That seems like a really nice set for some actual ok the trail cooking. I might be leaving the larger pot at home if going out alone, but anyways 42$? Score! The pots are anodized so if compared to the trangia equivalent it cost you 1/4 the price!!!
These are pretty damn good, but when compared to a Trangia 25, they're 2nd place! There are a few shortcomings... 1. The pot ring... it's kinda flimsy. 2. The pots aren't seasoned... 3. The cost... they cost almost as much as a fully equipped T-25UL... the pluses... 1. The pots that are stock, are larger than a T-25... 2. The simmer ring on the alcohol burner is better than on a Trangia! 3. The pot stand on the Esbit doesn't need supports for the pots like the T-25 does... 4. The pots use a heat exchanger... Both can use a multifuel burner... oh, btw, that's a frying pan...
It’s been so long I forgot about this thing. I’ll need to get it out of the basement and use it sometime since it’s just collecting dust. Definitely doesn’t go with my backpacking.
Man I like mine a lot. Just as much about as the trangia the only thing I like more about the trangia is the windscreen wraps the pot. Though I wouldn’t doubt esbit stayed away from that design maybe to stay from any possible lawsuits who knows

Is it only works with alcohol or with burning wood?
Pretty fast boil for an ethanol stove system!
