What a selection Was in England recently it is sad how the great engineering Industry has gone and everything comes from China Glad to see those antique tools still out there
Thank you for the acknowledgement. The Southeast Asia region has mostly china made tools, and if one is lucky, he can find Japanese manufactured tools.I believe in the fifties there were British made tools, which are all gone!.
Ben, you seemed to breeze thru there like you had an appointment later on in the day! =D When there are that many tools in one area your brain can't focus and you just scan the area without seeing many great gems. When I go to a show I spend at least 5 hours looking carefully and still miss a ton of stuff. Nice show!
What an amazing set of stalls, nearly all of them had wonderful planes! Lots of other great stuff too, I'd also like to know where that was. Very interesting Ben, thanks for sharing
Awesome! Apart from the fact that I couldn't touch anything it was just like being there😁 I spotted two Footprint adjustable spanners and one Footprint wrench... or maybe it was a copy 🤔 My late father would have spent hours looking at all of the carpentry tools. Thanks Ben 👍👍👍
Noooo, stop! How could you walk past? I counted 238 items that I want, ok that’s a slight exaggeration, I don’t need the typewriter, still that leaves 237! I use to think Ben is the man to take to an event, but not any more. You picked up four lovely small planes and put every one of them down again! How? Why? And as for the van with the back door open and the woodworking tools, make an offer, I bet they would have thrown the van as well. Good video though. 👍
Right there at the end I saw that Preston router plane! I’d love to work a trade out on one of those. I’m in the US but if your interested let me know. Thanks Ben!!
Wow, I have never seen so many quality tools in one place, I literally could spend all day there & spend a fortune, thank goodness I’m just watching the video and not there😭😭…… Thank you for sharing that Ben
Wow, that’s whetted my appetite Ben. Where was this car boot sale? That looked to be an allhadins cave for vintage woodworking tools… (I’m north of Manchester) 😃👍
What a brilliant tour round, on my budget I'm still rummaging in boxes of rust Ben, thanks for taking us round, loved that big wooden handled coach wrench at the start 👍👍👍✌️
That was cool. Thanks for sharing that Ben!
