I've been listening to your music since I was a kid, and am delighted to learn that not only do you have a youtube channel but you still actively upload to it! Thank you for all you do, Miss Fish. I'll be listening to you with my children and grandchildren, for space is wide and good friends are too few.
you continue to be one of the most fascinating people to read about and listen too and I wish I could shake your hand and get an autograph, you're a legend and I love your work.
Leslie your are truly amazing, I’d love to meet you someday, but for now I would like say thank you for all your wonderful music it has really helped me out and inspired me to make my own, I hope you are keeping well, you have many wishes of wellbeing from me over here in England
What a weird coincidence for the last week I was going though some of her music for something I was doing for the Con History Project and wondering if she was still acting and could contact her about her past and then this video pops up today. Funny how the universe works.
Thank you for sharing, ma'am! You've been a great inspiration to me since I was exposed to filk and I'm finding it fascinating to sit down and listen to the lore and wisdom of my favorite crazy old lady : )
Guten Abend, Gut Nacht, mit Rosen bedacht, mit Näglein bedeckt, schlupf unter die Deck. Morgen früh, wenn Gott will, wirst du wieder geweckt. My grandma sang that to us when my sister and I were young.
Your music was my gateway not just to filk, but to music in general-- 7-year-old me was singing Tomlinson and the Bandersnatch song to anyone who would listen (and made pretty much the kinds of friends you would expect). I can't thank you enough for all the joy and wonder your songs have brought me over the years. You're the best.
It is wonderful to see Leslie Fish! I first found Filk during the pandemic and was instantly hooked. My favorite song has always been "Faroeste Caboclo" which uses song to tell a heartfelt story, something that I had never seen before, so discovering a whole genre that is filled with songs that tell stories of sci-fi (my favorite book genre) was so great! I have an entire playlist with filk songs, most of which were sung by Leslie and actually made me cry.
Thanks for all the art you have done over the years. I would love to hear you play live one of these years. I discovered your music and Kipling kind of separately but together when I was a non-traditional undergrad in the 1990s.
I am so glad to see that, not just Leslie's music, but her stories are being saved. I think this needs to be done for a lot more folk and filk artists. Also, I really hope the story of how Leslie first collaborated with CJ Cheryh gets told.
You are one of the highest ranking human beings in the last 500 years. If only people with common sense, empathy, and a sense of fun were in the majority...
Your music brings me great joy thank you

Awww, thank you. Hmm, do you know anybody in central Arizona who'd like to adopt a very smart kitten?

Thank you for making such beautiful music. It helped me make it through a particularly bad part of my life, and I still listen to it regularly.

Good to see you still active! Hospital stays were a lot longer in the fifties than today. I was in the hospital for 10 days after an appendectomy.
Love all your work. Keep staying weird.
