is the longest perfectly straight stretch of the U.S. interstate highway system on I-80 between Lincoln and Grand Island actually perfectly straight? kinda disappointed scs didn't add that.
I know right? The skyline was pretty accurate and I was shocked to see the huge grain elevator at the 480/80 interchange. Just realized they have Fremont south of i80 though when it is NW of Omaha and very far north of i80
Hopefully they do a good job on it, I went there for my 41st birthday last year and it is MASSIVE, it has a lot of really cool stuff to buy inside of it.
I have to travel that stretch of 80 every few months now to go to the hospital in IC. It will be interesting to see how they handle that and the 280 bypass around Davenport.
Nice seeing my state in ATS finally. The detail is pretty good and surprisingly accurate actually. Bought a car from one of the dealerships in Norfolk you passed and it’s in just about the same spot that it is in ATS.
When you entered Norfolk and stopped at that intersection where you seen that billboard with the older cascadia. 14:23 IRL if you took a left over that bridge/overpass, you have a few a loves and a cenex fuel station. Further down is the Midwest peterbilt group Norfolk dealership as well as truck center companies/freightliner western star dealer. And before the 275 roundabout, on the left hand side IRL is the local John Deere and Dinkel’s new holland dealer. It’s not perfectly recreated but it’s close enough for me to recognize the area.
Glad that Nebraska has been added. Been watching and/or following your content since I ever got my first phone back at end of my 6th grade year. That has almost been 10 years crazy. It is nice to see what towns they have put in Nebraska. Lived in Nebraska my entire life and traveled the state through rodeo. Not a huge fan of that round a bout on 275 in Norfolk (Hometown). Wonder how other towns will look like. North Platte will be interesting with the one ways. My brain is going through what businesses or places are located and seeing what they put there. LOL. Keep up the content making. Watching your videos and the others makes my day. Great Job!
Another great ATS video Jeff, thanks! Great tradition that you give a little introduction to the new states! Always such an excitement to explore new content!
This is the first time I’ve ever commented on a UA-cam video but I gotta say I would absolutely love to see how they modeled Grand Island, maybe even a run from Grand Island to North Platte or Omaha from Jeff. Keeps me sane at work!
It’s always cool to see you play ATS and to see whatever new update is coming or is already out. Hope you’re doing well Jeff, have a great night and take care!
I used to live in the auburn-Brownville area right by the bridge to Missouri, I have to say that they did a great job with the details in-game. My old house can even be seen in the game as you go down the road in auburn headed to Brownville.
I've been watching your videos for years now and you never disappoint great content and great conversation keep the videos coming... Watching from fort Worth tx.
I just recently picked this game up for. 5 bucks and I’ve been loving it. You was talking about mystery roads and I found one in Page AZ. top left of the city take a right turn and it takes you into Utah for just a bit. I haven’t gotten the Utah map yet but it’s looking promising from that little trip
This was awesome I enjoyed this alot and can't wait to see more of this. Keep up the great work much love to ya Jeff have a good one take care god bless and I will see ya on the next one
22:50 been having lots of issues lately with ATS myself. Where id be doing 1440p60 rec, and my actual settings varying from medium to high, 1440p170fps. and ATS itself is maxing out my 3090 on its own even without recording, same goes froe ETS2 even thou granted there i have graphic enhance mods but to times that runs better than ATS
6:50 Yeah, Omaha got SLAMMED by Tornadoes on the 26th of April. I was watching the livestreams of weather coverage and storm chasers, it was like all hell was breaking loose over the state. Prayers and Condolences go out to those affected from Canada.
As a Nebraska native I feel I should inform you that we pronounce it as "Nor-fork" here. Don't ask me why, that's just how it is. It was quite the whiplash sensation when I recognized exactly where you were when you pulled out of the loading yard. Also, if only it were really that easy to get to Norfolk from Fremont. That road is substantially longer irl and it's two lanes the whole way with heavy, SLOW, truck traffic just like you experienced.
5:59 - Actually, there's a good chance that Louisiana will come next after Missouri, especially since, when the 1.50 EOB first came out, some roads in northwestern Louisiana were shown on the map, including some roads that were in what I believe to be the city of Shreveport. I think only after Louisiana comes out will Iowa come after it.
Gotta love each new state! It's so much better than the old 'Coast to Coast' mod - where, in its initial release, the map would say a town's name...and all that would be there was an empty intersection - lol. SCS has always done so much better/realistic, just like you've always said. I'm anxiously awaiting the 16th - According to Steam, I've accumulated over 9,200hrs of playtime so far...though I imagine you've got more, since you've had the game since its release in 2016. I didn't get it until a few month's later, when Arizona was released
Realistically, Norfolk, Nebraska is only about 25,000 population. It's not a bad little town to live, fairly accurate with scaling and such. Looks good. Also, that weigh station on 275/20 near O'Neill is basically abandoned.
The stutters are strong with this update. I did however notice that the more I've played 1.50 the less and less they are over time. Had that same issue for a bit in 1.49 when it was released as well.
If you went south of Valentine or west into the panhandle, you'll see Nebraska doesn't look like the rest of the midwest. The Sandhills are quite unique.
Would've loved to see the perfectly straight stretch of the U.S. interstate highway system on I-80 between Lincoln and Grand Island but oh well it's beautiful regardless.
Whats up Jeff! I cant wait until Nebraska comes out alokg with 1.50. Big thanks to SCS Software for giving us this opportunity to visit all types of places we may have not been in real life.
I think they could’ve done more with Omaha, in the first few minutes, it goes from the i80 grain towers to farm land, ignored the entirety of western Omaha.
They had the older Cascadia in game already years ago and were about to put it ingame until the new one released in real life. But that easter egg might actually be true
im surprised that you wheel wiggling back and forth doesnt bug you at all. On another note SCS really is working double time and pumping out these states. we're gonna have all 48 before you know it. its be cool if they gave us 49 with alaska
As someone from the Omaha area that’s been around a majority of Nebraska… for a scaled down version… this is surprisingly accurate, it’s awesome
Did u know your brakes squeak now
is the longest perfectly straight stretch of the U.S. interstate highway system on I-80 between Lincoln and Grand Island actually perfectly straight? kinda disappointed scs didn't add that.
cant wait for them to get to the east coast so i can truly see how SCS portrays where I live and travel.. I-95 corridor will be a cool test
I know right? The skyline was pretty accurate and I was shocked to see the huge grain elevator at the 480/80 interchange.
Just realized they have Fremont south of i80 though when it is NW of Omaha and very far north of i80
Live in Omaha to
As a Native Nebraskan, I am so excited to get to drive this myself. Looks great from that I've seen so far, thanks for showing off my state!!!
I can't wait for Iowa to come out, I wonder what their version of the Iowa 80 Truck Stop will look like
In Coast to coast with Midwest expansion Iowa 80 truck stop wasn't very detailed but it had an Iowa 80 truck stop sign
@@joeblow5214 I go to UIHC there in IC for my eye doctors every year
@@TSenter82 I go there every year for the truck show and never get tired of it so much cool stuff
Nice seeing my state in ATS finally. The detail is pretty good and surprisingly accurate actually. Bought a car from one of the dealerships in Norfolk you passed and it’s in just about the same spot that it is in ATS.
As someone from the Grand Island area, its amazing to see they put my home town in it!
I grew up in the Norfolk area, I never realized how accurate ats actually is. The red horse you pointed out is actually there in real life
When you entered Norfolk and stopped at that intersection where you seen that billboard with the older cascadia. 14:23 IRL if you took a left over that bridge/overpass, you have a few a loves and a cenex fuel station. Awesome as a Nebraska boy to be able to watch you leave Omaha on the same route I take all the time. Hell I could even give you directions lol
Another great ATS video Jeff, thanks! Great tradition that you give a little introduction to the new states! Always such an excitement to explore new content!

North Platte isn't too bad. I've run a few loads out of Sidney and North Platte... It's not too shabby. Haven't made it into GI yet.
Oh god !! I can't wait to try this new update !!!! Thanks for sharing
I'm glad ur back trucking Uncle Jeff. Keep in Rolling BOSSS
Wonderful video Jeff. Loved the truck pick and I am so excited for the 1.50 update. Have a good day. Keep up the good work
It’s so cool to see Omaha and only be 127 miles from home in Iowa. Keep on marching eastward, SCS! Thanks for the early view, Jeff!
Just left the Omaha area after almost a decade, so it was very cool to visit it virtually like this. Love the content as always, Jeff!
I grew up 30 miles from valentines and have made that trip many times.... pretty accurate
I can't wait to play this for myself, every time they release a dlc it's better than the last! Nice video Jeff love the content man!
Excited to see the continued growth and evolution of ATS and grateful for your content since the very beginning, Jeff!
That’s awesome! I live just outside of Omaha in the village of Waterloo and it was pretty cool to see where Waterloo should’ve been just off of 275
Hey Jeff! Love the content as always. So excited about Nebraska
It’s always cool to see you play ATS and to see whatever new update is coming or is already out. Hope you’re doing well Jeff, have a great night and take care!

Great video Jeff! Really excited for the official release of 1.50 and the Nebraska DLC! 2 awesome things to look forward to!
Yay! ATS! Hope you're doing well Jeff!
Thanks Jeff you’ve inspired me to drive a truck can’t wait to get done with schooling
I lived in Omaha during my elementary, junior high and high school years (81’ to 88’), my new garage headquarters will be there. 😎👊🏾✌🏾
I'm loving this 1.50, I run on a laptop that run mid settings at 10 fps before but now I go up to 15fps now and it just feels a lot smoother.
I've been watching your videos for years now and you never disappoint great content and great conversation keep the videos coming... Watching from fort Worth tx.

My home finally in game. Oh this brings joy to my heart
I finally had a pc built and got it a few weeks ago. Just atarted playing ATS this weekend and love it! Cant wait for wisconsin!
Jeff favignano what up bro great work for the video ❤
32:10 where you circled you should check out, thats kingsley dam i80-hw26 in my opinion best part about Nebraska

I was just in Nebraska for micro wrestling. This reminds me of the drives I had and the way you move your head is like mine lmao.
Glad what you are doing excited for this video
Hey Jeff! Let me send you the steering wheel knob I use. It's a life saver!

Hey jeff i was traveling through Kansas and i saw a Freightliner Coronado on the billboard i hope one day they would add older mofel semi trucks
Buying this week! Was waiting for this vid. Good eye btw! I do believe it’s an Easter egg
14:11 SCS did mention that they are bringing older trucks into the game.
Absolutely can't wait for more of the mid-west!
I can’t wait for Alabama and Tennessee
Scs has done an amazing job with the new dlc and 1.50 update. Better frame rate, and they are really rocking the scenery in the latest dlc's
We were able to see the Lights here in Columbia, MO.
14:19 - No, we aren't getting the Cascadia next (that would be the Mack Pinnacle). HOWEVER, we could get it in the future, and I hope that we do.
I hope they add engine fan sounds and new strobe lightbars for cabs sometime soon.
They are getting better and better.
Keep the good work on the games
So glad to see ATS again!
SCS have said that they are looking into older trucks to add to the simulator
The stutters are strong with this update.
I did however notice that the more I've played 1.50 the less and less they are over time.
Had that same issue for a bit in 1.49 when it was released as well.
your game looks so amazing!!
Man I can’t wait for the world’s largest truck stop in Iowa. I was able to roll through there at 3am. It was like a feee truck show lol
As someone that lives in Omaha it’s weird seeing how accurate the roads are besides the big ass potholes
Thanks for the update.
If you went south of Valentine or west into the panhandle, you'll see Nebraska doesn't look like the rest of the midwest. The Sandhills are quite unique.
Am I the only one who would buy “real” paper maps done in the style of a true road map for ATS? I think that would be amazing.
Yes😭sticking to the gps
I'm from Fremont, love to see you passed by lol
Would've loved to see the perfectly straight stretch of the U.S. interstate highway system on I-80 between Lincoln and Grand Island but oh well it's beautiful regardless.
Would love to see Tennessee in American truck sim love the content keep it up
TN will be bundled up with KY
This and Alabama, so I can ride I-65 Nash to Mobile!

Just noticed the chrome-airfilter box actually acts as a simplified mirror now, has to be new in 1.50? Cool anyhow.
I can’t wait for St. Louis
Min mark 13:58 was a new RV opposite lanes made a right at the traffic light.
They had the older Cascadia in game already years ago and were about to put it ingame until the new one released in real life. But that easter egg might actually be true
Nebraska's nickname is the Cornhuskers state because they grow a lot of corn there.
Very excited for my birth state of Arkansas to be next!
I lived in blair nebraska so I loved to see this coming to ats but its to bad that blair isn't in ats
im surprised that you wheel wiggling back and forth doesnt bug you at all.
On another note SCS really is working double time and pumping out these states. we're gonna have all 48 before you know it. its be cool if they gave us 49 with alaska
Alaska will be there at some point they need to add BC and Yukon so we can drive to AK
Map looks amazing and the devs are plowing through the US. Tho its still gonna take a long time to get to NJ lmao
When I did my cross country trips I would pull off in nowhere nebraska go down a dirt road for a little and just rip dirt donuts lol.
Nebraska is only flat on i80 hwy 30 go 15 miles north or south they got canyons Sandhills and it’s so pretty
Hope you're doing well Jeff. Missed seeing your content,
serious time-warping from Norfolk to Valentine, wish it was that fast n easy IRL
Did SCS update their engine sounds? They really should
Ive neen driving 30 years and i will say this is too cool. I need to find out everything i need to have this set up.
Hello amazing video❤
