No APR hight torque tune is limited to DSG tune. which means it will not push the DGS beyond its Max Factor Torque settings. You need the DGS Tune to unleash the high Torque ECU tune. You not having 110 more HP before DSG tune.

What happened with your APR tune?

If you're never planning to do a Stage 2 tune, would you still go with APR?

Soooo jealous of you and how smooth your IE experience has been. I ordered the powerlink and after waiting for a week I finally got it. Ran out to the garage and got the charger on and followed every steps for the flash then I hit a snag The powerlink would not communicate with the ECU. After trying for 5 hrs I gave up and went over the log and there I saw a line with "CAN connection failed" 3 days exchanging email to finally get a replacement powerlink unit. So I told them to please send it 2 days shipping that I was paying for the shipping and instead it was sent regular. FedEx (worse shipper ever imo) has being playing ping pong with the package for 4 days in FL and 16 days after placing the order I still don't have anything to show for. Sorry for the rant my dude and I'm glad that it's working good for you.

The OBD eleven is a great scan tool perfect if your working on your car winding back rear brakes for the e brake etc things that only a work shop could do before thats where this tool makes its a must, agree the credits are annoying a pro version is better i havent upgraded to ultimate as not required ive two VWs unless your a garage or own a fleet of VWs. was a good video would say a lot of the coding in the apps does reqiure the car/van not to be running/idle

If you do full e85 with IE flex tune it’s way faster

I have a mk5 gti and I did 3in high flow catted downpipe and a resonator delete, stock muffler, and its the PERFECT sound for the 2.0t

I'm considering on doing a muffler delete on my vw golf gti but I'm to afraid tho imma mess up the fule shit like i did on my old car any advice or tips?

i think personally actually buying an exhaust sounds better then jus res n muffler delete .

How about some hard numbers: Dragy 0-60 & quarter mile; drag strip time slip. People quote HP & TQ numbers all day long but actual performance numbers are where the rubber meets the road.

I think you would be happy with the factory exhaust with that downpipe.

I got the same setup with the mbrp catback and i was planning to cut it off But i was afraid of raspy sound Did it really get louder without the muffler ?

Whats the setup? I don't get that kinda turbo spool with mys setup sadly. I have the ARM downpipe and the midpipe delete with the stock muffler and don't get that at all lol

Hopefully you see this, would you say the apr intake needs an aftermarket intake pipe? Does it make much difference to the sound? I’m not sure if it’s worth buying one separate as it doesn’t come with one.
