As the salaf's say even if you're the only one on the TRUTH then you're the jāmaā. May Allāah protect and preserve you Abu Muqbil and every salafi (sunni) upon the TRUTH.
The host should've asked him what is Sunnah? From my little knowledge about what is Sunnah is, it's what our Prophet(SAW) says, does and see people doing it and didn't condemned it or advised them how to do it even if he didn't do it himself, so if Prophet(SAW) saw it and even advised the woman how to do it then it's Sunnah, this is with regard to his statement that it's not Sunnah.

Who gave him the right to speak against what the prophet made permissible? Who ? We hear and obey and we recommend any of the teachings of prophet, be it compulsory or recommended even if we are not going to do it but we will never speak against a recommendation or what the prophet made permissible.

عجيب أمرك تخرجت من كلية الحديث، ولم تعرف سنة تقريرية، لو سلمنا جدلا أن الأحاديث ليست صحيحة، ولكن قرر النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم وهل الذي أقر النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم ليس من السنة عند أهل الحديث؟
كيف تجزم أن المسألة مستحبة أو عادة فقط،
تَنطعت في الكلام حتى نسيت سنة تقريرية، أنت تبدي جهلك.
