This is the most impressive animation I've seen in blender, If I didn't know it was made in blender I would have thought It was actual camera footage, amazed that you created this in only 1.5 weeks! Incredible work on this!
Beautiful! First time in over 30 years (since the Yamaha Morpho) that I'm actually surprised by a futuristic concept and saying to myself "this could well be the future of motorcycles". Well done. 👍👍
Thanks! He of course is a big inspiration! But in this case we started with a much more lighthearted design, and only when we got to the texturing and world buidlibg did we make it much more cruel and dark (:
@@cgboost yeah something like that! It took us quite a while to create the bike and rider etc, but once I had the assets it was fairly easy to animate these simple scenes (: I mostly have the music to thank because it guided the feeling
Tahnks for the nice comment. Yeah it can be a tricky one to get a sense of speed. Luckily there wasn't so much riding in this video :P my next video will be full driving ;)
Really awesome work ! This piece had such a strong tone to it, I felt very immersed, not only that but your compositing game was spot on ! I look forward to seeing more from you.
I'm not exaggerating. It's the best concept bike I've ever seen. I can say this about the animation: Man, this quality, this music, camera transitions. It's a whole. It's a masterpiece. I love everything Andre does. Hydra is a great project. Keep it up, man!
Thanks dude! Yeah maybe I will? Someone else seemed interested also. Honestly I only just started using it but yeah there are about 8 different things I added to the footage to make it into what you saw. I also answered someone else in the comments below about which things they were (:
@@andretaylforth It is really incredible that you have just started using something and already you're creating finished pieces from your knowledge. I think watching you work on streaming while also talking about mindset and stuff would be a great way to learn and will also skyrocket your channel 😁
@@aashay well honestly I find it far easier than premiere pro. Performance wise also. But yeah, I'm trying to think of how I can start with any kind of usefully knowledge for a tutorial. Thanks again (:
Terrific job! Liked and subscribed. Keep it up, hope to see more. :) Also, when you make these projects, would be great (if you can) a follow up with you describing the process of creation. Don't mean a complete tutorial, that would deserve a dvd, but a briefly description of the steps followed. Don't mind the editing: record the desktop and speak over. For example, I'm curious about the rendering process. You modeled the single scenes and then rendered their animations, correct? Then joined them in DVR and composed the short movie. How long did it take to render the scenes, in general? And what hardware did you use? Did you use Nvidia with Optix and CyclesX.
Thanks so much! Yeah I definetely wasn't thinking about this beforehand as its my first short. But yeah I'm already thinking about making a video for this as a few people have asked already now ;) in general each frame took about 10-20 seconds to render. It was done in cycles x with an rtx 3090
Hello! You have a great job. I need to make a similar animation in blender for my thesis. Please tell me which video lessons you used to teach Davinci?
Thanks! I’m not sure exactly how I learned. But you might want to check out the ‘agx colour space for .exr files’ that will give you the basics of how to bring the best images over to davinci. Another tip would be to look at ‘dehancer’ it’s a great plugin for davinci that can help you better replicate real footage from a camera

The Nothing Motorcycle (1)
For real 😂
Every time I watch this I get shivers down my spine, gosh... , hats off dude.
I feel humbled! Thanks for the awesome feedback
Love the Chopin's piece in the background, so good
Yeah it’s so good! Almost felt like a cheat code when animating with it
this is absolutely beautiful . You deserve way more subscribers.
Aww thank you!
That was crazy. this dude is a beast
Thanks dude! Much appreciated 🙏
I love how simple yet so detailed everything is, great cinematography work!
Wow thanks for the awesome comment
That bike looks sick as hell.
Thanks buddy! (:
Amazing shot! Makes me think of William Landgren's Volta.
this type of work can get you a job enywhere you want, might be the best presentation i have seen
I wish it was that easy! But thanks for the nice words (:
Beautiful! First time in over 30 years (since the Yamaha Morpho) that I'm actually surprised by a futuristic concept and saying to myself "this could well be the future of motorcycles".
Well done. 👍👍
Thanks for the awesome comment! Obviously things like the seat are too flat etc for reality, but glad it got you inspired ;)
This design is in a league of its own. Nothing feels borrowed. Everything just breathes perfectly.
There were definetely multiple inspirations. But hopefully we were able to remix them in a way that feels fresh (: so thanks!
I don't understand how people make this stuff, that's so cool!
cheers! i used to think the exact same. its lots of small lessons you learn all combined into one big thing (:
Congratulations man! Amazing work, everything is so perfect!!
thanks for the kind words (:
Not only the animation but the cinematography and the music is blended so well together! Great Job!
Thank you 😊

1 word, Beautiful ! I am a die hard Motorbike fan and this was out of this world! Thank you for the great art!
Haha thanks so much for the awesome feedback (:
At first I thought it was another Ash Thorp inspired work but I was wrong. The design of the motorcycle is very unique! Well done
Thanks! He of course is a big inspiration! But in this case we started with a much more lighthearted design, and only when we got to the texturing and world buidlibg did we make it much more cruel and dark (:

Insanely good.
Thanks so much! Thanks for wonders of the machine tools!
Amazing. 👍
Thanks! (:
Really well done, I felt I could almost touch the bike!
Haha thanks!
To work at a scale that helped convey motion and speed... very impressive. Establishing a sense of speed in an animation is really challenging.
Tahnks for the nice comment. Yeah it can be a tricky one to get a sense of speed. Luckily there wasn't so much riding in this video :P my next video will be full driving ;)
This is so good. The modeling, lighting, and cinematography is top-notch. 317/10

Thanks! And I'm glad (: I think I have a long ways to go, but I made this after 3 and a half years of 3d. And before that I was a graphic designer (:

That's cool, can you recommend any blender courses or UA-cam channels?
