Hello and thank you for these nice tutorials. I usually put a precount of 2 bars before begining the song to warn my drummer and he gives a correct entrance to rest of the band. As the timeline in Camelot is in minutes and seconds, is quite difficult to calculate the exact point to place the backing track to have 2 bars of silence at the begining. Is there a way to put the timeline rule on bars instead of seconds, or at least to have a second rule in bars? I haven't been able to find it and it's surprising me that this nice program didn't have that "musical" feature... Thanks!
Leo - Can the Start/Stop points of the Timeline be changed (like if the Audio has "dead space" at the beginning or end)? In other words, adjust where the Transport starts or stops (not the Audio Track). Thanks!
Do you mean having for example at the beginning some audio that will not be played until the transport reaches a certain position even though it is passing through some audio track?
No, I use performance software in Windows (Cantabile Performer) and can set the place on the Timeline where playback starts or ends (I.e. the audio track doesn’t actually start until the 00:05 point on the timeline and I can set the Transport to start playback at 00:05 to eliminate five seconds of “dead air”).
You cannot do that straight on the timeline in Camelot in that way, you have to act on individual elements. You can of course have start and stop playing markers but that is not the same thing…
Thanks for another helpful video Leo.
👍👍👍
Thank you, your videos are precious, help a lot when you don't remembered the actions of the bottom😉
You are welcome, happy to help
Thanks for this, I've always been too intimidated to delve into this app, great tutorial series 👍🏾
You are welcome
Super helpful!
Glad to be of help
Thank you. One question: how can I loop a beat in the timeline?
Do you mean as a backing track, wav file?

Nope but label marker can help a bit on positioning…
@@soundformore thanks!
Love it. Thanks Leo.
