I've always been a pitaka fan. Aramid fiber is beautiful on the z fold 6. I gave the thinborne case a try and I love it! The front fits well and I am definitely impressed! You won't be disappointed with either one.
I love aramid cases. I use them on my phones for many years now (usually the AliExpress ones- that are still not cheap- around 30-40usd), but for my OnePlus open I had to go with something else. Reason? Same as explained in the video here. The front part of the case does not stick, as there is not enough space for it to grip to the phone. Because of that I bought a case with integrated screen protector for external screen. The screen protector adds a lot of toughness and stiffness. It makes it grip to the phone much better. Because of that I have slightly degraded external display quality (because of screen protector- hurting especially viewing angles of the screen) but much improved general protection level.
Yeah, I got three Pitaka ones for my Pixel Fold and each time, they had that issue. Eventually got one off Amazon from a relatively no name brand named Dupkev and it actually fit really well.
Like their cases, but they really need to offer a front cover as at least an option. I am not a fan of half covering the phone. Seems like putting a band aid over half a wound , not full protection. In that instance i just prefer caseless.
I used to run a Latercase on my Fold 4 and Fold 5. I've stopped using a case entirely at this point. Even an ultrathin aramid case like that just ruins the feel of the Fold for me - nothing compares to running it "raw." It's also incredibly durable so I've really not felt the need for a case since. I do not baby my Fold 5 one bit and it's still as good as new despite multiple drops, regularly living in my pocket while downhill mountain biking, and just getting a ton of daily use out and about. Really, just go watch the durability test GSM Arena did recently on the Honor Magic V3. Foldables are no longer fragile trinkets.
I only wanted a case that added MagSafe, and the pitaka being the slimmest one I went with that. I had originally bought the Ringke Clear MagSafe one, but didn’t like the feel of it. Also from what I’ve read is that 1500D is thicker and stronger, you stated 600D is stronger.
I have a black Pitaka case for my Pixel Fold and it just never fits quite right. Currently using a Latercase on my Z Fold 6 and it's great! Love the feel and the fit is very tight tolerance. Downside is no magsafe (I don't use magsafe, so meh), and I can't find a tempered glass screen protector that will work with it.
The Pitaka pattern and colors kinda remind me of an old sweater from the 80's.
Maybe that's why I like it so much 🤔

Been using Pitaka on my devices and loving them.
❤❤ As long as you enjoy your phone, we love it even if it is with someone else's case.
You sold me on getting the Thinborne case for my fold 5, I got it for 60 bucks thanks for your coupon

I have the same exact case for my base s24. It adds zero bulk or weight and feels incredible in hand. I found 1 on eBay at a really good price.

I also got a dupkev for my iPhone 15. Can't get myself to pay more than $30 for one of these and it's been well.

Ive only ever used pitaka and latercase Aramid cases and the pitakas always seemed to be better quality
I generally like Pitaka, but I didn't like the contrasted branding they went with this year. That sent me back to Thinborne this go around.
I just ordered mine I saw this a month ago but didn't want to order cause I like my white z fold 6 but when I saw it on yours looks really good 👍
I had their case for my s24 ultra and loved it but without including the front case for the fold 6 I had to look elsewhere.
It is interesting that that the video was so much brighter than the camera you normally record with. The audio was fine.
Same cameras and mic as always
Is there case for the OnePlus Open like this?
Have the same case and love it.
Using the pitaka sunset with a front piece from my spigen ultra hybrid

Like the review. I am still loving my thinborne case though
Waiting to see if Pitaka releases a blue one for the Pixel 9 Pro Fold like they have for the Z Fold 6.
Do you notice any difference in magnet strength between the two?
hey that samsung s pen case also doesnt take that camera microphone into consideration either. its flush with the camera bezel.
Doss the s pen work with the case on?
FWIW... The OEM Samsung S--pen case doesn't have the mic cutout either.
Even in the pen case doesnt have a mic hole cut
Awesome 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Price is crazy
Not for real aramid fiber
Wow that Z-fold 6 crease feels so deep
I say put a skin on it. :)
Yea I pass, fuq that😂
