    I like Kippers and was recently wondering if there were any recipes for making patties with them. Now I will try this. Thanks!

      Very welcome! We eat these quite regularly. I also made them as balls before, like meatballs (but then I make sure the fish meat is very well ground so they don't fall apart). The 'balls' are nice as snacks with a dipping sauce, over a salad or on pasta with a cream sauce. The cans have a really decent shelf life, always nice to have some protein on hand without clogging up the freezer.

      @@homesteadinginnorthflorida, thanks for the additional info. I will try those too. I’ve always kept the canned Kippers for a quick snack, and like them with Louisiana Hot Sauce or Tabasco. I eat them with Fritos! But the other day I was wondering if they could be made into fish patties like salmon patties, and then your video showed up in my suggested video feed! Serendipity, I guess!
