That’s a great idea! I also think using a old weekly page with the layout your currently using and tape the wax paper to it.That way you could just stick them where you actually want them to go.

Hi Heather. Love the video because I love wax paper and use it to preplan every spread. A couple of tips though. 1. The wax on the paper does deteriorate after multiple uses. I replace mine after 4 or 5 uses. 2. Any leftover stickers should be put back in sticker books or sheets. Eventually the stickers will become stuck permanently to the wax paper. I'm not sure why but I lost a couple of beautiful stickers. ☹ So use caution when planning out too many weeks in advance. I hope this helps all the newbie wax paper users.

Could try using washi tape along the spine on both sides of wax paper before punching (Lord knows we all have extra washi tape laying around). That would prob sturdy it up some instead of using paper...then you could have both sides of the wax paper to use for more space. Could even lay wax paper on top of a blank weekly page to preplan where you might want to lay out stickers so you have an idea of how many stickers you might need. Good thing about the wax paper is you can always change your mind if you decide you don’t like where they are laid out!!! 🥰💕

I love this idea. Last summer I made a leftover sticker book just like this. I ended up having to switch to parchment paper because the wax was melting and the stickers wouldn't come off. The parchment paper is still working great. I might have to make more pages to preplan like this. - CarissaVeronicaDesigns

This is a great idea if you are doing your planning away from your supplies. My friend and I get together once a month to plan and instead of taking ALL my sticker books with me to her house, I can preplan my spreads on pages like this and then actually place them with her at her house. Thanks Heather!

This is so smart! I was collecting all the sheets that have only a few stickers left and I initially had them just in a pocket in my happy planner... but that made it so fat and I kind of hated it! I'm literally switching over now as I watch this. 1 sheet for to do lists, 1 sheet for moods, 1 sheet for labels, etc. Etc etc... so excited, it's so much neater!!

Can’t wait to see you use this page in your planner. The flowers and color scheme is beautiful. One thing I would do is write on the wax paper where I got the boxes, etc. from because by the time I use the page I might have forgotten. That way I could go back to that sticker book to get more boxes or checklists, etc. if I need them.

Amazing idea! Being a newbie I find planning my spreads to be stressful which is the opposite of why I’m using a planner! Also learning what stickers are in each book is a bit overwhelming! Doing it this way will make it so much more fun! I almost wish there was a list for every sticker book to refer to! Lol that would take more time than I have! 😂 Thank you so much for sharing this! The base sheets that the clear stickers come on are thicker and nicer then the sheets that matte/paper stickers come on.
It's also easy to remove the whole plastic background sticker and rearrange your clear stickers to make space and combine pages. (That way you can steal one of those nice thick pagwse for reusing stickers from a book you already have.)

You sparked an idea I've been thinking...what about photo copying your actual weekly vertical pages that your using in your planner, print out however many weeks you want to preplan for, and put them under the wax paper, that way you can actually see where the stickers are going to go, that would make it even faster, knowing where your already going to place them in your real pages ya know? Sorry if so confusing. Lol

It is perfect for preplanning or if I come across a sticker I didn’t know I had but was thinking of a sticker like it so I can go ahead and pull it out and have it laying out so when I think of it again it’s there. I hope that makes sense lol 🤷🏻‍♀️

I found myself talking to you during the video. Trying to warn you that wax paper was too flimsy to stay on the discs and then that the adhesive tape wouldn’t take on the wax paper. But I like that you troubleshooted while doing it so people could see the issue and your quick thinking for a remedy. I watched a couple of videos last week from another HP planner girl that uses wax paper to plan out her whole layout/spread. She lays wax paper over her week/pages and lays down stickers and plans where to put them all. It was interesting. But I think just grabbing what you like that goes together is better. Less overthinking.

I totally had the same idea, but to make a sticker book. Also, I think freezer paper would be sturdier. I have way too much going on to be able to sit down and actually do it atm, but I will get to it. In the meantime, wish someone would try it out. You would only be able to use the front page, because the back is normal paper. But, from past experience, when removing small stickers sometimes we bend the paper and the ones on the back could be damaged. If someone tries it out, I would love to hear about it!
