the steering wheel in an RS3 is an absolute no-go in my opinion. The color looks very cool! The center console with the piano lacquer is very susceptible to scratches. Great Video!!
Thank you! And yes I agree the steering wheel is not great and needs an aftermarket carbon flat bottom, and the piano black hurts because of the scratches it will get. The turbo blue is my personal favorite on this car though, it’s flashy and super clean on the road!
In Sweden we don’t have this round ugly steering wheel, just with the flat bottom

Great car but there is one thing i cannot stand and its a huge deal breaker. That damn "shaver styler" gear lever. Porsche did it too but they went back. What a terrible decision.
Steering wheel too, last gen was 10x better
Ordered mine in February. Should be here in July. Steering wheel, i hate it.

@@RealSpeed That’s the plan but from what i read on the forums apparently the flat bottoms wont work with the lane assist. Not sure how true that is.

Yeah but your charged an extra 20k MSRP for a car that’s practically the same. Nice interior updates sure, exterior is nice but the old gen was just as clean, and the power band feels practically the same. It was just my opinion that the difference wasn’t all that different. It’s not something that is bad, it was just something to point out. Usually new performance cars have a 20-40hp jump not just 1 with a lower peak. The MK7.5 Golf R went from 292 to 315 in the MK8. The BMW M4 comp went from 444 to 503 so that’s all I was saying
@RealSpeed It gained nearly 20ft pounds of torque and it hits much lower in the revs!! Also, the car handles much better with the torque vectoring that transformed the way it takes corners!
Ok ok I can get on board with that. But I still feel like the new ones are less aggressive than the previous gen. I feel like it’s more of a daily while the old gen was almost track like. I’m not sure what it is but I feel like it’s missing something lol it could just be me. The new gen’s are still pretty though and definitely fast!
