I have just bought the 2017 sheild tv, it now has iplayer and you can also use kodi for all live tv and movie content if preferred. There are many more features on now than when this video was uploaded. :)
It is the best android box on the market, don't think I will use any other! BBC iplayer is brilliant especially the live tv usability. I also have kodi which works flawlessly.
I have central media room. all tvs hdmi cables are there. does the shield support multiple tvs all using it at once? also I old see a single hdmi output.....would you need some type.of hdmi hub? and last do you need to.be in room to use gaming remote?
Nice job on the review, do you think it's worth the upgrade from Nexus Player for $300 Aussie dollars. The Nexus Player is $129 here. I want to be able to stream 4K on Netflix and UA-cam. cheers
I would ask are you interested in streaming games? (either nvidias games with geforce now or ur own games with geforce now). Aside from fast UI/4K60, its main USP are the gaming features.

+zay peace most features are free, although GeForce Now games requires a subscription. You don't get Sky or Fox channels I believe. It will work with any HDTV.
My android box was 35 bucks on amazon... Does exactly as the shield.. just not play those high quality games... I got consoles for that.. shield is how much?? 300 bucks? Ill pass...
+The Tech Chap TV Indeed ! it's being bumped up to 200mbps in the very near future, too. There's so many government projects to deliver high speed broadband to rural parts of the country.. hopefully you'll have access to way more than 12mbps next year, or maybe 2017.
