I listen to you before anyone else. Keep up the great work! I ordered these yesterday after reading that the interference problem is fixed after firmware update. Stoked!
Found your channel a the end of last year and been loving it ever since. Your content just screams quality dude. For any new gear coming out - I wanna hear a BadSeed take on it.
For anyone that buys this, if you have trouble updating the dongle reset the pairing for the dongle and then try to update it in the software. I couldn't get it to update from the start and finally tried that and ended up working. Also, just beware that the wireless connection is not the best. I do not use any other wireless peripherals and I was getting interference at my desk which is not acceptable for $350 especially when I know the Arctis does not have those issues. It's unfortunate b/c the headphones do sound really good.
Thanks a ton for your superior reviews! I just bought the Arctis Pro Wireless for my July birthday and it took a little getting used to in order to find a comfortable fit on my big head. I finally found it to be comfortable but with the help of some $20 replacement velour ear cups from wicked cushions. I now really like it a lot and can't believe how much better it sounds than my 5 year old Astro A50. When I saw this review pop up, I was worried that I may have bought a week or so too early. I've always wanted to try Sennheiser but they never had a wireless model I figured had everything I wanted. Now that these are out, I will consider them. I can still return my Arctis Pro Wireless set if I have to, but not sure I want to. Thanks for giving us all the info we need to help us make our decisions. The content and presentation of your reviews are stellar.
Thank you - I really appreciate that. I'm going to paste what I replied to another comment bc I think it applies here as well: I think it's really like - features and performance Arctis>GSP. Sound quality/mic quality GSP>Arctis. There's no clear winner. But I feel *more* comfortable recommending the GSP even with its technical shortcomings because I can't see ANYONE being happy with the sound. But the Arctis IS clearly more polished in terms of the actual tech, so if you're content with the sound, you're in good shape. 👍
Ordered model O, and GMMK from your review quite a few months ago, I think they might finally be coming in! Can't wait :P Thanks for another great review Brian!
Allen Entrekin same, I’ve ordered the GMMK TKL and it’s very good, I really recommend, and the Model O is just beautiful. You’ll be satisfied with your purchase on the mouse for sure, and the keyboard.
Dude, you deserve a lot more view count and likes for this. You are one of the best reviewer I've seen so far in this category. If you search gsp 670 review and you are one of the top that pops up. I cant believe how come this video was released in 2019 and still only have this much views/likes
Man I'm so glad you reviewed this headset, I've had my eye on it since it was shown at Computex and I had no idea about the interference issues with wireless Logitech mice. If it wasn't for your in depth testing I wouldn't have known about it and probably pulled the trigger as soon as they were available in Australia. As an owner of a Logitech GPW this would have annoyed the **** out of me lol. I guess I'll have to wait and see if Sennheiser can implement a work around for this before I go buying one. Keep up the awesome content Brian!
They have been updating firmware. I dont know if this is a firmware fixable issue. I did hold this video so I could test the newest firmware and it made an improvement but didn't fix the issue.
@@badseedtech Thanks for the reply, yeah I suppose it's possible that it may be a hardware level issue that might not be able to be completely patched out with firmware updates. I sent a ticket to Sennheiser about the issue to see what their plans are.
@@ProjectLabz Are you asking me? I do not own this headset. I did try one pair on and it was a pretty bad fit for my head, but that's about as far as my experience with it goes.
Lem Borghini mines on the way I might have to do the same if I find the same issue, I also use a G pro wireless. Been looking at the Ath-g1wl as well. How is it in comparison?
Lem Borghini thanks for your input friend. The G pro is the wireless mouse I use not the G pro headset sorry forgot to clarify that. I appreciate the feedback. Im looking forward to trying the 670 myself. Maybe return it to BB if I find the signal problems with the mouse. I love the g pro wireless personally. What do you use for a mouse?
Great review! You have an awesome voice and a distinct style, love it! Interesting that you had a volume issue, mine get crazy loud to the point that it hurts. O.o I wonder what makes the difference.
I'm curious how you like them as well. I just purchased Corsair Virtuoso headphones over the weekend and i'm not totally blown away. I'm willing to shell out the extra cash if the Sennheiser sound THAT good.
I love my Steel Series, the hot swap batteries are the best thing ever. I don't know why other brands haven't gone to that type of a system. I also hope that companies figure out that GAMER is lamer. Make it nice, modern and functional. Leave that crazy styling out. My.02. As always Brian P, excellent coverage and presentation.
I agree about the battery. Only thing I don't like about the Arctis Pro Wireless (at least as far as a wireless headset goes) is the velcro headband adjustment.
Thanks much for this detailed and informative review. I've been using my venerable Sennheiser HD25 headphones for mobile audio editing for over 5 years, and I love their durability. Gear that's carried around in a backpack takes more abuse, no matter how careful you try to be. The unassuming, rather retro design on the HD25 looks fragile but is a lot sturdier than it looks. The bottom line is that Sennheiser doesn't build junk. Sennheiser also respects the integrity of the sound and doesn't boost the hell out of bass or treble. For editing, you need to hear what's really there in the media, not what your headphone manufacturer thinks will sound badass. For gaming and conference calls I've been using Arctis 5 for about 2 years. They're as comfortable as you describe for the other models in that family, but I'm moving to wireless because I move around enough the cable hassle is getting to me. With the Arctis 5, it's not just that there is a cable, but also that the chatmix dial in the middle of the cable is sooooo easy to accidentally move. I use Discord's ability to set incoming volume levels for each teammate, so the chatmix wheel is an annoyance, not a feature, for me. That said, though, I have a high opinion of the Arctis line overall, especially for long-term comfort. (FWIW, people talk about the "ski goggle" fabric band stretching over time. It does, but put a short "Z" fold into it and secure that with a safety pin, and the problem is solved easily and cheaply.) I've been debating between the Sennheiser GSP 670, the Arctis 9, and a couple of others (but these two are my front-runners), and honestly I think the Sennheiser's audio has won me over. I agree with you about not wanting a "gamer look", and that's one area where I'd hand the victory to the Arctis series. The Sennheiser won't fold as flat for transport, and doesn't look as professional, but in the engineering world our colleagues and customers know we're geeks, so they aren't too shocked if our work gear looks less like an episode of Meet the Press and more like an episode of Star Trek.
Thanks for the review, you are the only one who did cover my main questions, especially if there was interference with other wireless peripherals ... Thanks for saving me 300 bucks...
Digging the beard man, also I have no idea how you haven't popped up in my tech feeds - what is UA-cam doing?! Great content. I've really been trying to decide between this and the Arctis Pro Wireless. I'm so torn haha.
I just got a GSP 301 set used for 50 bucks as my first Senheiser product, or any quality headset in general and i LOVE them. Only downsides are the non removable mic and cord. Sound is great, and even though my white version is less gamer lookin I get your point lol. Looking forward to checking these out at some point tho.

GSP's mic sounds really good seriously I'm impressed, but I've been using the Arctis Pro Wireless lately the hot swap battery system is the feature that sold me the headset, it's amazing, plus I got them for prime day so heavily discounted (30%), Dmitry from HC pointed out that there's a problem with the GSP's wireless range so much smaller than Arctis I don't know if you tested it and can confirm that, so overall I'm happy that I followed your endorsement for the Arctis Pro Wireless it was the right choice for me moving from wired to wireless, hands down.
100k ??? Idk how you don't have a couple million already but I'm sure you will be there in no time, Because just like the products you review your channel is top quality.
GSP670 gave me nothing but issues with connectivity and mic buzzing, returned it and ordering the arctic pro. I dont recommend gsp670 to anyone until they fix their shit, sound was great when it worked though
Dude the Sennheiser headset lineup has insanely crisp mics! I have the PC37x and people on BR fill games always think I have a professional streaming mic!
I got my Arctis Wireless Pro for 250 in November and the hot swap batteries combined with the volume and the weight make it the better option for me. I’m not being biased here, even if I didn’t own either I would buy the Arctis as the convenience and overall product appeal more to me.
Planning on maybe getting these, just got myself a new top-spec gaming laptop and I'm planning to go on a gaming spree for the first time in a few years. I don't like using wired things with laptops even if I don't mind it much with desktops. It just gets in the way far too much when you're moving them around several times a day. I don't really care about the mic but I value sound quality and 7.1 capacity tuned for gaming and immersion rather than music. The main concern is perhaps the possibility of it getting nasty interference by bluetooth mice. I'll have to go with a non-logitech brand and hope it'll work. Wired is a no-go with a laptop that you move around, even with a desktop it's a pain and you have to get the cord and mouse positioned just right, but with a laptop you move around... Yeah, it's bound to be a major pain in the neck, if I was forced to choose between one or the other, I'd go for a wired headset and wireless mouse any day of the week.
Hi Brian, Great video as always. One thing I surprised that you didn't point out is the fact that there is no indication when these are fully charged. The green charge led never goes out which I find very odd on such a premium headset. Almost every wireless gaming headset has some form of battery fully charged indicator.
Which wireless gaming headset did you end up using ? I just want the best. There are some feedbacks online that the ARCTIS PRO WIRELESS headset keep making a "sshhh" background noise... Have you noticed anything like that ? Thanks in advance NB: I prefer very large cubs and soft fabric with open noise so yoú can get air to your ears. And of course a mic of good quality with noise cancelling.
Just subbed to the channel, the quality of your content is obvious to me. I would like to request that you do a review on the Logitech G Pro keyboard, since you have mentioned that it is a personal favorite of yours.
A little bit disappointed about the confort of this headset, it give me horrible pain on the top of my head, maybe because of the 390g of the headset. But, these sounds exxxtraordinary. And also, big support from France BadSeed Tech 💪🏼
Great review! I'm a bit of a Sennheiser fan myself, but recently picked up the Arctis Pro Wireless for 175 euro (replaced my 10 year old Sennheiser). I really like them, BUT, they do have a constant static noise. I can only hear it with my right ear (which I guess is my "better" ear..). Do the GSP 670 have any static noise? Actually love everything about the Arctis Pro, but the noise is very annoying for me..
Its coffee time while watching your video ☕, still waiting if you can put your hands on 1more spearhead VR gaming headsets , or the new wireless headsets from lucidsound LS50X , great videos bro and wish you the best of luck 👍👍
i dont mind a "gaming" peripheral here and there it adds a modern flare if not overdone but its when 80% of someones desk screams *GaMeR!* that it becomes too much
Hey Brian, I have some money to spend on some new gear, and I have a question about the Ducky One2 Mini. I already have a quality TKL keyboard for gaming and productivity. But after watching your videos I’ve been thinking of getting a Ducky board. Do you thinks it’s worth buying for the experience you get even though I already have a good keyboard?
After watching both of your reviews on the Sennheiser GSP 670 and the Steelseries Arctis Pro wireless. Great reviews by the way. I don’t own a pc to unlock the added features that the GSP 670 has. I also have a rather large head. Which headset would you recommend for PS4?
Thank you for the perfect review. Sadly, although the sound is truly perfect and range and loudness on PS4 acceptable, it's a no-go for me. It does not fit my head at all. Pure discomfort.
With a budget around 500-800dollar. What headset would you go for including a dac. Dt 1990? Been looking at alot of cans and i cant decide. I want the best of both worlds. Love bass but i want the soundstage for gaming. Also i already got a standalone mic. Love the content, man! Keep the content coming.
Hey thanks for the video! I just bought this headset and it is on the way. I was super excited until I found a recent youtube video saying that they're not compatible with windows 11. You can do 2.0 but not 7.1 and there is no road map for an update or fix according to Sennheiser. Are you able to do me a solid and confirm or deny this Badseed?
Sam C removable batteries is the best idea smoking for wireless. I can’t begin to count how many times the battery has died on my headset & I wish I could just pop in a fresh one.
Torn between these and the Arctis Pro...if that extra padding on the headband fixed the issue with pressure on the top of your head I might go with these over the Arctic Pro, fatigue around the crown of my head was always the worst part of the GSP500 and 600's for me.
Good news, it appears the issue with wireless interference with Logitech wireless mice has been fixed through firmware. Although it's apparently tricky to update it properly, see this thread for instructions: www.reddit.com/r/sennheiser/comments/clfusz/gsp_670_static_fix_and_logitech_g_pro_wireless/
Man i really cant thank you enough for the review! Loved my Arctis but they keep breaking at the hinges. 2 times now after only about a year. Seems like a wear and tear thig? Will try out the Sennheiser as replacements. P.S. would like to hear what you think about the audio-technica ath-g1wl ?
Hey! Did you buy the Sennheiser? I wonder if this one has more bass and deep sounds. The sound of the arctis sounds good compared to my tb but the arctis sounds a bit more "flat" in my opinion. I tested it out on a 7 btw.
I bought the GSP 670 last week and so far I think it's great except for one issue. After about half an hour to an hour of wearing the headset I start to get a pain at the top of my head. I've tried adjusting the headsets earcup length and using the sliders at the top of the headset (can't quite figure out what they do) but can't seem to get it 100% comfortable. Do you have any tips for finding a better fit/improving comfort? I'm contemplating returning the headset because of this pain but wanted to ask for advice first because I really enjoy the sound.
Man this made it even harder. Can't seem to choose which route to go. The gsx1000 coupled with a gsp600 or the gsp670. The wireless freedom is nice and I'm used to it. But I've hears so much awesome stuff about the gsx1000 and a gsp600
Hi badseed your reviews are the best i need your opinion i have the gsp 600 and the mayflower arc amp and the arctis pro wireless and the new. Gen 4 astro a40 and the akg 712 pro i. Have so many but ive been using the akg 712 pro with the mayflowe arc amp for my daily driver on ps4 pro even sounds better for movies so.is it worth. Buying these gsp670 do they sound that good please let me know
Any Idea how they hold up against Sennheiser Game One's ? Bought the One's when they came out and I just keep replacing the pads because nothing I have tried so far has been good enough to justify the change.
@@badseedtech Really? I'm one of those people that would rather not compromise either so I have a separate microphone. That's honestly disappointing. :/
I preordered these and was really excited to see how they were compared to my Astro A50 Gen 3’s. So disappointed with the volume limit. Sent them back the next day.

Hi Brian,
Great video as always. One thing I surprised that you didn't point out is the fact that there is no indication when these are fully charged. The green charge led never goes out which I find very odd on such a premium headset. Almost every wireless gaming headset has some form of battery fully charged indicator.
Waiting on my K7XX to arrive based on your review. Mayflower ARC possibly up next. So I'm good lol.
Yeah, you're DEFINITELY good with that setup.
A really solid video 👍!!
Great review!
Amazing reviews! Subbed
Would you recommend these over the audeze möbius when it comes to sound quality alone?
Which wireless gaming headset did you end up using ?
I just want the best.
There are some feedbacks online that the ARCTIS PRO WIRELESS headset keep making a "sshhh" background noise...
Have you noticed anything like that ?
Thanks in advance
NB:
I prefer very large cubs and soft fabric with open noise so yoú can get air to your ears.
And of course a mic of good quality with noise cancelling.
Just subbed to the channel, the quality of your content is obvious to me. I would like to request that you do a review on the Logitech G Pro keyboard, since you have mentioned that it is a personal favorite of yours.
I get asked about it a lot - I'll have to get around to it. And thanks for the sub!
Have you tested the Lucid Sound LS41 headsets? Curious to how it compares to these headsets. Great video.
just found ur channel i love u
me too
: )
Its coffee time while watching your video ☕, still waiting if you can put your hands on 1more spearhead VR gaming headsets , or the new wireless headsets from lucidsound LS50X , great videos bro and wish you the best of luck 👍👍
i dont mind a "gaming" peripheral here and there it adds a modern flare if not overdone but its when 80% of someones desk screams *GaMeR!* that it becomes too much
Says the one with a gaming handle as their name 🤷♂️
ok mr gaming
@@syv6173 and even im saying theres a limit...
MoonMaN Gaming Oo a gamer girl!!
AngryTank Killa if it means someone will buy my bath water I can be lol
What mic do you use to record your videos? Big fan btw
Thanks man. I use an AT4053b into a Zoom H4N.
@@badseedtech thx bruv I didnt ask but I checked the comments for ur setup and this helped
review the Beyerdynamic mx300 2nd gen, its in the same priceleague
@@KantenHammer it's too bright. Also it's just stereo
Are you able to do me a solid and confirm or deny this Badseed?
every time i hear him talk, i wanna clear my throat
Can I ask what your mousepad is? It looks beautiful.
james Paul pretty sure it’s one from novelkeys.com. Think he covered it in his How to get video. Hope that helped!
I wish more manufactures would do the hotswap battery feature. Would make wireless so much better!
I've seen some dumb reviewers complain about removable batteries...
Thank you for this great review... have you tried Dolby Atmos with the GSP 670...?
Just picked these up for £230 on amazon in the UK
after 1 year, how was it?
In your opinion which is better GSP 670 vs Arctis pro wireless vs Hyperx Orbit S? They GSP 670 works with GSX 1200 pro, worth it?
I love the look of my Sennhiser gsp 302 and gsp 370.
What do you think about the new Audio-Technica ATH-G1 can you please do a review of it in the future? thanks for your job and God bless
Holy damn the beard tho
Great video👍🏻😁
Man, your intro music is ridiculous. Keep it up
Did you ever try the Mobius after the software and hardware updates?
Would you recommend these or the audeze Mobius or the arctis pro?
Awesome review! Hey whatever happened to Setup Flex?
Man this made it even harder. Can't seem to choose which route to go. The gsx1000 coupled with a gsp600 or the gsp670. The wireless freedom is nice and I'm used to it. But I've hears so much awesome stuff about the gsx1000 and a gsp600
SO GSP 670 or the Arctis Pro is more comfortable?! Cant decide which to get
Hi badseed your reviews are the best i need your opinion i have the gsp 600 and the mayflower arc amp and the arctis pro wireless and the new.
I wish more gaming companies would forget about the microphone. I want more gaming HEADPHONES.
They don't sell. That's why you hardly see them.
So , Astro A50 OR GSP 670 ?
@@Mr.moon0 ive bought astro a50 gen4 . Don't recommend this for fps games also they have so many issues with the software and the sound so.
I already own these but i liked your review so much you got a new SUB and a like! :-)
Hi! Do you use a wireless mouse, and do you hear the cracking issue? I don't use a wireless mouse, so I am wondering if I can bypass that issue. Thanks!
watched this video while listening through my arctis pro wireless. lol
Me too lol!
me too. ahahah
Listening to this on my phone's speakers cus my artics 7's connected to my switch wirelessly
Get that review primed and ready for the Astro A50 Gen 4 coming soon . Looks promising .
