This video shows you how to install a new valve cover gasket in your 2007-2012 Nissan Altima. Under the valve cover, you have camshafts and the valvetrain spinning and flinging oil everywhere. A valve cover has to have a gasket to stop some of that oil from leaking out the seam. When you do see oil around your valve cover, you know it’s time to replace the gasket.

You had absolutely no reason to take off the injector wire harness. That was a waste of time. You are the only one in their videos that does that.

I changed my head gasket 5 years ago and also changed my valve cover gasket while doing so. Found that my valve cover is leaking already, only did 30k with the car... seems like a redundant problem on these engines
