- In this video, I will share with you how to make a Solar Rainbow Jar by using cheap electronics components. This lamp changes it's color with slow flashing automatically. Use this colorful jar for decorating your garden or balcony.

your inductor will drain the battery fast.....use a 100uh inductor or higher. less bright, but longer run time. :) nice project.

Why does the 47uH coil look like a resistor? Maybe a 47M-ohm? I didn't realize coils looked so much like resistors. I've only ever seen them in a much different package - like a heat shrunk package surrounding a coil...

So how do you or can you control the pulse speed of color change and is the color change made by the voltage increase and decrease or is it in the LED.Im just a beginner and know little about electronics but super fascinated with it.Any info would be so appreciated.Thank you and hope to see much more.

I want to ask a question. in an DC LED circuit. 5V battery and green LED 3V and 20mA, as per calculation 100 ohm resistor is good, it will give 20mA current. i was trying to increase the resistor to 150 ohms. my current changed to 13.7mA and voltage drop across resistor changed to 2.06V, why, can you explain. because when i calculate, I=V/R, =2/150 = 13.33mA only. But y 13.7mA and 2.06 voltage drop instead of 2V.

I think no because the solar panel can't charge the battery fully in a single day sunlight. If your area receive ample amount of sunlight, then it will give more backup.

hello, I made your lamp but the operation is not correct: the led goes out when I approach my hand and therefore stays on in broad daylight.
