This stream is the first one I've seen that shows how to play the Italian coastal defense. Much enjoyed the game as usual.

Great micro with the artillery officer. It was soloing by the end of the match.
yes, he's super strong. i think he had 44 kills last time i looked. he's really brutal at level 3.
wth is that artillery ability the officer has? costs nothing to use? low cooldown? super accurate? smells OP
yes 100%. at level 3 it also has a huge area.
I was not able to crack a Wehrmacht bunker defense. Fantastic retooling by relic in my opinion. Time for new tactics
congratulations. yes, you have to make an effort if you already have a few bunkers out there. but since he has fewer units, it should theoretically be doable. i think relic did a good job.

Just curious; what controls do you use to move the camera? I noticed you don't use WASD, so I'm assuming arrow keys or middle mouse button? :)
And damn that battlefield has seen better days with all that artillery :D It's so wrecked
most of the time i move the mouse to the edge of the screen^^ in rare cases the mouse wheel^^ maybe a bit oldscool^^
I see, interesting. I'm also kind of oldschool, having played RTS since Warcraft 3 and Age of Mythology, but have always used the arrow keys (except in CoH3) as I find moving the mouse to the edge a little akward :) Anyway thanks for answering my random question!

Im trying to perfect it, definitely not easy to build all these defenses while being engaged in firefights constanty but i have won with this doctrine
yes, you really have to practise it. that must have been my 10-15 game.
I am just curious but what is the noticeable difference between the coastal reserves and the grenadiers?
coastel are strong near bunkers but weak in the field.

Why dont you build any sandbags near the points when defending with reserves?
didn't think about it :/ yes, you're right. that's their strength.
What are the coastal reserves? Are they like the Ostruppen from COH2?
i'm not a coh2 pro, but coastal reserves are units that can quickly build buildings and co and get special bonuses in the area around the buildings. in return, they are somewhat weaker in direct comparison to their counterparts.

I dont know how I am supposed to compete with PC on console, your unit management is insanely good.
you're simply slower with the controller. you're just faster with a mouse and keyboard. i don't think you stand much of a chance as a console player. i don't know how.

The effects of the explosions are still horrible, Relic definitely has much more to improve.

yes. it is totally op. cooldown is also very low.
Will this save the game? I have my doubts. Not just because it's too little too late, but also because this content is behind a paywall. Which has resulted in corresponding "enthusiasm" in the Steam reviews.
you can unlock the 2 battlegroups for free. the last "main patch" has doubled the number of players.
@@Achilles-Gaming I checked SteamDB. The player numbers of CoH 3 went downhill from release onwards and were hovering just above those of CoH 1 (which is almost 20 years old!) until the end of November. Since then, player numbers have risen slightly, but are still far below those of CoH 2.
Personally, I don't have any reason to buy CoH 3. The game doesn't offer me anything that the predecessors didn't already have. Not only that, these are even fully developed instead of being in a constant alpha / beta stage and offer much more variety and content thanks to mods.

many new players have joined the game with the last patch. the feedback is generally much better than before. i could imagine that you like it now. at instant-gaming you save almost 60% if you come from europe.

if i posted every game i would surely have to upload 10 games a day... i only post the best ones. if you look at my channel you will see that i have uploaded a lot of gameplays where i lose.
I don’t really like Wehrmacht, simply because the voice lines are HORRIBLE. The Afrikakorps, on the other hand, is great
Edit: it’s because they sound way to weird, how they say exactly what they are, what they’re doing, stuff like that, unlike the Afrikakorps lines that have actual personality.

@@GWhite-Wolfburning jager are one of my favorite voice line barks.
Especially compare to COH1 Grenadiers and COH2 Grenadiers, Panzergrenadiers and MG42 there isn’t any lines that stand out and the voices themselves don’t sound like a typical German soldier.

hey achilles do you post up on any other platforms youtube gone nuts with the adds again? you have my email address it was over showing end game stats if u remember? just incase pootoob gets its knickers in a twist about mentioning other platforms lol
other platforms are not planned. i also don't know any where it would be worth it. twitch is basically just streaming and others are not interesting for me. at the moment it is already very time-consuming to get 1 solid video per day. i can upload maybe 1 video per 5 games played. sometimes you play for 30 or 50 minutes and then you have a disconnect or someone just goes out of the game... often i have people walking out, games that aren't exciting or games that go on for 15 minutes. at the moment i'm thinking about maybe only posting 3 videos a week. i can of course set the ads manually or leave out certain elements but then youtube probably won't be "worth it" for me anymore. i can have a look at the automatic placements, maybe i can change something there. addendum: youtube has added 9 ads to the video... i'll have to take a closer look. but it will take me a few days, as i need to understand the system first.
@@Achilles-Gaming NO! I do not think the adds are 4 a second down to you as have previosly said u do not place extra adds in mid game its poo toob!! I have bin using add blockers which according to E.U. is fine BUT PooToob got its WOKE knickers in a twist and yet again spammed me with Adds.
