I've discovered a great life hack for keeping track of the date. What I do is wait until I wake up, then just add 1 to the previous date. Then at the end of the month I just start at 1 again. Now you know the secret too there is no reason to ever compromise another beautiful watch design with a superfluous date window.
You buy Seiko today for their dials, original designs and heritage. Not specs, price or value. I have about three Seiko's I want to get but they are older iconic designs not their newer ones. Btw love my Phoibos Eagle Ray with orange dial that fades to black at the edges.
I have this Phoibos with Aventurine dial (no date) - I just had to have it... 😀 Price: without "early release" discount the price would be too much for me, I would probably go for something from San Martin or Sugess/Seestern. One note from me - I would like to have the white paint till the end of the tip on minute hand; when I set up precise time, it is a bit difficult to see if it points exactly at small minute markers (yes, my eyes are not as good as they used to be). Precision: it seems to run +16s per day, consistently - maybe I will find some watchmaker and pay for the regulation. I will give this watch some more time to "adapt".

SEIKO should keep on making movements - and let watchmaking for the adults
anything beats seiko
Not bad at all. SEIKO are pricing themselves out of the market, making way for microbrands to explode
seiko sucks unless you like stamped clasps, mineral glass, misaligned bezels and chapter rings. their watches are too chunky anyway. stay classy seiko
@zillsburyy1 I See you really "like" Seiko 😂👍 Thank you for watching!
@@ShinyThings because they are iconic or better yet infamous i only have one of them in my collection

The price is good for the quality you're getting
Yes, although I think eventually we will reach market saturation on imitation diver watches regardless.

I like this watch I am a Phoibos fan at this moment I have 4 in my collection but I think this one is a little to expensive for me.👍
Bring it down tp 100m WR and cut a millimeter off that caseback and get the watch down to 11mm or less thick.
