DETAILS:
A Deputy spotted the female driver who was missing the traffic cycle at the intersection of Jamacha Rd and Sweetwater Rd. and not moving through the intersection on two consecutive "Green" lights.
He approached the driver to check on her welfare and found her passed out behind the wheel. He attempted to wake her, and she suddenly woke up and started to drive east on Jamacha Rd.
He followed her as she slowly drove eastbound, hitting the sidewalk curd at one point. She was driving slowly and appeared to be struggling to stay awake. A second Deputy got ahead of her and used a "Spike Strip" to stop the car. The woman was taken into custody after it was determined that she was DUI.

Atleast she didn't injure or kill anyone else. At least she didn't take out any street lights, fire hydrants or trees this time as far as we know.

Actually if you look in the description it clearly says 5 o clock AM.
It’s clearly 5 o clock somewhere and she had a drink.
She's in ROTS of frouble. She should have stopped, it would have been a simple DUI and open containers. She compounded her interest from a misdemeanor to felony. If she had no priors, her felony may get reduced and she'll end up getting a big fine, overnights in jail until she sees the judge, heavy legal fees, DL suspension, future much higher insurance, an ignition device to blow into (she'll have to pay for that too), and the DUI on record.
She’s the kind of person like many others who like to give money away for stupid actions like DUIs.
Highly doubt it was a felony, that only applies when you elude in a reckless manner aka high speed chase or running red lights etc. It said she was driving slowly.

Jamacha Rd and Sweetwater? That's literally 20 yards from a roadside memorial of ANOTHER girl who died there due to a DUI. Doug covered it. She was driving on the wrong side of the 125 and plummeted to her death.
