I heard it was a comparison to sales with the playstation version of both Mega Man 8 and X3 having sold more on the playstation than on Saturn and SNES. which when you consider how poorly the Saturn itself sold and how X3 was released at the end of the SNES's lifespan, it's somewhat understandable why they sold better on playstation. Still, it would have been nicer if they went with what was better as opposed to what sold better. Sometimes, the better selling version is not the better version overall.
Yes. Jennifer Sekiguchi voiced Mega Man in Mega Man 8, because Capcom had hired English speaking Japanese voice actors since the ADR was one in Haneda. Sekiguchi lived in Tokyo at the time. MM8's voice actors were all Japanese who could speak English. Sekiguchi also did Clown Man's voice. As for Mega Man X4: ADR was done in L.A by NGP. So X was voiced by Kate T. Voight.
