Bass Player might have something to say about it. The musicianship on this album is absolutely next level. If they can come close to reproducing this live? Sheeeeeesh.
"777" songwriters: Bruno Mars, Anderson .Paak, D'Mile, and Brody Brown Producer: Bruno Mars Vocals, guitar, percussion: Bruno Mars Vocals, drums: Anderson .Paak B3 organ, backing vocals: D'Mile Bass: Brody Brown FYI: Andy played drums on all the records except "Smokin Out The Window" which was done by Homer Steinweiss
777 is my favorite of the non-single songs. I think Skate is my favorite overall but I need a couple more listen throughs. Keep in mind every single song is amazing and 777 being my favorite is by a very slim margin.
Every cut on this album stands on it's own, and can't really be compared to one another This album is in a class by itself and can't even be rated. It's like something that is PRICELESS!!!🎉🎉🎉🎉
Soul Brother #1 is up in heaven, dancing to this one. It was James Brown who gave Bootsy Collins his big break, so im sure it was Extra magical, seeing how much respect and homage Andersen and Bruno are paying to JB.
This song definitely got paid at their Vegas shows. And maaaaannn….that shit was CRAAAZY!!! They came in hard and strong and it can only be hard while being played in Vegas. Definitely feels like you can take Vegas.
I don't know why. But this is one of my favorite song in their album. A total happy Vibe! I don't even gamble and i hate Vegas (but will definitely go for their concert) but other than that will not.
If anyone has ever listened to Fela Kuti, the tracks 777 and fly as me have the same energy as many of his songs. Maybe its the wind section and the drums; not to forget the bass. perfection
Fight The Power Isley Brothers was so big for me because they said bulls*+ in the song in the 70’s 😂😂 a couple more too that I can’t name but I would have been rocking this in the 70’s cuss words and all.
@@regimethegreat4092 I was thinking it has that punch of " I Got that Feeling" or "Get on the Good Foot" where you feel just have to move some part of your body.
This NOT just straight 70’s. As someone who was a teenager in the 70’s, this is 70’s with a 2021 swag. True story, the 70’s sound is even deeper, even more complex, has got even more layers than they’re referencing. They could make 9 more albums and still only touch a fraction of what was going on musically during that time.
I would say this is their "worst" song, which means absolutely nothing because this shit *absolutely slaps.* If this is the low point, we've got nothing to worry about.
So weird, this is my favourite track, the energy is just next level. I hope they leave it as an album track. I would love to see the live performance, the vocal delivery is exceptional.
@@cm9241 I feel like their worst song is Skate. Not because it’s bad but bc it probably did the worst out of all of them. If Skate is the worse song then they got really made a classic album bc Skate is 🔥 🔥🔥
This is once in a lifetime album
fr
Can definitely see this track playing at the beginning of a heist movie set in Las Vegas (à la Ocean’s Eleven)
Def gave me Oceans movies too.
I think this is the only song on the album that wouldn’t seem out of place on Bruno’s 24k magic album
Or Anderson Oxnard
Puts me in the mind of Perm and I'm tooooootallly here for it!
YESS !! as soon as I heard this song it reminded me of perm lmao , which ofc, is a bop
Thats so true.
And Anderson"come down"
This album is collaboration of three individuals, Bruno, Andy and the drum set 😂💖
Yeah Anderson's drumming is definitely the third member haha
Bass Player might have something to say about it. The musicianship on this album is absolutely next level. If they can come close to reproducing this live? Sheeeeeesh.

Album of the year for me to
Love the energy of this one
Album of the Year for sure. Song of the Year for Leave the Door Open.
This is well funky ...absolutely brilliant ...loving the journey with you thanku so much love and God bless x
This song definitely got paid at their Vegas shows. And maaaaannn….that shit was CRAAAZY!!! They came in hard and strong and it can only be hard while being played in Vegas. Definitely feels like you can take Vegas.
This would be a crazy video! 🔥🔥🔥
I wonder do they even understand what the reactions have been to this album. Did they even foresee how well this would be received?
7-th track of the album
7-boeing 777
7-jackpot 777
777 is Jackpot, little note Bruno has big shows in December in Vegas, and BooTsy :)
I'm definitely going to need a live drum solo from Anderson on this track as well as fly as me
I can hear a remix of 777 & 24K Magic where switching back & front with Anderson .Paak in it
Fly as me is better but 777 is not a miss for sure
I don't know why. But this is one of my favorite song in their album. A total happy Vibe! I don't even gamble and i hate Vegas (but will definitely go for their concert) but other than that will not.
Notice the Red Hot Chilly Peppers reference on 3:44! (Give it away give it away give it away now)
Ohio players
ENERGY!!! 🔥🔥🔥
I just thought it’s funny that this song is the 7th track on the tracklist
This track is a massive homage to James brown . I would say it was more 70s .
If anyone has ever listened to Fela Kuti, the tracks 777 and fly as me have the same energy as many of his songs. Maybe its the wind section and the drums; not to forget the bass. perfection
i could see the video in the casinos of Vegas! so fun! 🔥❤️🎶
This is absoluely 70’s. James brown vibes for sure
Fun fact. I was in Las Vegas when this album dropped haha
Another banger!!!
Fight The Power Isley Brothers was so big for me because they said bulls*+ in the song in the 70’s 😂😂 a couple more too that I can’t name but I would have been rocking this in the 70’s cuss words and all.
Giving me bruno Mars - Perm vibes
yess !!! that was exactly my first thought !
I think it's fun 777 adds up to 21. Might've been intentional
Not necessarily i think its towards those machines in casinos when you hit a 777 thats jackpot.
@@unkownboi67is_unavailable62 I definitely I agree. It was more I found it ironic and maybe a bit convenient since it dropped this year😊
@@alanaduran9045 and coincidentally 21 is also the best score in blackjack, which would fit with the theme of the song
@@Oeugh 🤯 so many levels
It's really quadruple 7. 7th song of the album 777
After Last Night is my fave so far 🔥 greetings from New Zealand 💯🤘
Damn! I am the only person that's thinking of James Brown while listening this.
Facts!!! The beginning of this track has a "Hot pants" vibe and the call and response is definitely paying homage to James Brown.
@@regimethegreat4092 I was thinking it has that punch of " I Got that Feeling" or "Get on the Good Foot" where you feel just have to move some part of your body.
Yes. James Brown all over this track.
let's catch that Southwestern and let's go!
I said the same thing. That’s a Lenny kravitz sounding guitar sound.
Psych B! Let’s go to Vegas!💥💥💥🔥🔥
Triple entendre because if you are playing craps you could keep winning big by rolling 7 back to back to back
Waiting for Edgar Wright to use this in a film.

it's 2021 it won't ever capture the same essence with the improvement in technology
I would say this is their "worst" song, which means absolutely nothing because this shit *absolutely slaps.* If this is the low point, we've got nothing to worry about.
I said that at first.. but it was because of the contrast switch… but after more listens…. It was nice
Totally agree!! This is my least favorite on an album full of nothing but FAVORITES!! ❤️❤️❤️👍🏻
So weird, this is my favourite track, the energy is just next level. I hope they leave it as an album track. I would love to see the live performance, the vocal delivery is exceptional.
Not even close to their worst

love it!
I need to get back to Vegas
Ayo Ernest, it's "Bootsy", not "boosty" 😆😂
😂😂
Thanks bruh. Can’t be disrespecting Bootzilla.
If Superbad was made today, this would be the intro song lol. This track just gives me "beginning of a comedy movie" vibes. Or a Tony Hawk game lmao
Watching people who know nothing about music try to comment on the "harmony" lmao
#PycheB+#*!WeGoinToVegas
Needs to be on some merch ASAP
Bruno tryna rap lol. Andy saved this from being just ok
This is Bruno's track that Andy joined, I was shocked when I saw the credits but it's true.
This track has a James Brown vibe… play JB he was out of his time.. (big payback)
777 definitely isn't a 10/10 .....
But,...but....it's a dam funky vibe...I can see it being used on a series or film about vegas
Think it’s a 10! I’ve been playing it every time I’ve gotten in my car since the album dropped! It’s 🔥
@@cherylreeder8369 lol true same here
Yes definitely a 10, not at first but now it's turning to be my best ex-aequo with Fly as me
1 month later, 777 is the only song that I run in a loop when I get in my car :-D
Play it in my car to work. Love it!
777 is probably the weakest track and it's still a hit
