You mention the Hisense must be calibrated out of the box. What exactly does that mean? I have tried Hisense and they don't know what I am asking. Please tell me the steps to calibrate. I have a brand new refrigerator and it's too warm.
Hopefully you got this figured out already, but I'm assuming they mean you may need to adjust the 'coldness' of the fridge to make sure it's actually getting cold enough to keep your food refrigerated/frozen.
PLEASE EXPLAIN WHAT YOU MEAN BY "CALIBRATING" THE HISENSE REFRIGERATOR. So many people are commenting on what it could possibly mean? I called Hisense as did another viewer here, and Hisense had no idea what I am talking about. Do you mean just setting the temperature control?
HISENSE IS NONSENSE SENT TWO OF THEM BACK. The temperature controls suck, Touchpad across the inside top of the fridge allows you to set temp for refrigerator and freezer. .You have to press and hold the icon for these to light up. THEN if you choose fringe you can set fridge temp, if you choose FREEZER ,the moment you press TEMP , the controls immediately revert to FRIDGE Therefore there is no way so set the freezer temp. THEN there are three icons on the right for some nonsense. like power saver. fast cool etc. NONE of those light up. LOWE'S SAID IT WAS DEFECTIVE and sent guys to take it back two days later and left a new fridge again. This one, the controls worked, but with the fridge set to 34 degrees i put six taylor thermometer in all different places inside the fridge. The COLDEST it was at the top center was 42 degrees . This is a piece of CRAP. They took this one back today. Fortunately, Lowe's was GREAT.. Not their fault This piece of junk SUCKS
Heat rises, cold drops. That's why most fridges have the freezer on the top. No need for a fan to push the cold air down. The cold air just drops down to the fridge section from the freezer section through vents. No need for a fan. On a bottom freezer model, a strong fan is needed to constantly push the cold air UP, going against the laws of physics. A good bottom freezer refrigerator can be made to work nicely, but I don't go against mother nature For best performance and reliability, the freezer should always be on top. Same with side to side models. They have to put fans in there to push the cold air from one side to the other and on all models, if the freezer is not on the top, you'll never get great temperature distribution.
Beware of traps in this refrigerator . the wse6100wf Worst design! The placement of parts is bizarrely confusing. Check that replacement parts are not easy to find. The chance of failure is more than other brands I bought later. It seems that they are doing it to earn money for repairs and replacement parts in the future.

As soon as you mentioned Samsung you lost all credibility.
True, but the absolute worst is the LG..
Never buy a Samsung regardless of the features offered plus the worse ice makers ever!

As per Hisense manual optimum temperature should be @36 deg Celsius

Did you ever find out what "Calibrating" means? Did you ever get your fridge to run cooler? Thanks

Do not buy any refrigerator with a bottom drawer freezer.

I have one. I've had it 12 years! Just now thinking about replacing soon.
