Lisa please take care of yourself. I lost my niece in January she was 65 (we are only 5 yrs apart she was like a sister to me) she had high blood pressure . She was at her Mom's and they were talking about her daughter getting married in June (tomorrow) and my sister said that she told her she wasn't feeling right she died in her sleep from an aneurysm. She was a nurse and had a heart of gold just like you. God Bless You and Harlan for all the wonderful gifts you do for complete strangers. I enjoyed your videos a lot.
So sorry to have to wait on your surgery, however, take care of yourself...I am enjoying this mystery quilt...hope you plan to do another one next spring/summer...
Bless your heart. Mine was a little higher than usual too, so my Dr. says no more than two cups of coffee a day. I do not have to take meds for it, so trying to lose weight so I never have to be on meds for blood pressure. oh boy love your recipes, that chicken pot pie is so darn cute. I really appreciate this tutorial as this has to be one of my favorites so far with this pattern.
When I quit sugar and most processed food brought my blood pressure to normal levels. It's hard but it keeps me off medicine. Keep trying, you can do it!
I can sense your disappointment. Sometimes we don’t see until after the fact the benefit of a delay. I know you have a great ability to be adaptable and overcome adversity. I read what you wrote...I read that EQ gives rotary cutting instructions for only 1 block at a time, so you have to multiply it by the number of times each block is used in the quilt or something like that. That might be where the shortage came from? Overages usually come from us doing techniques that EQ can't like 2 at a time HST's.

And your yellow squash! So nice! It's one of my very favorites & I never get it anymore due to the high prices. Ridiculous, esp when it's a very faded yellow & not firm (old). I lucked out and when I checked my stash, I had tons more of my lt pink fabric (although mine is lt green). I was very relieved, but would have substituted if I had to.

I'm having problems removing my newsprint. The glue stick isn't releasing. I did last week with copy paper and it was better. The newsprint seems to separate where it's glued while copy paper didn't. Any hints on how to remove the newsprint residue?

Lisa, take care of yourself. Having to take medicine isn't fun but sometimes very necessary for you to feel better and have a longer life. I'm glad they had you go to your doctor immediately. You will get back to your teeth soon I'm sure. Now, have some fun sewing!
In general I feel fine, on April 18 I had a heart attack. I surprised everyone they were totally surprised. My heart feel fine. They went in on my right arm and I can’t see right now. I am bored lisa

Aww, sorry . I'm sure your anxiety was through the roof. You will look back on this and laugh once it's all over. My pressure shot up at work. 236/134 My Dr, which is where I work, had the office manager rush me to Er. I started crying, and it went higher. Blood work scans Meds oh my. I do suffer from hypertension. So does my entire blood pool, but you can overcome it. Hang in there. I haven't. I'm 5"7 194 and still. I guess it's hereditary for me. I'll be praying 🙏🏽 so this can be behind you. I can't wait until your big reveal.

I know you are disappointed that your surgery was canceled, but it is better to know that your blood pressure is out of control than to continue on like that. High blood pressure is a silent killer. It is the leading cause of stroke and many people being on dialysis. I am so glad you are doing what you can to lower your blood pressure. I am so sorry that you have to suffer decaffeinated tea.
I'm so sad you had to postponne your surgery. It's so hard to go through all the preparations and mentally be ready only to be told it can't happen today. Hope the new blood pressure medication agrees with you as those can take some adjustment. Hopefully, it's something you can taper off of as you make some dietary and lifestlye adjustments. I'm not caught up any further than I was last week on the clues.😅
