On The Sims dashboard, what profile are you using? Or are you using one that you made?
@jefffuzz I'm using one of the premade options from the Community tab in the app
Currently using a keyboard to play the game. Dumb question but need to ask: what would you recommend for steering wheel, pedals, and shifter? The button box (contains yellow diamond air brakes) is among one I need.
@FirebirdFreak87 I started out with a Logitech G29 and then moved up to a Thrustmaster T300. Both of these were great for the game but I also do racing when not trucking and I wanted better wheels for racing. I have some links in the description to what I used

Great video as always! That shifter is not on your list of peripheral, what kind of shifter is that, How long is the extension on top of the shifter and does it have a short throw? Because it looks like it does have a very short throw, even with a tall extension!
@steveboyer5109 thanks I appreciate it.... Previously I used a Thrustmaster TH8A that worked good with some minor tweaks but recently upgraded to a BDH.... it's expensive but it's one of the best realistic shifters out there. It has a short throw and you can really dial up the resistance to feel like the real thing.

Thank you for the response! I thought that was a BDH shifter. I am seriously considering that shifter for my truck simulator, it would mean a lot to me if you could tell me the total travel at the top of the shifter when you shift from forward to backward, and side to side. That will tell me if it will work for me or not. Also the total height from where the shifter base is to the top of the shifter. Yours looks like a much shorter throw than the gated shifter I have now so it would be amazing if you were able to reply to this request! Thank you again for the awesome videos!
@@steveboyer5109 it's about 6" movement at the top both front to back and side to side. The total height can be changed through different extension adapters on Amazon

@kongoxo thanks, I don't use any traffic mods.... the base game traffic is enough to drive me crazy at times!
@kongoxo there is some traffic mods by JazzyCat that change the vehicles, also some on Steam that change the intensity levels but I haven't used them to confirm
