Go cry somewhere else.
Here’s your problem - Indiana feels SHUNNED by ND. For years, Indiana has been asking to play Notre Dame, and the princess Domer have always refused. Indiana beats Notre Dame by 3 touchdowns, maybe 4.
The problem is when a team like Georgia feels like they are being disrespected it makes them pissed and they play to their abilities. We don't want Georgia's A game. I'd settle for a their B game.
Clemson still has as much talent as just about anyone and a coach with a lot of playoff experience. Wouldn't pick them to beat TX, but it wouldn't surprise me to see them win a couple games either. Also, I wouldn't be too surprised to see an upset in any of the other first round games and think TN wins. So, two upsets is possible.
Clemson has talent there’s no doubt about it. They also have a lot of injuries and a lack of depth at some of the skill positions with that being said Texas is not been firing on all cylinders offensively and I do see a scenario where Clemson would have a chance to win the game, I also don’t think against top level defense they can consistently move the ball. And this is no disrespect to Clemson in anyway when you watch the second half of the SMU game, they struggle to really put drives together and yes, SMU is a good team. I actually think SMU is a better team than Clemson. I just think Clemson did what a good championship team does and takes advantage of their opportunities. Played about the worst half you could play and credit to Clemson for taking advantage of it jumping out quickly, but as you saw it, SMU make adjustments. Clemson became less and less effective now and all fairness to them. They do have a running back so they lost some of the run game and they do have some other injuries, but my point is that I don’t believe that SMU defense is better than Texas defense and I think Clemson is going to struggle to consistently move the ball. That being said Texas has been very poor on offense, some of it predicated by the ankle injury that Ewers has . Well, I don’t believe that Clemson will be Texas if Texas can’t muster any congruent offense then Clemson may have a shot at winning that game.. I think for Clemson to win the game though they’re gonna need Texas to turn the ball over and they’re going to need better field position against the Texas defense, which is very good
My upsets are Clemson beats Texas. ASU is another potential upset generator. The national media is unaware of just how good ASU has been playing down the stretch. ASU has beat 4 top 25 teams to get in and win the Big XII. Skattebo is godlike at RB and is only behind Jeanty nationally. ASU has a very talented young QB who hits all his passes and does not turn the ball over. ASU has a very experienced and effective offensive line and a defense that reliable generates turn overs. Their defense can slip verse the pass at times being their weakness.
The thing is tennessee has 0 pressure on them and ohio state has alot of pressure from their respective fan bases. I think ohio state buckles and tennessee take advantage and win a close game.
"A lot of fodder in this tournament" Hard disagree. There's more parity this year than ever before in college football history. There are no great teams this year, only a lot of fairly good teams. I’ll take GA because their bracket looks very beatable. But I’m going Oregan or Ohio st at the other end Don’t know why Texas is favored to beat GA despite losing to them repeatedly 😂
And how many times have you picked against ND, Josh? They've lost a lot more starters than Georgia has, but they have also rallied around who they have and have been on a mission since their loss to NIU. They may not win it all, but you have to use the same rationale that you did for Georgia. I also think you are looking at star ratings as opposed to development of slightly lesser players who have been coached into higher star rankings. As an example, Xavier Watts was nowhere near a five-star out of high school, but I'd take him over any other five-star in the country at his position. And how many teams do you think would try to grab Jeremiyah Love in a heartbeat if he entered the portal? My guess is every single one of them.
Georgia has more talent, is better coached, more postseason big game experienced and battle tested as SEC champions. Don’t you have a marching band to go watch?
@@JTH-hm8ew More talent is debatable. ND's defense is better. So is their running game. Georgia has trouble with running QBs. Better coached, maybe. I think ND has the better coordinators. @detectif1061 tbf they've been on a hot track all year so not surprised they were favored. Clemson is still a real solid team that could possibly go into quarter finals if Texas uses ewers

How about a team with no regular season loses in 3 years, #1 ranked at the time, lost to a ranked Bama team by only 3 points and then get left out of the playoffs to play a "galvanized" FSU team they smashed by 60 points. Go cry somewhere else.

No doubt, Texas cannot blow anyone out the water… 24-17 Clemson
Do not sleep on ASU
Don't count out Texas if they play to there capabilities they can roll right into nt game and I suspect they will if Manning plays

Notre Dame out of nowhere….😉👊🏻🏈
@@brucetucker4847 Bye week is an excellent team. Haven't lost a game all year.
Lord have mercy, Josh Pate has finally learned the lesson. Every time you bet against the dynasty, you come up short. Well done sir.
Dude, your picks are too safe -how about ranking upsets
You should make a college football show and then do that

@@deepfornoreasonx lol what?
Clemson will beat Texas. Ewers has proven to be ineffective against good teams. The guy has one (ONE!) big win in 3 years as a starter at a top 10 program loaded with talent around him. He can’t stretch the field, as he doesn’t have the arm to strike downfield and isn’t a running threat. Very one-dimensional.
I would love to see Texas and Georgia play again without SEC referees.
Trust me, Georgia would love to play Texas again. lol
Still blaming refs. When all else fails lmfao
Im tired of playing Texas...next!🫎⬇️
Maybe make field goals and teach your QB to not suck ass and run for more than 1.1 YPC. Won't matter, you'll still be here crying, it's a Texas specialty.
The SEC refs are the only reason the first game was even close.
Good job! Out on a limb, but you made the ending of the story superbly suspensful.
Well Done! Great Analysis. Go Dawgs! UGA has resiliency as a DNA trait!
Incredible analysis to choose the higher seed in all but one game
You can down play Oregon all you want but you'll be wrong Josh.
I think most people honestly have georgia and Oregon for the natty.
ND will beat Georgia.
Are you trying to be a comedian?
@JTH-hm8ew nope
So, he picks every favorite thru to the semis. Then it comes down to B10 vs SEC and big shock, he picks both SEC teams. I didn't need to even watch it to call this, but would've guessed he picked TX to win.
Go Ducks 🦆🦆🦆🦆🦆🦆🦆
That's depressing: Texas vs. Georgia three times in one year? Any two teams playing three times in the same year is dumb.
Texas is NOT beating Oregon 😂
That game would be in Dallas. Not the ultimate deciding factor, but that'll be huge for the Longhorns.
@@oconnor9sean Just keep adding on those miles for the Ducks lol.. At least the Rose bowl is kind of a home game lmao.. They still gotta travel like 900 miles to get to LA. At least it's in the same damn time zone..
They are very capable of beating Oregon with the proper coaching and QB
Pate is fully steering into the troll-job on behalf of the SEC 😂
No one's running through Georgia? You must've forgotten the great powerhouses of Umass and GT bud,
Did they win? A shootout/ close game is not getting ran through.
@@WilliePete_Gaming nope. but the fact they let Umass run for 130 in the first half is embarrassing,
@@GavinSchmavin44they then proceeded to win the SEC holding Texas to 30 yds 💀
GT beat themselves. They had the dawgs in the 4th quarter. What a game.
@@BurtonGuster57 yeah, that’s what happened 😂 I love it, Georgia keeps winning tight games with stout red zone defense and everyone says the same thing, “(insert team name) beat themselves, they had Georgia”. Cool story.
Came to the same final 4, albeit with a slightly different final 8. I see Tennessee & SMU winning, but wouldn't be shocked to be wrong on those.
Texas will win the entire bracket because they are the best team in the country with the most experienced and skilled roster in the country
Gotta get past Georgia first
I don't see that happening. They gotta go through Oregon or Ohio State first. Even if they make the natty, they would probably have to beat UGA in the championship game and I don't think they can
So how come this experience and skill isn't turning into touchdowns against what you're inferring is an inferior Georgia team, twice?
@@nateisinvincibleeverybody keeps saying they have to go through Ohio State like Ohio State is going to beat Tennessee. They aren't and when they don't I'm going to come here and remind you they didn't.
Doubtful pass protection is weak and Ewers not good enough
The fact that you have a “pulse” on Georgia, actually exposes that you either don’t listen or don’t have a beat!
As long as Oregon fails to get a title each year, I'm happy with the results.
How in the hell could Texas be a 2.5 point favorite over georgia who has already beat them twice. I've got georgia and Oregon
