Had to quit, I’m old; either never knew it, or have forgotten it. But I like these quizzes, SO MUCH MORE ENJOYABLE THAN READING ABOUT trumpet, and worrying about my SS
#15 either remove 60 from the multiple choice or specify non American football. In the US a football game is 4 quarters of 15 mins. A soccer game is 90 to us. #38 it’s the Magna Carta autocorrect changed it to Magna Carter I missed the history dates. I’ve been out of school a long time, 😂
37/50 Instead of football they should have said soccer. Football is 60 minutes (even though it takes 4 hours to play, ha ha) I saw several misspellings... But knew what they meant. Good quiz
In spite of my fairly well-rounded education, I always learn a lot from good general knowledge quizzes. That's exactly what happened today, so thank you! 🙏😍🤓🧠 🦋 🦋 ❤
@Mel Stiller, thank you so much for your kind words! I'm glad to hear that you found the quiz so enriching. It's always wonderful to see how much there is to learn, no matter our level of education. 🙏🤓😍 🦋 🦋 ❤
This quiz hit me right in the feels! I was so nervous with each question, but I’m proud of what I knew and learned. Thank you for making learning so exciting
Soccer is a 90 minute match which I didn’t know one way or the other . Soccer in Europe is Football . In the States Football is a 60 minute game . We Americans love our Football .
I have enjoyed many of these challenges, and have typically scored between 80-95%. But this one crushed me. I do have to say, I was able to learn a few things, thus it was enjoyable.
Football in the U.S. is called a Football Game. Marcus .A. is actually Marcus Aurelius. Also, Magna Carta rather than The Magna Carta. And Statue of Liberty rather than Status of Liberty. I missed 10 questions, but the whole test was interesting and the quiet rather than a voice reading the test aloud was a good touch. Thanks for putting this up!
Q,41, Who agrees with the given answer? Chocolate has to be the most stolen food item. How many Retailers stock Cheese? Chocolate is something that is found at almost all the shops, even non food stores such as, Stationers.
I thought chocolate would be #1 50is years ago, 250 years ago probably bread and today considering we can't eat cars or E scooters, it's probably meat.
chocolate is rarer and rarer. it was always imported to western nations. Cheese makes sense…since there are multiple domestic animals that are used for milk.
Thank you for your feedback! I'm glad you found it interesting, even if it was a bit difficult. I appreciate you taking the time to engage with the content! ❤
Who the flip thinks that Trivia is not knowledge. Anything learned no matter how trivial increases one's knowledge and perception. Thanks for the quiz, and for increasing my knowledge, particularly with the geographical answers which are my Achilles heel.
This is an interesting quiz and this old man learned something. I missed 5 or 6. And I’m not sure some of the questions really fall into the domain of “general” knowledge. 🙂
Thank you so much for your kind words! 😊 We're glad to hear you enjoyed the quiz and learned something new. Missing a few questions is all part of the fun and learning process. We aim to keep our quizzes diverse and engaging, but we appreciate your feedback on the content. Stay tuned for more quizzes, and we hope you continue to enjoy and learn from them!
42/50. BTW Question 20 does NOT apply to the Vancouver Canucks, that hockey team is only allowed to compete for the Stanley Cup, it is fated never to win it.
Well, got most correct but, i certainly don't agree with the given answer to Q,41. How can it be Cheese when Chocolates are more common and, something Children usually get caught stealing their favourite sweets. Cheese is not something you will find in every shop while, Chocolate apoears everywhere. Every corner shop, many stationers, all the shops at travel stations ( Railway, Bus, Airport ) stock Chocolates but, Cheese is only found at Grocers.
45/50: Missed pretty much all the sports questions except the football question (but that really should have been phrased as American football to prevent soccer confusion).
Nice job on your score! It sounds like the sports questions gave you a bit of trouble, but you nailed the football questions. I'll keep your feedback in mind for future quizzes, making sure to clarify between American football and soccer. Thanks for sharing your thoughts!
@@dexterdogg well, 'match' would suggest soccer to an American, so I'm glad I missed that clue. American football is 90 minutes, so I got that one in the end!
The wording of some of these questions leaves a lot to be desired, especially considering your UA-cam channel name (English Tests ....). The planet question needs to contain the word "planet" somewhere. The "La La Land" question is missing a leading "IN".
45/50. Incorrect answers: #3 #7 #22 #30 #36 (I cannot play chess). #23 should be read: Statue of Liberty (and not Status). So, I suffer from ophidiophobia since I loathe snakes...🤢India and China have the same number of inhabitants 1.400.000.000 (I checked on Google...). Ciao.
@Patrizia, congratulations on your score! You did really well. Thanks for the corrections and the additional information. Ophidiophobia is indeed a challenging fear to deal with.
@Dr Bluzer, congratulations on scoring 42/50! 🎉 That's a fantastic! Keep up the great work, and I hope you continue to enjoy and learn from our quizzes. 😊

Q12 - most of the oil wells in the US are shut down, not 'producing' much at all
Trump said we have the most oil in the world over and over not that we are using it or selling it.
FUN . I like the format too .
Glad to hear it!

Q,41, Who agrees with the given answer?
Chocolate has to be the most stolen food item.
How many Retailers stock Cheese?
Chocolate is something that is found at almost all the shops, even non food stores such as, Stationers.
My daughter said bread but I suppose there are a lot of expensive (and usually awful) cheeses out there.
Wholesale theft is where the money's at, and cheese has more commercial uses than chocolate.
I chose cheese for that reason.
I thought chocolate would be #1 50is years ago, 250 years ago probably bread and today considering we can't eat cars or E scooters, it's probably meat.
@@davidkilts1670 The most awful of the cheeses are the cheaper non cheeses, like Kraft's American cheese.

Yes, but per the " correct answer" which stated was 90 minutes... that is Soccer.. NFL football is 4 quarters at 15 minutes each. So many errors here.
