I think it would be more balanced if the three base drones merge into Stu, and then you can afford to make Stu a bit more powerful, without really making the character too op. I would also keep the base drones hp low when your not using them; so that when you are controlling them, they have a boosted amount of hp, and when your not, they aren’t as overwhelming for the enemy team.
Can you elaborate on how they would be busted? I am thinking about making a update video with the skin ideas once I get art for those done and feedback on how others perceive this character is much appreciated :D
@@tidxbit63 Base Kit Problems: How supps get value is by sustaining their teammates and themselves. By increasing their uptime, you exponentially increase their value and output. With proper cooldown management, this character could effectively live forever, especially if you place the 2 bots you aren't using in a safe place like a rocket beacon. This is why Rocket's beacon had to be nerfed from 3 revives with self revive included and also why Kiriko's suzu alone keeps her perma-meta. This is also why the triple support meta is so dominant, and why if this was added - we could even get a quadruple support meta because of her being able to take a slot of another role without losing any value. Also, not getting killcam information is not a tradeoff at all because good players will always know where the enemy team is, keep track of their ultimates, and also you aren't supposed to really die at all if you can help it on support. Wendy Problems: By having to rely on your teammates to remove CC, you effectively remove all interactivity from the targeted player - removing their ability "from the grid". Instantly destroying terrain is insanely busted. The game is currently balanced in a way that different terrain has different health because what's most important in such a high ttk game is natural cover because it's essentially a 100% damage reduction where you only need to give up your LOS. Impacting movement speed is insanely hard to balance, due to it fundamentally impacting every single statistic. This is why Lucio, Mantis, Sage, Mei, Slow on Hit, Symetra, Ramatra, etc see so many changes to their speed boost. Mo Problems: The reason Iron Man's shift is on a cooldown is because it provides insane sustain and survivability for himself. By giving this to a support with minimal cost, it's easily exploitable and will create too much uptime, especially since her primary fire's heal lingers. She can essentially heal while being effectively invincible. Sunny Problems: Stealth mode is literally permainvis Sombra if she had burst damage, which is insanely insanely busted because how Sombra was supposed to be balanced was by having her primary fire do DOT, giving the target and their team time to react - (placing interactivity "back on the grid") Her E is useless, good players always keep track of these things. The only reason why Widowmaker's ultimate is good at all is because it showcases the entire enemy team for a certain duration passively while also not having a range limit. Stu Problems: I know you said unlimited ultimates are something you are open to changing, but this is exactly why Rammatra had to get his infinite ult taken out. Each infinite ult whether it be bucky or rammatra has some sort of tradeoff, a condition that must be maintained to continue using their ultimate. Even with these tough conditions and tradeoffs, it was still too much and Rammatra's ult was still too broken. GRAB is like jeff's ultimate. It doesn't feel good to lose interactivity, even if it's inherently helping you. -A GM player and game design enthusiast
All in all - a good character to look at for inspiration would be Skopos from Rainbow 6, even though vast changes would have to be made due to the extreme difference in gameplay between a tactical shooter and hero shooter.
Great job!
Omg, Echo with extra steps 🤗
Add Slapstick to Marvel Rivals
Maybe next time
@tidxbit63 Maybe next Thursday
This is the last character I would have thought could be added to the game, but you made it work well. Good job. 😁👍
Thank you so much! :D
It might be simpler to have it be like clock and dagger where they are the same character just with modes

Whoah only 500 views what?!?
Aye das me, your local blue Kitsune
Glad to help :3c
First. Hi Marshy.
I'm calling cheats, there's clearly some shenanigans at hand
good creativity but holy fucking shit this character would suck to play against and be way too busted
