This was a much needed video for me. I was feeling like my planner was redundant in that I was writing the same things in my monthly as in the rest on the planner. If that makes sense. So starting in 2020, I’m going to use my monthly for budgeting and bills. What a great idea.
Love your Bible verse! Great ideas! Thanks for all the inspiration. There are many who do not know what to put in the vertical planner. I think any of these ideas are things you can pick and track in a in that area.. Pick three and each row is dedicated to those ideas..The month at a glance can then be used for appointments and to do lists.
Love the different ideas. I'm going to use a few different ones for variety. I thought another idea could be word of the day to expand your vocabulary or fact of the day to increase knowledge. Also if you were learning a new language then a new word each day too could be helpful.
In 2009, I had an historical preservation project involving my husband's high school. We had to scan all the yearbooks they had to save them on a website. My daughter (A BIG THANK YOU) helped me by doing half. But, we put 2 years on each monthly square, 5 days a week not counting weekends and vacations (during the summer) and we managed to finish all of them before she went back to school. She was 80 pages short of finishing her last one, so I did it, but we were done! In short, this is a way to schedule a big project and know if you're on track.
It would also be good for Christmas planning: Plan one week, shop one week, bake/cook one week, decorate one week, send cards one week, etc.

Love these ideas! My two favorite ideas are cleaning and keeping track of spending. It would be really great to be able to look at two pages to be able to see what you spent or what you cleaned for the whole month!
Such a help. I know I am stumped sometimes trying to fill in all the days. Got some great ideas to definitely put to use. And has got my wheels turning on some other things to put down. Like a song of the day. 🎵

That lettering is to die for. So envious. I tried practicing mine for a month. It was a no go. I do want to try the font like the word FOOD was written in. That might be doable with a double tip marker.
