Thank you for your service! Also, thanks for the information. I don’t have to worry about hurricanes but I live in an extremely cold climate. I have the Delta 2 w/an extra battery. I love EcoFlow. I’m working on increasing my preps in case of power outages. I can’t have a fuel generator since I live in an apartment. I’ll just have to buy extra solar generators as I can. I also have several portable solar panels.
@jennifercraft1296 , My pleasure. Might I suggest getting a Mr. Buddy Heater that takes the 1LBS propane tanks. I know that open flames in an apartment is frowned upon, but in the event that the power goes out and utilities are down, I would rather have the ability to generate heat and explain my actions vice freezing to death in my apartment. You could store 4 1LBS Propane bottles in a small closet and not have to worry about it going off or leaking propane. I will be making a video in the near future title "The 6 prepping items everyone living in an apartment needs". Stay tuned, It should be posted on UA-cam in the next week or two. Thanks for watching and commenting. I appreciate it!!!
I did pretty much the same as you down here in Tampa. Ran my 5 pecron solar stations for a week w/o power during Milton. The best investment for these storms. My wife fought me tooth and nail on buying then now she wants more. Lol My favorite prep are those solar stations my second favorite is my Coleman dual burner propane stove. Nothing better then frying some eggs on the driveway. Those rechargeable flash lights are amazing I need more of them.
@johnmal5975 , Great minds think alike, my friend. It sounds like you have a solid hurricane preparedness plan. Thanks for watching and commenting. I appreciate it!!!
1963-1987 now 4 years in SWFL - EcoFlow Emergency power stations, lots of extension cords - Propane powered generator (dual fuel, I use propane - store for 10 years with no problem) - agree on portable electric fans, mine are 20v B&D, handiest light source is rechargeable headlamp. Fell back on broadcast television, broadcast radio, and 2 meter ham radio for post hurricane news. Small arms were not involved - Mossberg avail for repelling boarders, otherwise great minds think alike.
@oldgeekster1, Thank you for your service. It does sound like great minds think alike. Sounds like you are set up for success when it comes to preparedness for natural disasters. Keep prepping my friend. Semper Fidelis. Thanks for watching and commenting. I appreciate it!!!
You can use battery cases in the C/D sizes with a rechargeable AA battery inside it and run your large Streamlight Siege Lantern on the same batteries you use in the small one! Makes things simpler! Add a couple headlamps to continue to simplify your life!
I would agree with your picks---went through many during the times I lived there on Atlantic side since 2000---im a Ryobi guy too--Ryobi inverters are g2g to cross over your solar generators....try the Ryobi misting fan option as that is great in humid times
@@granitejeepc3651, I will have to look into the Ryobi Misting Fan. Thanks for the recommendation. Thanks for watching and commenting. I appreciate it!!!
@yeahdude, I have definitely been looking at pulling the trigger on a small window A/C unit. I have also been looking at the icybreeze portable A/C Cooler. They run about $350 and have a very small power draw, which would pair perfectly with my EcoFlow River 2 Pro or my Jackery Explorer 550. Thanks for watching and commenting. I appreciate it!!!
Great preps and a lot of each! Well done. You mentioned solar panels, what panels do you have that can charge the solar generators (I assume first choice would be using the B&S generator)?
@murda2999 , I utilize the proprietary solar panels that Jackery & EcoFlow make for their respective solar generators. The Solar Saga 100-watt solar panels(×2) for my Jackery solar generators and the Ecoflow 110-watt solar panels (×2) for my EcoFlow solar generators. If a power outage is due to a hurricane/tornado/bad storm, I will actually utilize my solar generators first because I don't want to go and setup my B&S gas generator while it is raining and having 80 mph wind gusts. Knowing my luck, I would have a massive tree branch fall on me if I did that. I will wait the day or two for the hurricane to pass when the wind and rain stop before I crank up the B&S gasoline generator. Thanks for watching and commenting. I appreciate it!!!
I’m in north Florida too, your video hit the essentials, thank you!

get a window AC unit. I have a transfer switch with 6 circuits. I run the AC overnight and it makes things way better.
