Surviving on Homemade Houseboats!

- We designed and built homemade houseboats but one we had 100 hours to complete and the other only 1 hour! Ever speed run a house boat build? We then flipped a coin to see who would have to survive on the 1 hour house boat overnight!

Nice video
Bro this video is sick!!
that one hour boat...stood the test of time!
sup bro
nice
No way youtube❤
hi youtube thank you for making this app
Only 4 replies and 17 likes let me fix this
You guys are getting older, but not growing up… and that is the BEST part of the Dangie Bros! Forever young!
Facts
Still acting like kids🥹
Growing up Is optional but growing old is mandatory
Is that a compliment or a roast 💀
I agree! Keep it up and pleeeeeaaaase don't change.
I love seeing two brothers work together instead of argue.
Truw
*ahem* Nikocado avocado…
@Seamus Gurung 😋😋 I was kind of doubting that, but thanks for the _clarification_ ...
They did find out which boat will be for who after building them.
Me and my brother would be at eachothers throats in less then 2 minutes of seeing eachother
Having not really been a fan of the "obviously bad thing made cheaply/quickly vs obviously good thing made objectively better" format, this is the best instance of it I've seen.
Having both people working together to make the best version of each Whilst not knowing which they'll get to use makes this concept much more fair and enjoyable.
Good on ya, Dangie bros!😄
Damn
Amen 🙏
Jeff: have a nice day
Lady: you too kiddo
Jeff: *EMOTIONAL DAMAGE*
Would love to see these type of videos in a longer format. Would be fun to see more of the build process and then the actual experience. Impressed you squeezed all those hours building and floating in 9 minutes.
More lie eight mins, I wish they made a shorter video, then a longer one going more in depth on what happend
RAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
Crazy to think that they started in their mom’s garden, shooting eachother with paintball guns. Would be cool to see a throwback video where they recreate their favorite/our favorite old videos
Would love that!!
💩
OK, I am amused that the 1-hour build appears to be slightly safer than the 100-hour build - though I agree that if you'd had a storm, that would not have been the case.
Yeah
its because its less top heavy and thereby more stable
This is seriously an awesome video! The sheer amount of work put into their content is unreal!
I can't get over how talented the actors/performers in this video are. Amazing!
😂😂 you guys are hilarious, not to mention super creative and crafty! First time here but now I’m hooked!
Jeff: "Have a good day ma'am"
Store employee: "You too kiddo"
*WASTEDDDD*
Forgot you guys even existed lol good too see you back! hopefully more regular content to come.
The other one looks so extremely cozy
This is the type of context that’s interesting yet simple love these survival type videos
How could this come on our feed after what has just happened... 😢
Yoo! I used to watch when I was younger, and I remember the backyard video's doing crazy challenges! Awesome to see how far you guys have come!!
bro just got called kiddo by a store employee💀
I love y’all’s content 😂 y’all should do one of those messy vids again, like the mystery button ones 😂
cool videos happy I came across you guys 🤙 definitely stealing that outer interior design on the cabin for mine 😂 and a amazing way to make those barrels not sink just fill them with foam
Its been a while but i missed you guys, glad to see you still making bangers like the good old days, hope robs doing good
I love how Jeff is flexing about the 1 hour boat criteria is filled.. BUT HE CAN’T EVEN MOVE 😂😂😂
“No paddles”
I feel you Jeff. Because honestly you do kind of look like a teenager. Plus you're not the only one who isn't even that old but still looks like an adult.
I think those might be the best cardboard boats/boxs I have ever seen besides Chris's boat Lol
i’m going on a family houseboat vacation in northern minnesota in 6 days. this vid makes me much more excited! ❤
the you got it? what? you got it? what? Is so funny Nostalgia is hitting me😂
Absolutely love these guys. I remember when i discovered this channel in 2019 i think?? Eh whatever. Anyway, I've been a fan eversince then and i enjoy checking out the channel every once in a while.
Also could you guys possibly bring back the videos where you made apocalypse weapons?? They were fun.
Unqualified boat makers made good homemade boats 😮
Every time I feel like the coin flip is scripted, it’s Jeff every single time!!
Haha love the way Chris draw Jeff sinking that made me laugh lol
Hey guys! I loved this video but I wished it could’ve been longer! I’ll watch no matter what but just a suggestion!
Thanks for the feedback!
True
@@DangieBros ay what u actually read these
just got to say, I LOVE this editing style ❤❤
“I look like i know what im doing. But i dont”😂 so relatable😂
The Dangie Bros are literally the best UA-camrs of all time
Damn, they fit a lot in only 8 minutes
I would desire to live in a house on the water...but in light of the fact that it might sink at some point.......I think I'll just take a house that's near water! LOL😁
It's okay till the tides come and obliterate your little beach house
More wood for grandma, one of the best things I’ve ever heard.
I love the way you used Minecraft items, houses, food to lay out the plan
your channel is becoming so much better!
keep it up!
nice to see two brothers having fun without stealing content :) keep it up
Fr
"Put me on there."
"Chris, you're not a plank!"
Imagine if Jeff's boat capsized that would be so funny 🤣🤣🤣
Dangie Bros for life! You guys are awesome!
I was suspecting the house boat will have problems... when designing a boat weight is important, and not just weight of the boat but the weight of passangers. Those metals plates + battiers + other stuff were likely not calculated in when designing the boat.
i havnt watched yall guys in a hot min i forgot yall existed lollllll do another with morejstu
That canopy is the real hero here 😂
Jeff: your just gonna watch me struggle?
Chris: I have to film…..it’s for the content……
Those houseboats look very good
❤
Jeff as soon he was called kiddo:*EMOTIONAL DAMAGE*
Suggestion: Building a gaming room on a boat/homemade raft
Started watching dangie bros recently...
Now waiting for videos ❤
Yes whenever you guys upload you make my day. Keep up the great work boys
Man, the old dangie bros were a key memory for me
Now you should do 100 hour boat vs 1 week boat
So glad to see another tiny house video! Just like the old days!
Could you do an extended version of this? Kind of like your raft video but possibly survive a week and it would be different with not upgrading everyday and having more time to build the boats. Obviously this is just a request so it’s fine if you don’t and I doubt you’ll see the comments but anyways.
imagine being able to actually visualize this type of stuff in your heads, and then build it with your bare hands
"I told you...I told you...😂😂😂" Me and my brother often ridicules each other...
This is really impressive keep it up well done
Back To The Boats
LOVE IT!😆
The boat episodes are amazing (well, all of them are). It's just like a classic episode in terms of clothes, appearances, jokes and content.
Man I love these guys😂
Btw can I love in the 100 hour boat please😅
Me at 24 - says "you're a kiddo" with no hesitation XD
Love your videos. Can’t wait to see what happens.
These people never fail us.
Put all the weight in one side of it, structural engineering genius on full display
*store employee calls Jeff kiddo* Me: 😂😂😂😂
Neat challenge. Cool boat houses. Thanks for sharing
On the 100 hr when he sead what? What? What? What?
please do one where the time it takes to build the raft you have to stay in it. (if you take 5 hours to build you have to stay 5 hours on the raft)
Hey I’m new too this channel and you guys are poppin off wit these videos keep up the great work🎉
Nice I love the building vids y’all are the best UA-camrs ❤
Honestly, I don’t mean to be rude, but cardboard is not a good idea
Everyone knows that but ok
Bro they had 1 hour go away…😅
“You too kiddo” I feel ur pain my dude 😅
Hey cris and Jeff I have been watching yalls videos for a while now and I just wanted to say keep up the good work
4k I see you
Spread the gospel 😊
I just got back from boot camp…time to binge watch every video that was posted while I was gone💀
Jeff got way to excited listing off all of the reasons why it was a houseboat
You're coping Ryan trhahan
First
Yes
Dannie bros I love you guys my day starts with you. I get angry when Jeff gets the luxury things I always want chris to win
Omg i just adore you guys. I laugh and laugh. U are so cute on top of everything you do. I dont know how i got these videos but im very happy i did
where do all the materials go after you use them once? do you just throw them in the trash? seems like a very wasteful channel
yup... these guys aren't exactly environmentalists lol
i always love that cris always gets bad thigs jeff gets good thigs but never wins in chalges cris wins them all
Love these vids keep it up
Store employee: you too kiddo
Jeff: …
im a og to this channel and my phone got destroyed and i cant find this channel but its Good to see yall again and i still remember the buttons its so funny can you make another video about it?
Awesome video! Y’all make me nervous with electricity on water 🫣
The house boat look so amazing. I thought Chris was gonna get it but Jeff got it but on the morning it was sinking.
Dude that boat is awesome you should fill the barrels with spray foam so it doesn't sink that looks so badass!!!
These cinematics are the best IVE ever seen not gonna lie
Hey Dangie bros I just wanna say thank you for the nostalgia😂
I think to improve the 1 hour version i would have gotten the 1 inch pink foam board 4x8 sheets with an inflatable lake raft (8x6) cut some windows out with plexi glass for windows that mount using velcro. Have a velcro door too.make it 2 feet tall for stability sake and have pop outs in the roof that are windows so you arent hunched over. Also it makes ir less likely to tip only being 2 feet tall. Can still do the pvc pice thing and now you have handles from the radt to attach to. Wouldnt weigh much, waterproof, if you get caught in the rain you have shelter, you have ventilation and sort of a way to retain heat (granted you wouldnt want to run any heater due to tipping concerns, its more less out of the rain, out of the wind and if you are lucky a sterno canned heat kept in like a metal pan with the velcro door slightly up higher so there is a vent at the bottom.
Hello dangle bros. I just want to say that you guys are legends and made my childhood. I was wandering if you could please make another budget challenge with Rob or Rayan, the three of you competing many thx
This is a pet peeve of mine. People going out and building these "faux boats" using barrels, totes, storage bins and such, not realizing the risk, and not taking the steps needed. they will drill holes in them without adding sealant, over load them weight wise, or not realize that under weight they could collapse or crumple, removing any buoyancy.
They ignore the fact that stores, even like Home Depot sell modular marine floating docks. that are MADE to have stuff screwed on them them, and each has weight ratings... so you know how much you can build on + weight of passengers. For example, a single 36x48" float will hold 500 pounds. So 2 of them would be 72x48 base or 6foot by 4 foot. if bolted togeather. However you could spread them apart to cover a 6x8 foot area, with 1000 pounds of person and lumber on top. Thats enough for a 400 pound shed, 100 pounds of supplies and 1-2 people. under 200 lbs each.
Now when you go up to 4 of them spread for stability... or maybe 5 in an x patern. 2500 lbs weight, with a base thats 12' long x 9' square platform that safe and stable if bolted togeather with the thick bolts and 4x4's. a wooden 8x6 shed centered on that for stability, weighs in around 600 pounds... add in wood stove, gas, etc... and you have a floating cottage. Thats MADE to float.
FINALLY!!! building videos are back 🤧🥺
Next time you guys build a house boat, maybe you should try using wooden barrels?
Me when there’s no marshmallows in my lucky charms😭
A dangie bro HQ is cool that is in the city . Cool. All your videos are awesome and always make me laugh when you guys do something hilarious.
