As an Oregonian born and raised and a life long Duck fan, I pray Dan can get us a natty or two. We’re tired of being known for jerseys and ducks fans want to be known for winning!
You must be new to football recruiting. It’s very hard to convince elite players and their parents to move from Texas, Florida, etc to come to college in Oregon. We are just now breaking though but if we were in LA it would be even more successful
As a life long Oregonian I disagree. While it is gorgeous here, top football recruits generally don't care that you can be in the mountains or at the coast within a 2 hour drive. And Eugene isn't exactly known for its nightlife.
I've been an Oregon fan since Dan Fouts & Bobby Moore were playing, and while I thought Dan Lanning was a special hire, after I saw the pre-game speech against Colorado, I knew Oregon had the best Coach in CF. Since then he has proved it.
I didn’t think DL was a special hire. I wish I had, but when I heard I was kinda upset. I didn’t follow the hire closely but was like another south east guy that’ll stepping stone us, a defensive guy? Were offensive Oregon. But man he’s delivered Im so glad we found him and he’s believed in us and stayed
All Ducks teams are special in their own unique way, but I sense an all-time great 👍🏾 bond, chemistry, love, and brotherhood with this particular team, which leads me to believe it's Oregon's year to win 🏆 it all, and It doesn't matter what bracket they were placed in because if your the best team, you'll win despite bracketology, you'll win because your simply the best!!!! Go Ducks 💚 💛 💚💛💚💛💯🎯
As we all know a good majority of the BIG boys are in the gravy eating south. Other than USC back in the Carroll days no Champs out west for 20 years. We have been in two Championship games and didn't have the meat to compete. Although the Auburn game we really could of won but Farily killed us. Mario got the ball rolling with getting bigger bodies but his in game coaching was horrible. Dan is relentless and even if it doesn't happen this year we are certainly getting close. Personally it's just nice to have quality team to follow this far into the season. But if we do win..............FEBU
I live in Eugene and granted it’s not a big city like LA or other areas but if you wanna play football with every resource available and very little distractions then Eugene is the place.
Yesterday Dan snagged the #1 OT. Not sure if recruit or transfer. But he hits it out of the park once again. As for Natty, keeping emotions in check until that day arrives. But confident Oregon is 3 games away from first ever National Title.
I can see Will Stein leaving but Tosh ain’t going anywhere. He’s been everywhere and I think he’s like Dan, tired of moving around and is happy where he is now.
I hope we win because this is the best we have been. I love Dan lanning and I think the ducks deserve it. Means nothing if there’s a single team we can’t beat though and Ohio state is by far the #2 team. If we win this I’ll always be saying that the O stands for losses

Play Ohio State???........Looking forward to watching the Buckeyes finish the season with back to back loses at the shoe and Tennessee planting their flag at mid field.
My money is on the Vols. I really don’t care for either team. But all the pressure is on the Buckeyes. Riddled by injury particularly on the O-line. All Tennessee has to do is play their brand of ball and not get cocky.
@brucechmiel7964 i think the expectation is to beat Michigan. If Dan Lanning lost to Washington this year i think he would be in a similar spot as day next year
I’m a proud Oregon native, got family up there and been a Ducks fan since 2009, if Oregon won it all, it would be great for the sport of college football.

Oregon’s geography isn’t a weakness. It’s a strength. Anyone who has spent time in the PNW will know.
As a Floridian, I really want to move to Oregon.

As a die hard Oregon Fan. I feel confident in saying this Dan lanning will win a natty in the year or two and this year might be time.
Dan will take the squad to the promise land. Dante Moore is going to be a baller
It's WIDE OPEN. We'll know a bit more when we see Tennessee and Ohio State play. GO DUCKS!!!

Good stuff, J.D., appreciate your content. Go Ducks!

Oregon has a good chance this year, im hoping they get it done.
Saban had his tree. Kirby had his tree. Now it’s time for the lanning tree

As a ducks fan I’d love to see the coaching staff stick together for 3-4 years and dominate.

Dan Lanning had done a magnificent job!
Were gonna play Tennessee. OSU is washed
could see it
He learn a lot fr UGA and his former boss Smart. Look at the Dawgs.
Where do they put the bronze statue of Dan.
I hope we can win it all but every team wants it just like us let’s go ducks 🦆
Just an aside, former Oregon player Cliff Harris coined the term Natty during the 2010 season. Now everyone uses it
does not mean much compared too years in the past if it had happened.[ oregon ].

Love your take but I believe Oregon plays Tennessee! Why are we discounting Tennessee
I don't wanna hear any of this crap. Oregon is 100% dialed into the next GAME. THERE IS NO CHAMPIONSHIP. There is only the Rose bowl. The next team.
Dang don't count tennesee out
he isn't he saying what if
Ruling Tennessee out that boldly might be a mistake.

Dan Lanning is obviously a top-tier coach, but Oregon obviously will not win a natty with a lefty quarterback this year
@@Foggydidwhat how is that obvious? Do you have a crystal ball or are you back from the future?
Ridiculous argument.
He's nearly unanimously regarded as the best QB in the Playoff.
Tebow and Tagovailoa were leftys btw
Now that college football is all about who has the most money… Who cares.. It’s ruining college football
No Natty, ever ever hasn't been done and not this year
Roll tide !
...right into the ocean.
Not even in the playoffs. SMU says thanks for not showing up against Oklahoma

Yes, in Oregon we have all the tides..high , low and in-between. Only an hour drive from Eugene.
