Actually one of the best tutorials I've seen on yt. Well explained while being not too long, or too short. Good structuring too, I like the tease that you include in the title panes for each section, which kinda lets you know what to expect, but also doesn't ruin the experience. You've definitely earned a sub from me and I look forward to your upcoming videos!
I need more gothic hardcore stuff in my life, I was sad that I know most songs of all the artists you mentioned, I hope this video encourages someone to make more gothic hardcore music!
I love this. I've been a big fan of this style of music for awhile, even making a mix of it. Now I can get into making my own track which is something I've been wanting to do for awhile now. Thank you for the video!
Idk if this is a byproduct of mixing genres to fight boredom of modern music or AI excelling at more generic music so people have more incentive to be more creative than ever, and i certainly don't even listen to this type of music, but i am so happy that new generations of internet prods are still finding ways to make unique niche music. Definitely gonna learn and implement a lot of stuff i've seen from this channel and similar!
Nice tutorial for one of my favorite genres. The vital patch lead is also a live saver as I struggled with making a lead when trying to make my own music (it's perfect, just what i needed) 👍
ohhh yeah something i wanna add is i notice in some hc ren songs they sorta "blue balls" the actual drop. i notice there are many mini drops/build ups that lead to each other and then finally lead to the real drop of the song

Really nice video bro, i have always wanted to create music and i need to do it before i die so, how do you recommend to learn the software? is i there any special advice to someone really wants to enter the edm music producer world?
hi gerardo ! thank you for the kind words ^^ it's really exciting to hear that you wanna start making music !!!! my first piece of advice is to just use any tutorial to learn how to use fl studio - don't worry about looking for the best one, because they all talk about similar stuff.. however I recommend a channel called 'In The Mix' - he has lots of amazing videos and a playlist for people new to the software -> ua-cam.com/video/pDIsEZsalAo/v-deo.html after that point, it's really about playing around and taking what inspires you (for me personally its music from the label MEGAREX and orchestral VGM) to encourage you to make music. the first year or 2 is the most enjoyable to make music as every one of your songs will be better than the last !!! my last piece of advice is that there's no way to 'get professional' quick, and as long as you keep enjoying it, don't worry about views or listen numbers :D if you use discord im in a community of musicians who are very beginner friendly that you can get helpful feedback from. my discord is 'tnky' if you have any questions :)
nice one. I'd love to a fulll, in-depth tutorial on how to make chord progressions like that. (STARTS at 1:16 - ua-cam.com/video/OOf2dX1TuIM/v-deo.html)
About the chords video... I mentioned a few videos ago that I would make a video on how I make chords... I have sat down to try and make the video but I haven't been able to come up with 'one trick' or an 'easy method' on making them... in reality, nothing can beat listening to music and understanding music theory (intervals, cadences, chords etc.). The videos I made gave an impression of restricting your creativity to specific chord progressions! I can offer some tips however!... 1. Use chord extensions (7th, 9th) 2. Start with the bassline! A lot of songs in the genre use a similar bassline which uses chromatic steps and 2-5-1 movement 3. Study common chord progressions (4-5-3-6 and 4-5-6-3 are probably the most common) A good exercise is just to copy the chord progression from a song you like; you can do this by listening for the bottom note, then checking if the chord sounds minor then major, then adding notes for extensions etc. Hope this helps-
I was using a plugin called 'Analog Lab V' which is a paid plugin, however you can get a very similar sound using an amazing free orchestra plugin called 'BBC Symphony Orchestra' and choosing the string section >:) !!
Hi there, The vengeance drum packs are super good for this genre!! You can find the free downloads online by searching :0 Aethral also made a good free pack for hardcore www.toneden.io/aethral/post/aethral-hardcore-sample-pack-vol-1 you should definitely check it out!!

yes definitely !! most of the sounds are possible with MiniSynth as they are mostly simple (they are a sine sub bass, saw bass, detuned unison saw lead and supersaw stack as the main sounds alongside piano). I think you should be able to copy most the sounds :) You can find some good drum sample packs online; I recommend searching for KSHMR and VENGEANCE sample packs :) if you have any questions please feel free to ask !!
