He doesn't say disrespectful words it's his tone. I have him in counseling and we're working on it. But she doesn't know him or she would understand. She passes ne off so bad.
Kelsey’s moms reaction in the end honestly kind of bothered me. She just didn’t seem very genuine and for her to assume it’s normal teenager anger like what.
She still has the personality of someone who's using. I don't doubt that she's clean, but there's more to it than just that. They both definitely need some serious therapy.
I put myself in her moms shoes and I would act SO much more intense then her so I do agree with you. it felt like she didn't care but also she might have got over her past. it probably wasn't easy to talk about it in front of strangers AND in front of cameras
The mom that left for 12 years really pissed me off for real when sitting at the table she acted like she had no clue what was going on and in reality she knows what she did 🖕
My 17 year old brother wouldn’t do chores. My folks told him to pull his weight or pay rent so they could hire someone else to do them (he had an after school job.) He refused. The next day, when he got home from school, everything he owned was boxed up and sitting on the front porch and the door was locked. He decided to do chores. And in case you’re wondering, yes, my mom and dad would TOTALLY have followed through. We loved our parents and respected them until the day they died.
I love that the strict mom cares so much about Kelsey and her mom and was trying so hard to help but it is up to Kelsey to decide on how to handle it. If she wants to cut her mom off that is perfectly fine.
I'm not buying that Kelsey's mom is really understanding how hurt Kelsey is. I get why Kelsey resents her, and wouldn't be surprised if their relationship never healed.
The mom is giving horrible advice. Instead of Kelsey trying to mend her relationship with her mom, she needs to heal from it and accepts. She is angry rightful so.

Hello! Surprisingly, it almost always ends the same way in every episode. In the beginning, they're rebellious (...) and in the end, they hug the parents and are no longer rebellious. I don't know what to think about that 🤔😄 Did someone pay them? 😄 I don't think people can change easily. I don't think TEENAGERS can change so easily. However, I don't think it's impossible. It's possible to change but I think it really takes time and I guess it's rare. And when I see how rebellious they were at the beginning, it's quite hard for me to believe they really changed. I'm not naive. I don't believe in Santa Claus. It's pleasant to watch but it's hard for me to believe they really changed.
I wish I had this experience honestly, I’m a teenager with horrible trust issues and anger issues all surrounded by the past I’m 16 and I haven’t had my father in my life for years on end basically, and I take my anger out on other including my bf, and I feel like I constantly destroy everything so seeing kels get this experience most definitely brought tears to my eyes😭❤️ I love this for her🙏🥹
Staying angry makes you bitter and you then become bitter toward everyone else around you, and you being bitter toward them means that you blame those around you for your bitterness, you need to break that curse over yourself, your bitterness is caused by no one other than yourself, you cause your bitterness toward others because of your anger toward others..... this is all caused by yourself, the pain you have is caused by someone else yes, the bitterness..... That is on you......
I think that if these parents send their kids away for issues, and they know their kids are going to be sent to work hard on their emotions, their work ethics and many other things, that the parents should also have to go through some counseling, parent classes or something else to also meet their kids in the middle. The parents are the problem. They create kids who are feeling unsure and when kids are unsure, they lash out, and act tough to cover up what is really going on. That is why the strict parents on these episodes work. They are tough in expectations, but they do it with love for their children and their families.
That's how strict parents are. No matter how much you try to explain it, they'll just respond with ," I don't want to hear it," or "I don't care. You know the rules."
