suns have 44 wins and are they’re the 7th seed. bucks have 47 wins and they’re the 2nd seed. the west is still the tougher conference with the most contenders, someone has to be at the bottom.

Suns are 30-16 with a top 5 record since Beal came into the lineup after Christmas. The overreaction to this team is ridiculous especially a team that just formed. Also when healthy they look pretty good to me just not perfect. Defense has gotten better every month of the season and sits 12-13 rn. So they have a good shot as any to beat anybody in the west. Also there next 3 opponents they already beating and haven’t loss to them all season. A lot of 🧢 on the suns coverage by national media. Wonder why🤔?

That’s because Nuggets are one of the bottom teams in 3 pt attempts per game. Look it up. Suns will have a chance against any of those teams because of that. It’s the high volume 3 pt shooting teams that burn them and that’s been the case every year. They never learn. Strategy every year is hoping other teams miss 3s so they don’t have to expend any energy to contest the shots. Nobody is a pest on the perimeter and it’s an obvious problem.
I still don't know why people think the nuggets are unbeatable. They still need to show they can go back to the finals for them to get even more respect. I will wait for that to happen

Beal is just not as big of a player as people hyped him to be. Big 3 was a stretch tbh and I knew his impact wasn't gonna be that big.
I hope you can tell that he is sacrificing a lot of his game for the team though! I still wish he would be more aggressive at times.

plus they forget a % of his numbers in WAS had prime wall....a solid top 5 PG at his best day.....and after he left....beal was a PRIME 30 shot a night....first option....they really talk like its that EASY to slot into being a 3rd option after doing that for so many years with such lil coaching too.

When was the last time Beal has been healthy enough to be elite. No one could say Beal has been the Suns' 3rd best player this year. Grayson Allen has been their 3rd best player by performance if not by name.

Also, the Suns don’t just have 3 guys, they have one of the best rebounding centers in the league right now in Nurkic, AND they have the leading 3 point shooter in the entire league right now who is a straight up sniper in Grayson Allen so the Suns starting 5 is scary on offense. They just need to minimize TO’s and step up the defense more which they have been doing the past 2 months.

Problem for Phoenix is they have 3 great midrange shooters that create off the dribble. Historically, midrange is a bad shot because you usually create it off the dribble so it's contested with little space. They need a distributor and they need coach to get them to play off-ball and learn to move the ball without the dribble. If they can figure it out, they'd have 3 25+ point scorers a night with great paint presence.
Well you have to have mid-range scorers to win a championship

Suns are just lazy defensively. That’s all it is. It’s completely unserious and they make the game unwatchable the way they defend sometimes. On offense, there’s not a team in the league they couldn’t compete with and they’ve shown that against Nuggets multiple times. It’s also a personnel and coaching problem because they play 3 guards in the starting lineup and act like most teams best scorers aren’t frying Grayson Allen at the POA every time he gets switched on to them since they don’t have an actual wing defender starting.
