God forbid he'd actually hit that child. Guess who would have got the blame. Same thing when parents push prams out at crossings. But how dare you accuse someone of bad parenting.
I once seen a child bounce off the side of a car the parent of the child didn't even notice the child had been hit and kept walking because she was too busy with her head in her phone. It was only when the driver got out and shouted the parent back when she realised and ran over in hysterics. Luckily the child was ok and only had a graze on her hand when she hit the floor. Thank god the driver seen her and hit the brakes in time i mean there was no way the driver could have avoided the child without hitting someone else but the fact the driver seen her quite possibly saved her a very bad injury or possibly even death as the child was only about 3.
2:50 When you forget that you're in England, so when you want to talk to the driver, you go to the left side of their car, when actually they are sitting on the right.
Clip 15, easily my favourite. As my mum would say, "He's hurrying up to stop." I hadn't realised that I'd been learning to drive with my mum (who wasn't an instructor by the way, just what I coinsider to have been good driver) while being a passenger in her car throughout my childhood. She always used to gear down on the approach to a set of lights. She used to talk to us about what she was doing and I always considered her style of driving to be very smooth and comfortable as a passenger (in 80s era cars no less!). When I did learn to drive, I surprised my instructor one day when instinctively I changed down when approaching a red, without him ever having taught me to do so. Seems Mr Red SUV never figured any of these things out. Too bad, poor him.
Metallic Hydrogen Why would you change down when stopping at a set of lights? Just clutch down a roll into the stop. There’s no point breaking early when you can leave it a little later.
@@tgk300xx4because, as I believe as evidenced in this clip, if you slow before you get there and are in the right gear should the light change... Off you go.
Metallic Hydrogen But if the clutch is down then you can just select the gear lift clutch with some gas and speed away. All that you are doing is increasing wear on your clutch but changing down pointlessly.
Niceguy At the end of the day the best way to do it is to just glide in with the clutch down and then creep very closely towards the lights. This then allows you to floor it away
The clip where the guy pulls over to calm down is my favourite, purely for the fact he did that. It shows that he is aware and has thought not only of himself but others he will then encounter on his journey. This simple act could be the difference in everyone getting to their destination safely and in one peice. Hats off to him.
It’s got to be clip 8 for me, well done for pulling in and we’ll done for showing it! A very close 2nd place to clip 15 I throughly enjoy showing people that maximum progress doesn’t mean maximum speed, progress is all about flow.
Marcus Gainey hell even in literal racing going fast as possible is rarely a good idea, go all out in an F1 car for example and you will just wear the tyres out so quickly that everybody passes you anyways
Clip 15 - I can't tell you the number of times this has happened to me. Guy overtakes, gets stuck at the light, I breeze past, guy is right back behind. Thanks for the upload, Ashley
It's clip 15 for me. It's always amusing when the speed limit isn't fast enough for the impatient driver behind you, and you get to re-pass them at the next set of lights :D
Definitely clip 15 is my fav, because i can relate to that everytime i drive, because I’ve got a black box so need to be really precise on the speed (have 0 issue going the speed limit anyway) great vid :)
@@antonycharnock2993 I've had a black box for my first two years of driving, and I only printed my own custom sticker despite not being required to just to give the message to other drivers that I couldn't push past the speed limit, or accelerate harshly like others around me did. After the first year I've taken it off as didn't see a point, also that not many other motorists had taken notice and still bully like they do today! I think it depends on which insurance provider you go for. Most insurance providers don't expect you to put their sticker on your car, but some will send one anyway in case you wanted to.
@@costascostas1760 I never had to but did anyway as a test to see if people understood, but I failed miserably. 😂 If I could go back I wouldn't bother now.
Actually, it will cause the car to overheat quicker. With the hood off, there is too much turbulence in the engine compartment and is slowing the airflow thru the radiator. The only time it helps is after the car is turned off to dissipate the engine bay heat quicker. Anyway, it looks like there is front end damage to the grill and core support; which might have caused the hood not to be able to latch; so they just took it off for safety reasons.
I saw somebody’s bonnet come open on the A404 once. I guess they didn’t latch it properly , the wind got under it and flipped it back against the windscreen. Fortunately, the driver managed to get safely to the side of the road.
Clip 8 is my favourite. Yes by all means swear to your hearts content when something inconvenient happens, but if your anger is going to affect your driving, pull over. The cammer did the right thing.
I had to do that once, just bought myself a brand new car and a woman nearly t boned me and got so angry at me even though I had priority, she didn’t look before pulling out. its what made me get a dashcam lol. Had to take a breather on the side of the road
Viewer clip 15 is my choice.. One of the things you clearly provide as a driving instructor/UA-camr is empathy for learner drivers because of how scary it can be.. Hats off to you Ashley!
Clip 15 - As an instructor myself I always stress the importance of not rushing to stop at red lights to my learners, and when things like this happen it’s very satisfying. Here I’d probably pull them up and talk about why the SUV reacted that way and discussed a ‘role reversal’ scenario perhaps, helping them know they did nothing wrong. Keep up the good work Ashley your channel is great.
2:50 The pedestrian walking out....it's a classic case of needing to keep your eyes peeled to look out for those who won't look out for themselves. If all road users looked out for themselves, things would be sweet, but pedestrians often don't, so riders/ drivers have to be extra vigilant. Which is what the HC says. My fave clip!
I’d say number 7 is my favourite, perfect speed and awareness, we can all learn something from this clip. The amount of people you see absolutely gunning it down roads similar to that is freighting, do they not care if they hit someone or is ignorance really that bliss?
For most people if they hit that guy they’d absolve themselves of all guilt because they “have priority”. Which is right, obviously the motorcyclist should look before emerging, but if you can save him from himself like the cammer did, then it’s the prerogative of any good driver to do so.
Clip 8 , definitely the best thing to do is to pull over , calm yourself down . When I had a black box it would dock me points for braking so if something like this happened I’d look on my app later that day and see my braking score as 0 for that day .... less points , less overall score , more you have to pay on insurance renewal.
the final clip is everything i hate about drivers on the road today. if someone brake checks, even if someone is too close behind, it immediately makes the issue 100 times worse and more dangerous. If you want to take exception to someone being that close behind you, just slow down gradually to prove the point, you lose all high ground and morality as soon as you slam those brakes on. Love the vids Ashley and thank you for your generosity in these hard times. stay safe pal.
Clip 3 is always an interesting one. I was always told that the pedestrian has priority in those situations be seriously, who steps out into the road without looking at all? Would be interesting to know how that conversation went.
The Italian roundabout clip, I'm not sure about Italy , but in Spain drivers are taught to go around on the outside lane without using any signal , they only are taught to signal when exiting. I live in Spain and did my driving test for the car here, I had a full motorcycle licence and actually found it difficult to unlearn the UK roundabout rules , but I did get my licence in the end. Great videos Ashley I really enjoy them and still learn a lot from them
Can't pick 1 favourite. I'll have all of the roundabout ones. Every time I leave the house I see at least one person that can't use a roundabout correctly and it's something that really gets to me, especially after nearly being wiped out by someone turning right from the left lane with no indication.
Clip 3. I'm very surprised the driver decided to continue that far forward as the pedestrian showed no intention of stopping even though he should have checked before crossing. Edit: Clip 15 is absolute gold as well!
For me CLIP 8, it's all too easy to become frustrated and then drive 'frustrated'. I applaud this guy for pulling over and taking some time, which I know isn't easy from experience!
Clip 15 is by far my favourite! It makes me so angry when you’re trying to learn how to drive and other people who have passed their driving test drive absolutely appallingly. I really don’t understand why you’d want to drive so carelessly. Careless driving puts innocent people's lives at risk. I think it is so funny when other drivers have tailgated, blocked or otherwise bullied other people in ways we wouldn't dream of doing in a face-to-face situation, such as standing in a queue. I also liked the clip where the guy walked out onto the road too, again I find it funny when someone accidentally walks into us on the street or their shopping trolley bumps into ours, the usual reaction is to apologise and move on. But when driving, near misses are often met with instant anger - and in the most extreme cases, road rage... just like how the driver in that clip zoomed off after almost hitting the poor guy. 😂😂 absolutely love all your videos Ashley but especially this one. Much love 💖
Clip 3 - i can agree with the driver. When I’m crossing junction I always look behind to check no one is turning, having said that it does look like the driver came round a bit quick, that might just be perspective though
Point is though you have absolute right of way as a pedestrian crossing with those road markings. Aye its best practice because drivers don't give right of way.
Clip 8 was my favourite unfortunately happens far too often due to other drivers being in a rush, hats off to the cam driver for pulling over and calming down rather than driving erratically from the scare and potentially risking having an accident. Loving watching these videos and appreciate the frequent uploads keeping me distracted whilst in quarantine. Hope everyone is staying safe :)xx
Clip number 3 I’d have said the pedestrian had priority and even if they weren’t already crossing the side road then the drive should have anticipated that they would
@@andrewstorm8240 The relevant sections of the highway code are rule 7 parts B, C and D, basically, stop at the kerb, look and listen, and give way to vehicles. Since there is no sound, we don't know if the cammers car was indicating or not but assume they were. The pedestrian did not stop, they did not look (probably didn't listen properly either) and definitely did not give way to vehicles on the road.
Lol one problem on the highway is people not seeing and another is people not hearing,, you'll be amazed how many times i've avoided this situation occuring because I had the windows down playing loud Bass Boosted music and just get cheerfully waved through.
I prefer this to the usual dash cam videos on other channels. It’s cool being able to hear your opinion in the video about the clip, and it looks like you’ve put a lot of effort into editing it well too!
Clip 15 is my favourite. I like the way the person who gets overtaken uses hand gestures to indicate that they are 2 hours late and are on their way to milk a cow.
@@TiberiusWallace And the pedestrian should have stopped and given way to the cammer instead of blindly stepping into the road as that is also what the highway code says (see rule 7). A prime candidate for a Darwin Award (see en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Darwin_Awards for more information).
Hi Ashley, my favourite is no 20 only because I thoroughly detest brake testing, it’s something that gets my blood boiling 🥵 The sooner this stops the better- keep safe everyone
Clip 1, a real life hazard perception clip. I was in a similar situation when a woman decided to cross at a red man on my driving lesson. She must have been part of the feminism movement and didn't want to listen to a man!
The women and child crossing is something living near a school I deal with on a daily bases! A dash cam would be very helpful in these types of situations.
1:41 Nice awareness of the instructor in the first clip, typical response of 'don't tell me how to raise my kids' from the parent, you come across this kind of it's not me it's you responses from those in the wrong, like the clip at 2:46, the guy crossing was in the wrong, but got defensive and tried turning the blame back at the driver, though the driver has to take some blame as it looked obvious the guy was going to cross and should've slowed down to let the idiot cross as it looks like the driver approached at full speed for a last second braking.
Mine would be clip 7. As a long time motorcyclist (38 years) it shows just how unprepared some two wheeled users are. The presumption that the biker can just saunter out then give a look like the bike has the right of way. Respect to the car driver for going so slowly :)
My favourite is #2... absolutely love when drivers do the wrong thing (i.e. running a red light) and then get stuck in the middle of the road for everyone to see - serves them right! Thank God another accident wasn't caused by such impatience & entitlement. Great video idea Ashley!!
Hey Ashley, want to first say that I've been driving comfortably for the past 2 years, with no accidents (fingers crossed) just yet. I always find it fascinating watching your clips and seeing alternative opinions on what I *used* to think was suitable road rage. This channel has taught me to be kinder on the roads, and I honestly think every driver should take a page out of your book when faced with difficult situations. Hats off to you. My favourite clip in this video has to be the one from our Italian friend taking that wide approach to what was seemingly a simple left turn as such. If he simply kept left when joining the road at the falk then the whole incident could have been avoided. However, to make that unusual manoeuvre there must have been something blocking his entry to the left. Hense the swerve. I, therefore, think the overtaking car he beeped at was just impatient and wanted to get around him. That or the perpetrator was just a bit of a twat!
Clip 1 definitely my favourite. mad props to the driving instructor for stopping so quickly. Just so annoying that people argue back when people are only trying to help.
Clip 16: I am from Italy as well. Despite the high number of roundabouts in my Country, not all people use them properly. The main reason is that a lot of roundabouts do not have lines or markings that show the number of lanes (like the one in this clip). This makes understaning how many lanes are actually there very tricky. For example: 1) In my town one roundabout has 2 lanes coming in from north and east, but 1 lane coming in from west and south and only ONE lane for exit all around (Note: the whole roudabout is wide enough to fit 2 cars side by side). 2) Other roundabouts have 2 lanes coming in all around, but sticking to the outside lane is almost impossible for large vehicles like busses. So where are vehicles supposed to drive? I have have asked my driving instructors about this and they told me that if there are no lines dividing the tarmac in lanes, then there is only one lane. I still think that there has to be a mistake somewhere, because in my first example there are no signs that prohibit cars from entering the roundabout side by side. Yet, from what the instructors told me, they should not be side by side. I have come to the PERSONAL conclusion that I'll stick to: the right side of the road if I have to take the first exit; right or left lane (dependeing on the situation) if I have to go straight; left if I need to take the third or fourth exit. I also avoid entering any roundabout with no line markings while side by side with another vehicle. I'll link here a Google Map view of the roundabouts in question: -First example: www.google.it/maps/place/45%C2%B028'09.1%22N+10%C2%B051'02.1%22E/@45.4677394,10.8505319,3a,75y,356.28h,79.27t/data=!3m6!1e1!3m4!1sVdfiYCqkxie9UVpYAbBsww!2e0!7i16384!8i8192!4m5!3m4!1s0x0:0x0!8m2!3d45.469186!4d10.850584 -Second example: www.google.com/maps/@45.4447917,10.9617655,3a,75y,293.16h,82.28t/data=!3m6!1e1!3m4!1snHDuqqDqAnhaIBIJULShLg!2e0!7i16384!8i8192
I honestly have to say that all the clips tell a story - so I cannot pick a ‘favourite’. One thing they all say in whatever situation we encounter on today’s roads is: Keep calm! Avoid confrontation! Allow for other people’s mistakes, whether that be through ignorance, lack of experience, or just plain stupidity as the chap showed in clip 8. Stay safe, stay calm & BE HAPPY 😃
That first red light jump was absolutely shocking! But number 15 was my fave! Why do people get so grumpy? People being so aggressive was a HUGE factor in my driving anxiety when I passed last year, it took me 8 months to finally be able to drive alone and even now a year after passing aggressive drivers set my anxiety off. We should all learn to be a bit more thoughtful of others and patient 😊
Clip 4 is my favourite - shows how people are so quick to try and blame others on the road, and even drive dangerously to make a point (eg. the Seat Alhambra in the clip). Great video Ashley, thanks!
The clip number one. I hate it when parents allow stupid stuff to happen because of their ego. Eventually something bad will happen because of it. Also the one where the SUV got over taken at the lights was also a good one.
I will have to say clip 5 was my favourite. The only other instance i can think of when the instructor is not in the car (here in Norway at least, is for the final driving test (EXAM) where we have something called a sensor, not sure what it's called other places in the world). I believe the learner positioned himself in such a way so that traffic could freely move ahead and he wasn't blocking the road. Learner also waited until the traffic had red light before moving forward and continuing the drive. Loved the video :)
Clip 15 mainly because it shows how forward planning can lead to safer (and possibly quicker), smoother destination arrival. Clip 2 is a very close second as, although pedestrians always have priority, it shows again how forward planning leads to safer driving.
I think clip 7 as blind spots are just a massive issue which is why we should all be doing appropriate speed in tight and blind spots areas. Keep up the good analysis videos I have learnt so much from them. :)
Yeah Clip 8... props to him for stopping. You see so many people drive badly/angrily after instances like that happening and could very much cause an accident themselves.
Clip 15. It just sums up the habits of a disturbingly large amount of drivers on the road today. Always in a rush and somehow seem to think they're in the right. On the other hand, re-overtaking them at the lights and seeing the reaction put a smile on my face. Brilliant!
Clip 15 is a classic example of many people on the UK roads tailgating and rushing unfortunately. In this situation, it's 50/50 again. Do I pull over (or turn off at a side road) to let him pass to prevent any situation that could potentially arise further down the road (meeting at a traffic light for example and him getting out to confront - have seen this many times) OR do I keep driving to the speed limit and potentially save a person's life because safe driving and speed limits do not apply to him? Most probably I'd do #2 because like I said in my other comment on Clip 1, I couldn't bare to see anybody get seriosly hurt.
Clip 6,.because, I took that photo :), that driver was driving fantastic. I am still scratching my head, what can happened if rain hard and quickly. With it that motor. Mr. Ashley I have my dash cameras, so give other the opportunity to have one :)
Its a tough one. Clip/Pic 6 with the peugeot (what on earth) but if i had to pick my ultimate favourite it would be CLIP 15, that is what you call KARMA 😂
Going to have to go with clip 15. It was your videos that taught me about how traffic flows in batches based on number of cars rather than time, hence despite the distance the SUV has on the cammer's car they pull up side by side at the lights. Also you can use all the hand gestures you want because when I check my mirrors I'm looking for your car to measure distance not your face.
Number 15 is my favorite definitely, overtaking the speeders on a set of lights with just a little bit of predicting is so satisfactory! Such a shame so little peopple seem to employ this thinking technique, I'm sure it could improve the traffic a lot.
Clip 15 is my favourite, just because it shows that overtaking and speeding like he did rarely, if at all, gets you anywhere... Common here in Sweden as well, these overtakes, I usually catch up to them anyway in minutes or even seconds... 😂
Clip 8 for me had to do it a couple of times when someone has made a mistake and has coursed me to be angry to which I had to pull over for a few minutes just to calm down and it helps, think all the clips are great because it's a learning curb for everyone of what to do and what not to do while driving, always enjoy watching your videos Ashley neal I always continue to learn myself.
9:55 yes they can - in most countries outside the UK, on roundabouts, car on the right hand side has priority. End of story. There are no road markings. Car cutting in front was in the wrong. It is only recommended to use the inside lane to go left. Lorry drivers are trained to stick to the outside lane with the left signal on - that way no one can slide into their blind spot 🙂
Excellent video as always. Clip 15, It’s always satisfying to overtake an impatient driver that overtook you previously while you stayed within the speed limit and continued to drive sensibly. That guy was totally unreasonable to act the way he did.
Clip 15 is easily my favourite. Almost every single time someone who speeds and overtakes me always ends up waiting at the next set of traffic lights right next to me. Always find it pretty amusing how poeple rush to wait at the lights for a little longer :)
Clip 1. It's the most frightening since it can happen to all us drivers. Always reminding myself 'can I safely stop if a child / person walks across the road?' 👍🏻
The clip with the swerving van on the motorway is my favourite because it happens all the bloody time here. Pure intimidation because he couldn't pull out when HE wanted to.
Clip 15... with a black box and a young driver, that clip is half of what I get on a daily basis in town commuting to work. I often get very very closely tailgated when an easy overtake could minimise the danger...
Favourite favourite was clip three (the one at 2:48) with the pedestrian. Pedestrian was on that part of the road before the driver was. Granted he should have looked before crossing, but as my instructor told me, ALWAYS give pedestrians right of way if they endanger themselves if you can without endangering yourself.
Here in Spain, for example, we are taught to go round the roundabaout on the outside as long as we are able to, so I'm guessing in Italy it might be the same. Clip 16 is the most interesting one for me because of the diference in rules on each country.
I have 18 happen to me all the time. I'm in the U.S and I take a certain turn every day. There are two lanes that turn left (I always take the outside lane). It's narrow and that seams to cause those in the inside lane to move to the outside in the middle of the turn. I get surprised when I can get through without any problems.
My favourite clip is clip 8. The cammer reacted to it very well. The fact he safely pulled over for a few minutes was brilliant. It's probably the wisest thing he could have done after what just happened. Definitely something more people should do. PS, the new animations are really good :)
By far and away clip 15 was absolute magic. It's hilarious when people get mad at other road users that are better than themselves. The icing on the cake is just how long the hands gestures go on for, as if that'll make any difference.
Clip 15 is a great example of what happens when you stick to the speed limit. I have no time for speeding, and it's amazing how angry people get! Clip 18 is just scary! Having had my custom van conversion destroyed by an idiot in a scooter, those things freak me out!
A lot of these are really interesting but it's 8 to me. I get not getting that mad but I think we have to let it out sometimes and I think pulling in to cool down was a really good move to get back to positive driving ;)
clip 4: as a learner I find roundabouts quite tricky, yes I have a grasp on all aspects and always proceed with caution + give way, but I find it hard to know if people are going to let me in, how fast they're approaching + whether they can stop. Having people like this on the roads doesn't help learners at all, not to mention the lives they endanger when behind the wheel. As a learner from Sydney, Aus we have to complete at least 120 hours of driving on our learners with a supervisor before we can get our license, and even then we are speed limited to 90km then 100km for a few years, and can't have many passengers to distract us between 11pm-5am as we are inexperienced (we have "P"/probationary plates to show the other drivers + police). So Ashley, what do you think of the Australian system and restrictions? I find the 120 hours quite a good number to be a competent driver ready to drive alone, and instructor lessons and other courses count for bonus hours.
Clip 7: it just reminds you that no matter how experienced of a driver you are, you always have to be as vigilant as ever in seemingly a safe situation or you risk something like that.
Clip 15 is a classic case of just drive normal and you’ll end up getting to the same destination (but more safely)!
15 - How can someone be annoyed when you're doing nothing but obeying the law and driving safely? Baffles me ._.
Because they always have right of way and everyone else is just wrong?
Clip 15 - Who doesn't love beating an impatient driver on lights
Clip 15 definitely, you say it every time that speeding is just waiting longer at the next lights. What a perfect example this is :)
Clip 15 is a great clip, just shows that being impatient gets you nowhere.
“So sit back, relax and watch a crash” that honestly had me dead 😂😂
Clip 15 100% my favourite, happens all too often. Got to love the perfect planning in order to get ahead of the SUV

It was only when the driver got out and shouted the parent back when she realised and ran over in hysterics. Luckily the child was ok and only had a graze on her hand when she hit the floor.
Clip 3 my fav, I think the driver should be expecting the pedestrian to step out without looking
Viewer clip 15 is my choice.. One of the things you clearly provide as a driving instructor/UA-camr is empathy for learner drivers because of how scary it can be.. Hats off to you Ashley!
Clip 15 was fantastic, in a hurry to stop and tried his best to get away from the lights fast.
Clip 8 is my favourite. I love the fact that he parks his car to cool things off a bit than driving on in an angry state of mind.
The last video showing a vehicle brake checking was my favourite, as it’s so typical of a deliberate act to tick you off.
Been binge watching these during the lockdown! Keep 'em coming!
The last one is my favorite as I really hate both tailgating and break checking so a 2 in 1 for me.
15 - for that smug moment when the lights at the end turn green and the instructor gets ahead
Clip 15 is my fave! Brilliant work from the driver to overtake at the traffic lights 😂.
I like how Ashley still sits in his car. Feels just like normal.
Clip 15, couldn’t stop laughing at your comment 😂😂
Clip 8 , definitely the best thing to do is to pull over , calm yourself down . When I had a black box it would dock me points for braking so if something like this happened I’d look on my app later that day and see my braking score as 0 for that day .... less points , less overall score , more you have to pay on insurance renewal.
Clip 17. The so called professional drivers. Even with the roads at the moment (empty), they still think it’s acceptable.
the final clip is everything i hate about drivers on the road today. if someone brake checks, even if someone is too close behind, it immediately makes the issue 100 times worse and more dangerous.
Great videos Ashley I really enjoy them and still learn a lot from them
2:50 Either the cammer likes taking corners at 20ish mph or he was leaving the breaking until last second to try and make a point.
Much love 💖
Clip 8 for me love the way he pulled over to calm down instead of keep on driving while clearly abit heated.
Clip number 3 I’d have said the pedestrian had priority and even if they weren’t already crossing the side road then the drive should have anticipated that they would
Although the pedestrian still didn't look, so him saying he had right of way is a bit pointless unless he has got eyes on the back of his head
I see this regularly in London. It’s a tough one as they are putting themselves at risk-wonder what the Highway Code says
Mark C Littler thanks for your input
I prefer this to the usual dash cam videos on other channels. It’s cool being able to hear your opinion in the video about the clip, and it looks like you’ve put a lot of effort into editing it well too!
Awesome, thank you! Keep safe, Ashley
Clip 2 - because who doesn't love almost either killing or being killed by an impatient idiot.
Clip 15 is my favourite. I like the way the person who gets overtaken uses hand gestures to indicate that they are 2 hours late and are on their way to milk a cow.
3:10 The old guy was the best he should have looked but the dash cam driver must have been stupid to not anticipate that
And the cammer should have given way because that's what the code says.
@@TiberiusWallace
And the pedestrian should have stopped and given way to the cammer instead of blindly stepping into the road as that is also what the highway code says (see rule 7).
A prime candidate for a Darwin Award (see en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Darwin_Awards for more information).
Hi Ashley, my favourite is no 20 only because I thoroughly detest brake testing, it’s something that gets my blood boiling 🥵
The sooner this stops the better- keep safe everyone
Gotta be the clip 15 to speed up and slow down again haha always makes me laugh to see
Clip 3 - That bloke crossing was pretty dench and cammer clearly didn't want to argue!
For example:
1) In my town one roundabout has 2 lanes coming in from north and east, but 1 lane coming in from west and south and only ONE lane for exit all around (Note: the whole roudabout is wide enough to fit 2 cars side by side).
I have come to the PERSONAL conclusion that I'll stick to:
the right side of the road if I have to take the first exit;
right or left lane (dependeing on the situation) if I have to go straight;
left if I need to take the third or fourth exit.
I also avoid entering any roundabout with no line markings while side by side with another vehicle.
I'll link here a Google Map view of the roundabouts in question:

Clip 15 Happens all to often , people speed past and you end up catching them or overtaking them due to red lights
Kudos to the person who pulled over to take a breath. That could easily have prevented something happening further down the road
Clip 15 is my favourite, things like this happen a lot and just proves how planning makes you a better driver
11 was the best by far, not only the “sit back relax and watch a crash” but the fact they were listening to UB40 tops that clip off beautifully 😂
Definitely 15, I see far too many drivers out there speeding and seeing this guy put in his place by a competent driver is very satisfying!
Great vid Ashley! Your ‘analysis’ is good to help see some perspectives one might not think of when initially watching these clips.
Here in Spain, for example, we are
taught to go round the roundabaout on the outside as long as we are able to, so I'm guessing in Italy it might be the same.
I find the 120 hours quite a good number to be a competent driver ready to drive alone, and instructor lessons and other courses count for bonus hours.
clip 8, provided a great bit of advice to anyone that didn’t know of it. he got angry and pulled over, best way to relieve anger. well done sir
Clip 7: it just reminds you that no matter how experienced of a driver you are, you always have to be as vigilant as ever in seemingly a safe situation or you risk something like that.
