Did you teach the command without saying anything first then once they get a hang of it then add the command? Or say the command while your teaching it?

You got it! Teach them with your lure how to get into those positions first. Then add the command. With constant repetition they will start to understand the command

Do you crate train? Any advise on crate training? My 10 week old bully crys aweful in his crate. Almost seems like an actual anxiety.

Yes, crate training is very important. You have to create a positive association with the crate. Try giving his treats in there using a command, have him go in and out the crate while sending him in and rewarding him. Put him in the crate often and give him something like a Kong toy to keep him occupied. He will cry and whine and make a scene. Completely normal. Ignore it, place a blanket over top of the crate covering the sides and back. DO NOT let him out while he’s crying, he will be just fine. As soon as he settles down then let him out. After a few days, he will be less and less anxious and start liking his crate. Hope this helps!

Impose structure. Create a schedule as puppies thrive on consistency. Crate train, hand feed meals and spend time out of the house away from the puppy. Let your dog be a puppy, ensure time for play, time for training and plenty of time resting in the crate. Puppies sleep for 18+ hours a day. Potty train, take your dog outside every time the wake up, eat or drink and every hour they are awake. Don’t use pee pads. Lastly expose the dog to as many sights, sounds and textures that he will encounter as an adult dog as safely as possible. More exposure equals a more confident puppy and eliminates fear aggression later on. Hope that helps!

I start their training in the house as to limit the distraction level. Once they understand all the basic movements with the lure, I then take them outside and repeat
