    More science is needed, but meanwhile: The anecdotal evidence and even the common sense is overwhelming that avoidance of ejaculation greatly improves the expression of testosterone in both body and mind (whether it be from more testosterone, more receptors, or whatever). As a practitioner of lasting semen retention, I've never felt more masculine, and I absolutely love it.

      In long term a men feel more masculine ...I think it is bcz of the raised TT levels...
      Study can't do nothing with this ..bcz it is impossible to find 100 or more men who are ready for a 3 or more months abstinence properly and correctly!
      So semen retention raise TT levels for sure in long term that's my theory but how much I'm not sure abt this

    I somehow start to believe that teaching people that masturbating is a good thing has some underlying reasons. I mean everyone feels the energy and the productivity while on nofap. Fappers are a easy deal for everyone, no self esteem, low confidence etc. Imagine all men would stop to fap, there would be an increase in crime and aggression.
    One thing is important to notice also: Its my experience, when you fapped a lot and suddenly stop fapping your body is not having enough receptors for the increased testosterone. The receptors need to build up and while there is unused testosterone in your body you might feel irritated or even more aggressive. It's important to keep yourself calm in this time because it's very easy to make wrong decisions in this situation. Maybe lifting weights can help here somehow to make yourself tired and build up more receptors faster then usual. Some also notice the flatline... maybe the body is downregulating testosterone because there are not enough receptors available. I believe there is something about the 90-100 day mark. Building enough receptors might need this time.

    On 7th day it increasses by 45%, but that is temporary, next shoot up comes on 34 th day where your testosterone level will rise by 15% and that is permanent increase, and next peak comes on between 100-120 days where your testosterone level rises up by as much as 56% permanently and that is why people find they have cured from many diseases once they do reach semen retention for over 100 days.

Excessive sex or masturbation. Semen is life force of men and in every ejaculation men lose their vitality.

    To my understanding, it's not just that you're body's recycling the testosterone that would have normally gone to waste, but that you're no longer dampening your androgen receptors with prolactin.
    Of course, retention/nofap by itself is not some sort of silver bullet.
    Lifestyle changes need to be made in order to get the most out of it.
    Quitting other bad habits, proper nutrition and supplementation,a stable sleep schedule, working out, etc.

      And yeah I forgot to mention I almost fell ill on the third day , i felt feverish and couldn’t study or do anything because my brain was thinking about fapping and eventually I gave up and fapped , after fapping I felt relieved and went to bed , all of the feverish feelings went away and my mind was back to normal, I could focus easily . That’s why I decided to go past 3 days this time and see if there is any benefits other than increased semen volume

    Fasting and moderate SR (7 Days) is the key that turns the lock. Im surprised that people havnt figured this out. Just do IF everyday and retain 7 days till the cows come home. And yes stay the hell away from porn for Gods sake.

    Guys just test it for yourself. Have your doctor order a baseline free test, total test. and shbg (sex hormone binding globulin) then take another one after 90 days of Nofap hardmode. see the difference for yourself.

      Cus there's been many studies from many countries that's proven that celibacy increases the bodies ability to use available testosterone. Fapping lowers the the bodies ability to use available testosterone. It can take 4 to 8 days for the body to reset and to start using the testosterone normally again. Spent about an hour digging through google searches and found atleast 5 human studies that came to this conclusion.

    Theres a study that said that the leves of testosterone nowadays are 60% lower that the ones in the 20 century, by doing no fap you reset your testosterone Level to the normal and that means to increase them in a 60%. Im not saying that your Level wont get even higher but the thing is that you dont need to be at the peak, just maintain your levels and you will have 60% more testosterone than every other person that is not doing no fap.

      @@spinelspinel9361 OK so I dont think that we have evolved a lot from 20 century, but If we have evolved to have lower testosterone levels, how can we know it if nobody stays more than 4 days without fapping and the main thing that make our testosterone is sperm. I mean your testosterone level could be 10 (max) but if you fap constantly your Level is 6 and if you never stay more than 1 week for example without fapping you will never reach the Level 10, never, you will always live having Level 6. So maybe in 20 century they fap less and so they have Level 8 and 10 max, but now we fap more and We are in Level 6 but if any person doesnt matter the century stayed a specific amount of time without fapping it will reach Level 10

      @@dariodediego24 No you are completely wrong about this my guy. It is semen that relates to all this testosterone changes right? This means that masturbation and sex will have the same physical effects on testosterone. We know for a fact considering the sheer amount of prostitution, brothels and necessity to have more children that people in the early 20th century had sex more than us. This would have the same physical effects as masturbation. So it cannot be that. It is most likely due to the fact that A) Smoking was incredibly common, this increases testosterone levels and B) Many people in the early 20th century worked in manual labour with farming and military service being very common. Exercise also increases testosterone especially if done during childhood.
      So to compare Men who had to do manual labour or starve with the average non-exercising man is absurd. If this study compared the testosterone levels of say modern Soldiers compared to 1900s soldiers or Modern manual labourers with 1900s manual laborers then It would be more believable. But this study seems to have not even taken into account occupation which makes it seem very poorly constructed.

      Celibacy increases the bodies ability to use testosterone. So many studies on this from many countries. The 7th day peak is from the lowered ability to use the testosterone so the body ramps up the testosterone to try and balance, but after day 7 everything resets and the body is processing testosterone properly again.

    I watched a video from the German UA-camr tomatolix, he did not fap for one month. His testosterone value starts at 4.7 mg, after one week he reached 6.2 mg, after one month the value rise to 7.2 mg. It's not a study but maybe a tendency.

    Someone needs to do a study where men decrease their estrogen levels (including the removal of all synthetic estrogens from any daily environmental exposure) to a healthy level (what it would be for a perfectly healthy man at 18). The participants of the study should be of multiple age groups (especially30+). And all of the participants should have at least 1 medical condition that is impacted by hormones. If society were to reveal the results of this study (most likely they'd hide some of it or manipulate it) then the best way to treat/cure 99% of diseases would drastically change.

      In my experience, it’s always been the opposite. Fapping has always caused a cortisol spike that lasts weeks. Makes me sleepy. Have to take more naps.
      As for the prostate, my long streak on no fall lasted 2 plus years. After, I started having Peegasms. Mainly stemming from a urinary issue that I’m being treated insure antibiotics.

      I see what you mean but they are not saing (icrease of 190%) but (value 190% of base line) if you look on the numbers day 1 - 370 ng/dL and day 7 - 560 ng/dL that’s almost a double.

    Thank you for the video, Rob. It would have been better to give an example of intersex people for instance. There are cases where a male baby is born but has some anomaly with the androgen receptors. They almost have none, and even though they have a penis, they develop as females, so to speak. This is because the testosterone produced by their testes cannot be utilized by their bodies, and as a result, they develop female features, such as wider hips and breasts.
    Also, it is a shame that there is no research on what happens with the testosterone levels of porn addicts when they abstain. It will be very different from someone that does not have this addiction.
    Keep pumping out those videos. Very helpful.

      Increasing T is meaningless if your body isn't processing it normally. After day 7 of celibacy the body has greatly increased it's ability to use the available T. Fapping decreases the bodies ability to process and use available T.

    What does an increase of 100% mean?? A doubeling? So an increase of 145.7% means an increase of roughly times 2.5?? Or is it just an increase of 1.5??

      It's an increase "to" and not an increase "by" 150%. That means 100% is baseline and 150% equals factor 1.5.

      For average person it can take 4 to 8 days for your body to start using the available testosterone normally again. The body will ramp up T production, right before it goes back to normal, as an attempt to correct the lowered ability to use the available T. For chronic fappers it can take up to 30 days for the body and brain to be chemically balanced.

    This actually ties into the 2000 year formula for masturbation. Age-7÷4=How often you should fap. So I am 37 and should be aiming for every 7.5 days. I have noticed increased energy and performance in the gym, but nothing major. I guess a small edge is better than nothing at all. I think that the greatest benefit is that I am finding better ways to spend my time.

Healthy masturbation is okay 👌🏼 if you’re doing the no fap lifestyle for long periods of time you can achieve a lot but if you’re involved in a high activity lifestyle then no fap lifestyle for months on end doesn’t help. again may be different for everyone but every 7-8 days is healthy. Maybe heal for 2 -3 months , improve your androgen receptors and then begin the healthy masturbation cycle 👌🏼 maybe find a partner and only engage in sex with them 👌🏼

      @@kolo_5705 testosterone increases desire to do socially rewarded activities or behaviors. So if you feel more energy, and desire to do things such as talk to people, exercise, talk to girls, behave more aggressively (not necessarily in a bad way), etc. Odds are testosterone has inceeased, or at least its effect on your system.
      Also, dont skip leg day, leg exercise releases growth hormones and testosterone. How much idk, but the more the merrier.

      Simply put yes. But the focus should be on how well the Testosterone is being used by the body. Fapping greatly decreases the bodies ability to process and use the available Testosterone. Around day 6 of nofap the T production ramps up to match the amount of T being used by the body. T "levels" go back to normal but more is being produced and used at a much faster rate than before. So the conclusion should be that nofap causes the body to both produce and use testosterone at a higher rate.
