Looking into the nasty Enermax liquid cooler algae problem: ua-cam.com/video/HC1kzO_gIp4/v-deo.html
And if the intro wasn't clear, the case isn't that absurdly heavy, it's just that the straps make it harder to transport than carrying it like a normal person would carry a normal case. Very awkward positioning for those straps.

@@mitchell3876 I've had an 850 EVO for a while now and my boot times are already 6- 7s (desktop) on my laptop it's 1.8 - 2s- during school it'd be a running joke all I'd have to do is click the power button and I'm at the desktop whilst everyone else was still loading (everyone was given the same laptop but I took the liberty to modify mine as it would soon be handed off to my mom). Most people don't realize that you've often times got either unimportant or unnecessary services/apps that slow you down. You can go into your task manager > Startup. Chief among these offenders can be things like Microsoft OneDrive, ItunesHelper, Steam, Dashlane, Backblaze, Logitech gaming (or other peripheral apps). If you disable them you have nothing to lose. Because, if you need (say) to access your onedrive, what do you normally do? Open it. Thus why have additional things running and slowing you down when you can either stop them or have them start delayed. Also, simply because you disable it, doesn't mean it's not going to work. For example- in my scenario I have a G502 and K70 RGB keyboard. The profiles, macros, etc everything functions the same and you can see in the system tray that they indeed are working as normal, EXCEPT this time they aren't adding further delay for me to get into my desktop upon boot. The only thing(s) I wouldn't mess with are applications directly related to hardware that's responsible for the OS. Like Samsung RAPID mode. I leave it on but it's only 14ms.. Which is not only nothing but also a good measurement to see how everything else you have in relation stacks up. Another personal example is if I enabled ICUE (corsair's app) it's startup is roughly 18,000+ms. Significantly higher, now multiply that by whatever other things you've got going on you may not have been aware of! It can cut down a 15sec boot in half. Sure, it's just seconds. But hey for those interested I figured it was worth mentioning for the sake of discussion. :) Also I know I can't be the only one who likes to make tweaks here and there that are handy .

@@stevethea5250 thanks for the tips! Ive been using these for years. Some bloatware is a real pain in the ass with disabling in the startup. Ive found that setting the program's Services to "manual" helps. Also shortcuts to the program's source .exe can be placed in the Start Menu -> Startup directory, then those identified programs can be disabled at startup through Task Manager.

Gabriela was hesitant to take her with herself alone as she felt it would be unsafe to carry around a kid who was part of an unstable, illegal and inappropriate experiment conducted by dangerous people who can track the kid(s) and hunt them down. In this case, she could do not much about it. With Laura, she might feel safe, but although she is powerful, she is young and unstable, so that makes her dangerous as well
Logan, on the other hand, is an obvious choice. He is possibly father of one of the kids. He has managed his powers and has control over them.
He is powerful enough to protect them (which he does), and would be a kind of shield between her and them, in case those kids are out of control of her. Also, the fact helps that Logan is kind of established driver for some time which might be helpful while escaping.

You can modify this for what seems to be a pretty significant increase in airflow. The bottom air filter's "handle" blocks off much of the air gap on the bottom side of the glass. If you trim that back you get a much bigger gap in the bottom. Since I have no intake in the bottom I just pulled the filter completely off, with the shroud there I really don't expect dust to be an issue but I'll keep an eye on it.

I just installed my system into this case last night! Had been using a Corsair 700D full tower since 2011!
I don't quite remember the turning point but I have become quite the ROG fanboi over the years. I bought their 1200w Thor PSU at the same time as this case. Already had their 360mm AIO cooler, 4090 OC (the BIG BOI), Z690 Gaming Wifi board and their precious little RGB GPU anti-sag thingy.
But for some reason I'm using Corsair DDR5 memory, which is the only RGB component I have that isn't Aura Sync compatible... :(
Just FYI I'm running the stock fan configuration and the 360mm AIO is top mounted and setup in exhaust mode. I have not done any thermal testing yet.

I built the PC I'm using in a 2004 Antec 1080amg. It weighs 35.5lbs (16.1kg) empty, 1mm thick steal makes for a beefy box. It's not a pretty case, but between its looks and weight, a thief would probably just ignore it. Now I just need to figure out how I'm going to make this monitor look old and crappy. But modding this old case has been fun. Got my 1060 running at a max of 60C at full load on air. This channel has taught me so much. Thanks for the content !

wanted to comment on this as I have the very overpriced NGE themed version of this case and I admit I got it due to the NGE theme and it not being a bad case in a sea of NGE cases that are all trash..... I generally agree with every part of this video but overall am still very happy to this day with my case. No way am I moving it when I don't have a need, it is heavy, going up and down stairs is in fact scary..... but it has a great feeling of quality with the build itself, if I ever break it I did something very wrong I should have never done. I did get a asus PSU after updating some parts in the end and it does pair really well with it, additionally the psu I got displays the active wattage use and I actually like that feature a lot.... about the fan control button, I prefer having my system intelligently run the fans with a profile but there is a way to configure this to be the case it just isn't the way it comes out initially, I would change it if you don't want to be responsible for kicking it into high gear through a button when you need it. I also love the height and did not hear mention as it may be a given but this case stands higher off the ground and I don't see any potential need for something like a riser for it, it also was too large for my old riser and I think these two facts are not coincidental.... I over payed for a case but also I love it as I am a big NGE fanboy and the case is far from bad as stated, I would buy it again no questions.

Seeing how they did thermally now that they finally gave in to the full glass case bandwagon would be interesting. Not the first time Asus has tried breaking into the case market... about a decade or so back they did make budget $30-50 cases like Antec, Coolermaster & Thermaltake did but they also had a PC case called 'Vento' that looked like a stormtrooper helmet or a penis if you downed a shot of vodka, slapped yourself in the face real hard then squinted when you looked at it.
Im sure they had a small range of cases but competition exploded with the likes of NZXT. Antec, Coolermaster & Thermaltake. Thermaltake in particular seems less prevalent on the market as they did about 10-15years ago. When the market for gaming cases boomed, they were really strong and had some really good looking cases. One of my best cases from them was the 'Shark' case but they had so many more. They seemed to have tried their hand at everything but the market is so heavily contested that they almost just gave up and let themselves sink to the bottom. At least they are still trying though, Unlike Zalman -- another big name of days gone by that is nothing more than a shell of its former self.

It actually somehow seemed lighter after that. Probably because it wasn't so dense. Now I'm in the process of building a new one, using the Meshify C as the case. It's going to be heavier this time. I'm not going anywhere with it =P
