The Allen Public Library hosts author C. Paul Rogers III as he discusses his book Throwing Hard Easy: Reflections on a Life in Baseball, also written by Robin Roberts, with a forward by Stan Musial and James Roberts.

Thanks for posting this. Growing up in Philadelphia in the '50's and going to games with my father at Shibe Park (aka Connie Mack Stadium) off of Lehigh Ave., Robin Roberts, along with Richie Ashburn, Curt Simmons, Del Ennis, Wally Jones, and Stan Lopata, were my boyhood heroes. Win or lose, the Phillies were my team. Great to hear these stories about Robin Roberts and to get to know the man behind the uniform.
