@@THAT2V you could probably still get a more agressive tune and still pass emmisions, gears will put you in your seat too and as far as i know u should beable to throw gears in no issue. U will need a tune anyways to correct the speedo if u get 3.73s or 4.10s.
@@readylucas I have 3.73 gears and a tune already with some 315 Mickey Thompson’s in the rear. Only thing I would need is a big ol cam. The tune did correct the speedo issue for me which is nice
@@THAT2V Nice! Also couldnt u get a decent cam without going too agressive, and even if u want to go big who is gonna see it? Get a more mild cam maybe? while ur in the motor u could throw in a better oil pump/ timing chain tensioners. Not really needed but u could rev a bit higher without worrying about blowing the damned oil pump gear or starving the lower end.

3.73 gears, cams, and a tune would take u pretty far in these torque happy cars.
I would love to get Cams but this is my daily and I live in California 😔
