😂😂😂Thanks for sharing! I will be on that ship in September…looking forward to it. I’ve been on a few. Carnival Pride and now Freedom will be my oldest ships so far, they have character to say the least! It’s a tad bit crowded though…but I’ll take it!

We are going on our first ever cruise in 10 days. The Carnival Breeze to Cozumel out of Galveston. I'm looking forward to some buffets and blackjack. Let's gooooo!

Certainly don't think I'm too good to be on Carnival - but make it a point to be 100% candid with how I react in real time! Sometimes that's a good thing for the location, and sometimes it's not unfortunately!

I worked at a TGI Friday’s for about a month in the 80s, it was difficult to wash that stink off. Also the lunch cook was on coke, but that’s another story.
I feel like half the people in the kitchen that I worked with were strung out
@@SplorinRyan it’s amusing to think back about it now, everyone knew that he was high as a kite, all day, every day, and we just acted like it was normal. How in the hell, could he afford all that coke on a cook’s wage? I didn’t last long there, I landed a job at Skipper’s Smokehouse, Tampa. A blues and reggae Mecca.
Well, the whale tail is so far intact. Can’t wait to see how this ends… 😅

I have a friend group going on this ship, it will be my first cruise. We are from Az and I'm getting the vibe this ship isn't really that nice, and it's a long expensive trip. Would you recommend this ship for a family ( that can afford the finer things) and if not what ship would you recommend?
I just watched part 2 and 3 and no need to answer my previous question. But I'd still like any recommendations
I got a few friends and they love Carnival Freedom!! Two of them have been on that ship 4 or 5 times.

I am about to board this ship in approximately 9 hours, so I get to see the NEW new tail!
It actually caught on fire before we got on board. Like a week or 2 before.
The last time I cruised was way back in probably about '95 and '96. Sailed on Royal Caribbean's Sovereign of the Seas and Majesty of the Seas(biggest cruise ships in the world at the time). Let's just say it was way classier while not being pompous(not quite the right word maybe). Now both those ships have been scrapped, I think covid did the final one in. But they were beautiful. And despite being huge ships, they very rarely felt crowded.
Royal is always done a pretty good job of keeping things fun but still keeping things relatively classy.
I've only got one ship to go off of for Carnival of course so I don't want to Pigeonhole the whole fleet, but I will say that this particular ship did not strike me as classy.... It just seemed.. odd. All the weird textures and curves really made it seem kind of claustrophobic and overly dark

Might be worth mentioning that this is also the cruise that caught fire a couple months ago ;)
Wow it looks pretty bad. The decor looks like a 70s casino. I’ve never been on Carnival. The hunting game mixed with Terminator is pretty weird haha and why is the arcade called the warehouse? Strange choices.
So many unanswered questions lol
Well, sir, it appears as though you really didn't have a good time. Like you wanted a more laid-back cruise. I'm a former Travel Agent for 21 years, with my own agency. You went on the wrong ship. A better experience, for you and your family may have been Royal Caribbean or Disney. Carnival has a lively, noisey, entertainment culture. This is a mass market line, that being said, seeking out a specialized Cruise vibe probably is for you. But some of the things you criticized I would've taken up with the ships Customer Service.
