- Check out the Top 13 Mods and 7 Settings I use to make ATS as real as possible. I'll show you the 7 settings I use, which ones to turn on and which to turn off. I'll also show which mods I install and where to download them.

The problem with real traffic density is that cities are too small, the areas are too small, and traffic lights are green on for a fraction of a second for you, but red for eons.

i also have the real companies mod for a couple years now ( and 57 others 😅) i have never had a problem with it and any of the realistic ones you also have here , great video

Hi. As for economy, these two mods are better GDC Logistics - Realistic Economy Mod or Pardubak's Economy Mod ATS. Personally, I play the first one (GDC Logistics)

What should be mod priority of these suggested mods? I installed all minus the ones not yet supported for 1.50 (Daniels ATS Random Events Mod) and the economy mod. Don't understand the Real Eaton Fuller Transmissions mod - does it change only one transmission firm and the rest remain vanilla?
G'day Nejc, This is the order I have them in on 1.50 and they are working fine for me.

Real Eaton fuller doesn't alter any of the default gearboxes that I ham aware off, but instead adds a ton of new ones to most trucks.

So Daniels random events mod does work with 1.50! Will install that as soon as I get back home.
What I found a bit too much is Real AI traffic sounds combined with the Real traffic density mod - it becomes too much sound wise. So one of these two will have to go. I also find windows down voice from the Sound fixes mod to be too much. Seen people use another sound mod especially to override this mods windows sound. It doesn't bother you?
Realistic truck physics mod suggests having break setting at 120%. One trucker told me having this setting at 60% yields the most realistic breaking distances that he is used to from real life. Wonder how having it set to 60% affects this mod - have any insights?
Real companies, gas stations and billboards mod usurps the loading screens by occassionally showcasing their low res screenshots. I don't wanna have that in the game. Mayhaps a way exists to prevent that mod from doing so?
I have WS 57X for my first truck - still at the basic 370HP engine but I did upgrade the transmission. Is the strongest engine the one to upgrade to or are there more nuisances to that aspect?
@@Obalcan Yes Daniels random road events works fine for me on 1.50.
I have "Opened windows noise" and "Noise of the flowing air" turned off and when I wind my windows down I still get the effect I want.
My Breaks are set at 80%, I have driven trucks in real-life and I find that at 80% it gives me the most realistic feel when braking however in some modded trucks it is a little too much in those cases I will either turn it down for that truck or just compensate by not pressing the peddle as hard.
With loading screens I have been told that there is a way to use your own but I have not looked into that so can't help sorry, it's not a big deal for me as I am more concerned with playing the game than looking at loading screens LOL.
Having the highest horsepower engine is not necessarily the most effective choice as the torque that an engine produces is key factor in a truck when it comes to what load weights it can comfortably haul. If you do a search on Google for "engine horsepower vs torque in trucks" it will give you a better idea of what I mean.

1:32 I turn off both those settings. The fatigue simulation is unrealistic and there’s traffic offenses that are illegal in game but not in real life.

Hey what's up man so I just got this game finally and I have a Logitech g920 with shifter and when I tried playing all day today I couldn't get the shifter to work and the clutch was acting like the gas and the brake and gas weren't doing anything plus I couldn't even get it into gear so you have any idea of how I can fix it or what I'm doing wrong id really appreciate it alot if you know anyone or if you know what I have to do to fix it thanks bro hope to hear from you soon and please be able to help me out so frustrating trying all day to figure out what the problem is
G'day Bryan, first lets get your gas and brake working, go into "Controls" in game and scroll down to Acceleration Axis and click on "Joy Accelerator" then press down on your gas pedal to bind it then go to "Joy Brake" click on it and then press down on your brake pedal. that should fix that problem.
Then do the clutch by going to "Joy Y Axis" clicking on it and then pressing down on the clutch
Also make sure at the top of "Controls" you have "Keyboard + Logitech G920" chosen in the first drop down.
Make sure that you also have "Wheel" chosen as the "Controller Subtype" and the "Transmission" set to H Shifter.

when i let off the gas the truck slows down a ton how can i stop that?
G'day khonor, Don't let off the gas LOL sorry I had to, no but seriously it sounds like your brake might be slightly engaging or is setup wrong, have you checked the brake in Options under Controls?
@@roanegaming on my old set up i turned off a setting but i cant remember which one it is
@@khonorsmith It might be that you have "Emergency Brake System" enabled if you do just disable it and see if that fixes it. You'll find it in Options under Gameplay

Not sure many people would use real economy. Who would want to do 500 quick jobs before buying their first truck? lol But its there.
G'day Peter, If you want to make to game more challenging it definitely does that. it's way to easy to make huge amounts of cash in the default game so the realistic economy stops that in a big way LOL 🙂
