Dad chewing gum to hold back paternal pride... Then, around 4:00 son really hammers down...Dad is very happy after and smiles to reveal paternal pride!! **** Nice video guys! **** It makes me miss my '87 Turbo-T!!
Thanks for the great weekend. I enjoyed hanging in the shop (thanks Ryan). Saw Martin, George and met Nick, Donny and Johndoc 😀. The car show at Myrtle beach was terrific and had a fun time with Dave and Jeff too. The ride in the Buick was awesome. Need to do it again soon.
Needs some suspension tweaking at the rear to stop the hopping. Should be able to adjust that out. May want to start by just putting a little weight from the front in the rear of anything can move.
Car is totally awesome!! Good thing your father had the gum to chew on cause he was killing it. Those darn Mickey Thompson tires lmao dad like sure son whatever you say!!
Very Good video, have you scaled the car? We run 52/48 113" w/b . 2010lb 436sbc single dominator with Glide had 1.14 sixtys Never ran more than 5lb's in 14/32 D1 an always had Bite
.......I've taken advantage of every single amateur opportunity I could find with regards to honing my natural, GOD given skill set while being fortunate enough to be properly instructed and taught by actual professionals and those qualified to instruct those with vehicles (2014 Roush Stage Phase 3 and a 2014 Shelby GT500 super snake with 700hp. What's the number one rule? Both hands on the wheel at all times between down shifting and upshifting. I see this dude and I immediately think, it's only a matter of time before he wraps a car around a tree or phone pole. It's too bad. It really is. Unfortunately, it's no different when I was weightlifting....there are those people who were taught proper lifting mechanics and accepting their body's limitations and than there are those who are just that arrogant and ignorant.
Hahaha.that look imon he's face when you feel like hitting for more speed but you can't.could only do so much in the neighborhood... Go to the desert hwy.straight away for miles...if i was you.. Just troopers to look after...
Smoking buick car. I have a 84 olds Calais with 235 45 17 on yearone 17*8 rims all around. I'm considering going 255 40 17 in the rear. What do you think? Thanks
Enjoy every second you can with your dad. I wasn't lucky enough to be able to take my dad for a ride in my camaro once I got it put back together and on the road. He passed away a month and a half to soon. We all have busy lives but always remember that time is the most valuable thing in life.
Evil Opti Z you beat me to it my pops passed in the middle of my build (almost the same as his Buick) and ide give anything to have him in the shot gun seat. Everyone who still has the bond of these two need to realize how blessed they are. Really nice vid here
Same with my grandfather who was like a dad to me... I had 99' tahoe he wanted to project build but never took him serious and now that he passed and I sold the tahoe I deeply regret it all. The stuff some of us take for granted...
Actually if he plans to keep it one the street its better to just skip the cage. Weight has nothing to do with it. A cage is intended for the user to be wearing a helmet. On the street if your even in a low speed accident with a caged car and your head hits the bars then it may be game over. Yes, a properly built cage will be close enough head can hit it even buckled in.
that was cool. you can see that your dad was analyzing the ride until you let her rip, then that big 'ole smile happened. that's when you knew he was having fun. i love your channel. it's what i'd call a honest channel. keep up the good work Jeff.
Your Pap did a great job maintaining his pokerface, Looked so serious for awhile that you cats looked like bank robbers test driving a new getaway car! Great video, keep em coming...
I have a feeling your dad is a real gearhead, it took a bunch to make him smile/impress him.. Awesome. Enjoy all the time with him you can. I didn't, and it's a shame I'm burdened with forever.
I think your dad would enjoy a ride in my 2018 RS6 Avant 4ltr V8 Klasen tuned to 900 hp It really hauls ass 189 mph on track day probably could of gone faster but ran out of real estate !!! 🚙💨
I had that problem with my grand national ate through a set of $400 a piece Mickey Thompson Street drags In less than 200 miles. I moved over to 295/ 50 15 Cooper Cobra GT's.
Every time i see your car in a thumb, It brings me back to the 90's to my 1st ride (a 1984 Cutlass) It did the G body shuffle but in no way like yours :) would have murdered a church full of nuns to have had your ride back in the 90's as that thing is a pavement killer for sure.
pops didn't look happy until the smoke started rolling lol beautiful ride man..im doing a 78 monte..full fame off restomod..lq4/4l80e, single turbo.. can't wait until it's done..goal is 700, and while I have a set of mt's, you got me rethinking that decision lol

Just a man in his day..

I WISH I COULD LEAVE MY "GARAGE" DOOR OPEN WHEN I LEAVE THE HOUSE AND HOPE MY SHIT DOESN'T GET STOLEN!
Haha as soon as the hp kicked in the smile kicked in hell yea haha
Damn wish I had that engine in my WS6!! Badass!!!
Looks like a scene from Bullitt with the 2 guys in the charger chasing Steve Mcqueen, was waiting for his dad to pull out the shotgun
Cool but I would liked the camera looks toward the hood :p as we can see to what you are rollin
Your dad enjoyed every little bit of it

What is your set up in the white regal?
I can tell ya soften the back spring rate a bit .
Too much tire pressure need to drop them down about 18 lb
Great car bro but in my opinion those should only be painted black cause then I start thinking of monte carlo's otherwise
Howell, Mi. in the house! I love your Buick! One of my favorites.
I spent some time in Howell. About 30 min from where i grew up
Awesome get some suspension done dont keep blaming the tires. Guys are putting 3000 hp on 275 drag radials. Get suspension figured out

You can tell he was dying to smile but played it cool for the camera.
Whenever my dad rides with me he still acts like I'm still 15 and trying to get my license. I drive a damn SEMI.... LOL
I wish my dad was still around to cruise with me in my modded 95 Camaro Z28. He passed in 91. Cherish those moments with your pops my brother.😊
My dad was the best and I miss him every day. Cherish every single moment and never take it for granted.
Dad seems cool. He's not very impressed. But he does look like he's proud of his son .
Your dad clearly owned a 900hp or more vehicle back in his day.😂
Montrail Miller lmfao I said the same thing he probably got a hellcat
Right
Was thinking same thing.
Clearly needs to drive this ;)
Everybody from Michigan is into cars. It is still the car capital.
Men of few words but there facial expressions say it all hahaha
got a small grin out of him- awesome!
get a cage in that buick- for your own safety please
Actually if he plans to keep it one the street its better to just skip the cage. Weight has nothing to do with it. A cage is intended for the user to be wearing a helmet. Awesome!!! made me what to go fast in my power wheels 😂
Talk to much 😂
LOL
Cars and high power always put a smile on the face 👍
rear diff ratio seems a bit tall, Not hooking up. peak HP seems to come on at high rpms. reduce gearing. less burn outs. Nice ride.
No point of having 800 HP if you can't break 50 without losing traction. MONTE CARLO RULZ
Ps car is sick bro looking like dad was having a great time much love be safe in that monster👌✌
Your dad seems hella cool!

It really hauls ass 189 mph on track day probably could of gone faster but ran out of real estate !!! 🚙💨
You should do Turbo Regal UBER videos like Paul (from the Family Crusin Network) did Hellcat UBER with his Hellcat Challenger.
That's the baddest Buick on the planet 👍🇺🇸
