- The story of the Germanic peoples stretches back thousands of years, with roots in the Unetice culture of Central Europe (2300-1600 BCE). These early inhabitants were skilled bronze workers, leaving behind impressive weapons, tools, and ornaments. Notably, the Unetice culture practiced inhumation burials, some with elaborate barrows for elites, hinting at emerging social stratification. The Unetice are not the ancestors of just Germanics, but pretty much all Northern, Eastern, Western, and Central Europeans.
It is not clear when exactly the Germanic ethnicity formed, but we know from historical sources that by the Iron Age Germanics already existed in Northern, Central, and Eastern Europe. Over time, Germanics were displaced from Eastern Europe by migrating Slavs and Turkic peoples and migrated to the west of Europe where they encountered Celtic peoples.
During the Viking age, Northern Germanics from Scandinavia would migrate and establish trade relations with various European nations such as Eastern Slavs in Russia or West Germanics in England. Vikings served as the foundation of Norman ethnicity and certain medieval French lineages.
Germanic people are known worldwide for their tall height, blond hair, and light eye color. So beautiful and unique. But there are downsides to being Germanic as well. Northern and Western Europeans, but not necessarily Germanics specifically, have higher odds of certain conditions such as Multiple Sclerosis, rheumatoid arthritis, type 1 diabetes, age related macular degeneration, and hemochromatosis.

Beauty is in the eye of the observer.
Beauty is objective. Coloring aside, as i do prefer darker eyes/hair, things like sexual dimorphism and symmetry are not in the eyes of the observer, and you can argue that certain coloring is more male or female dimorphic too. At its root, sexual attraction is just a signal to the brain that a certain package of traits is high quality due to things like high fighting success, health, and abundance of resources.
