Me encanta este hombre, mirá que estoy enamorado de sus canciones, pero no pensé que seguía cantando, es fantástico la fuerza que tiene, un fuerte abrazo para éste tío,

MR ERIC BURDON IN OLD SONG ,WITH TALENT IN RESPECT FROM CREATOR THIS MYTIC SONG?MR JAY HAWKINS R.I.P.. THANKS ÉRIC.JACKYFAN 👍GUITARIST SOLIST VERY GOOD USAGE WHAMMY COMPLIMENTS FROM BAND👍""THE TRUE SPIRIT ANIMALS SINCE""RESPECT.
for some of the other "oldies" in rock, their voices have remained the same...others have aged as it seems for eric...but so glad to see that he still rocks!
He didn't changed much. His eyes are still the same ( naughty ). He does look good for a man that's in his 70s . If you look at him on UA-cam you find out that he is still adorable funny and a very good singer. I said it.....
Interesting how closely this has kept to the original arrangement by Screamin' Jay Hawkins. There have been a lot of covers, notably by Nina Simone. but my favourite of them is by Alan Price, who was in the Animals with Eric Burden originally, and changed the arrangement completely. But Eric's voice is and always has been in a class of its own.
The problem with all (?) versions later than Screamin Jay and Nina is that they leave out that they leave out that wonderful line about going yo Africa (SJ) or Alabama (NS) to pick up some mojo to cast said spell. I might have them opposite.
GENTILMENTE EU LHE PEÇO PARA REAGIR AO ARTISTA: ZL RIOS - MÚSICA: BLUES DI CÉU. ARTISTA: ZL RIOS - MÚSICA: LIBERDADE. E ARTISTA: RETZ E CIA - MÚSICA: ESTRALA GUIA. GRATO!
UA-cam's autoplay started this while I wasn't looking & I would have sworn it was Screaming Jay Hawkins singing his own song. Great! Strong band, too. How come we thought Jagger was the great rock singer of his time?
people see what happen when you get old this man was the shit back than voice still great put the looks down in limbo by the way check out Bryan Ferry I put a spell on you his voice is great too
Normally i think all the rockers from the 60s should hang it up (grace slick has said same) but i gotta say Burdon shows that at least some of the 60s rockers still got it! Saw the Animals in 83 or thereabouts and they put on one of the best shows i ever saw. They were astounding!! Recmnd u chase down their recordings from around that time and that live LP they also made.
Yes, some do pay homage to Screamin' Jay Hawkins and clearly it is regarded with a kind of awe by the devoted. Some should never touch this song. Marylin Manson does an interesting version, he has an ear for a great song.
It's not how i think about it, it's how grace slick thinks about. I just happen to agree. RnR USED to be rebelion. By definition almost, rebellion is a young person's game. Ergo...etc.
Eri c has a new Bass player--Someone ought to ask him what happened to the-- 80's Animals reunion footage--like Mariana --!!!--I know who she is--she's his manager etc.--------Charlie
Ehh, the band dont cut it.shuggy otis has got you wooped. Sry. I prefer older eric burden even when i met you onstage in a gymnasium in Hoff Germany. Circa 86 87, . We were the only G.I.s there. Yuup that was me. Made the paper. I will never forget it! My daughter was there in the womb.
bass player is gorgeous...but not "hot" as a musician. Eye candy dudes. I saw EB in 1984 in S.F. and that was one of the best shows i ever saw. He was in his 40s then i believe. He absolutley kicked ass. One of THE greatest singers from the 60s era. However, he (and me!) is too old now...retire my man. You've done ur bit. It's time.
This is not my favorite version of the song. Eric clearly got inspired by the original song by Screamin Jay Hawkins here (which isn't my favorite either. But Eric has always been one of my favorite singers. I liked the first Animals version much better. Nina Simone's I like best.
Few rockers keep stuff fresh...keep exploring and actually creating new good music. Neil Young comes to mind. Stones? Hideous. When's the last hit they had? Decades ago. Ditto McCartney, Brian Wilson. It's nice they can still earn a living...but rNr is a young person's game...or should be. GSlick: Anyone 71 years old would look ridiculous singing rock & When a rapper gets old he’ll look sappy holding his crotch and making finger signs and wearing ‘bling’ and talking about my ‘b***h.’"
To each his own...but rNr is not a young persons game...& im sure that when rappers mature their not thinking about holding their crotches if that's how you think about them....I don't....baka
The best singer in the history of planet Earth. It's just unbelievable how beautiful is his voice, from 1964 till today.
Eric Burdon--PUT A SPELL ON YOU --THE BEST SINGER FOREVER THAT I HAVE SEEN
Great to see Eric still Rockin'. He's a legend.

still a very great performer,my personal favorite
Burdon is almost unrecognizable, physically....but he's still got the voice. A great version of this Screamin' Jay Hawkins classic.
Voice and attitude is the same. :)
He's still a hot guy. Older or not!
Usia55 Amen!!!!
He didn't changed much. His eyes are still the same ( naughty ). He does look good for a man that's in his 70s . If you look at him on UA-cam you find out that he is still adorable funny and a very good singer. I said it.....

I´m sure he´s copying to Jay

Nice and surprising key solo!

Sorry but the performance number one of that song was made by the great ALAN PRICE !!!!

Im suprised ober there they liked do not let me be misunderstood much more than house of the rising sun. My girl black girl.
@thruthefence You mean the sixties ?
It's not how i think about it, it's how grace slick thinks about. I just happen to agree. RnR USED to be rebelion. By definition almost, rebellion is a young person's game. Ergo...etc.

crazypainter56 I’ve seen a lot of videos from the reunion. You just have to look, that’s all
It was Chas Chandler, not Eric!

i just got through watching joss stone and jeff beck do this song..... and this isn't bad but is lacking~
This is not my favorite version of the song.
Eric clearly got inspired by the original song by Screamin Jay Hawkins here (which isn't my favorite either.
