching this guy, he really annoyed me. His budget is not enough to be in an expensive area to be honest he must be realistic or he knows that his budget is not enough to buy an expensive house he wants.
I think after watching about 25 episodes that what I don't like is Kirstie's voice and the way she slams a word home. It is quite a contrast to Phil's dulcet tones. Otherwise, great program.
Agreed. A quiet pompous demeanour. As soon as he started talking I felt irritated by him. Poor guy, just trying to buy a house and I’m hating on him. Sorry, if you are watching Ian
0:05 I just always took those houses and gardens for granted but now when I walk past them I think this is pretty
Beautiful Kirsty and Cool Phil both great presenters
Very beautiful houses ❤️
Where’s part two?
Where's part II?
Stunning Phil if you had a room full of suits and hardly any space for Kirstie You will kandy up with her shoes and not her 😀No comment
So weird that a doctor can't afford something. Here in the USA it is so different
Especially an anesthesiologist.
When was this made?
2001-2004 the telly's, cell phones , cars & house prices are great clues

Oh for goodness sake, surely mates are allowed to be just that....... mates?
pretty big houses for uk standards
You don't live in the UK do you ? I grew up in much larger properties.
@@shellc6743 I have been there and compared to the united states your homes are quite compact.
@@WayToManyAssassins I grew up in homes with more than 3 reception rooms, countless bedrooms and stables .... where were you visiting ?

Love this series but these SA adverts😬 not complaining, just saying 🙊🙉🙈
Putting modern fireplaces in a period property is a hanging offense.

He's done just fine lol

Wonder why you would be irritated by a well-educated guy with a high salary looking to buy a nice house... hmm.
@@givepeaceachance5834 because he's a pretentious piece of shit? 🤷♂
